Superman‘s David Corenswet Reveals He Bulked Up by the Same Amount of Weight His Wife Gained While She Was Pregnant
It was actually his wife who helped him land the iconic role. 'She helped me make my first self-tape for the part, and she felt at that point that I should get the part,' he recalled in a People interview. 'I thought she was crazy, but she felt it from the beginning. So if anything, I knew that she would be even more excited than I was.'

Are Labubus on Sale on Amazon Prime Day? Here's How to Score a Monster Bag Charm This WeekIt turned out to be a full circle moment for the DC actor and his love. The couple made their red carpet debut at the July 7 premiere of James Gunn's movie and the two appeared cozy at the premiere.
Julia Best Warner is an actress and producer. She met her future husband at a Pennsylvania theater program called Upper Darby Summer Stage when they were teenagers. 'I made many of my closest friends and most cherished performance memories on — and off — the stage at Upper Darby Summer Stage,' Corenswet told Broadway World. 'But more than that I learned a valuable lesson about life and career: dream of the leading role, compete hard for it, then let it go and enjoy the chorus.
Corenswet described their young romance as a 'slow burn.' She graduated from Point Park University with a Bachelor's degree in acting. Meanwhile, the Pearl actor attended the University of Pennsylvania for a year before transferring to the Juilliard School. She had a role in Netflix's Ratched.
The two married in 2023 in a cross faith ceremony that celebrated his father's Jewish roots and her Catholic upbringing. Warner became pregnant in that summer and the timing was just right for them.
'She told me that she was pregnant two days after I found out I was going to screen test for Superman,' Corenswet told People. 'For the first several months of her pregnancy, as is sort of protocol, we weren't telling anybody. We had these two quite huge secrets that we just had between the two of us.'
The two also shared a common ground during those nine months. 'She gained about 40 pounds while she was pregnant and in the same period, I gained about 40 pounds gaining weight for Superman,' he joked. 'I started snoring and had to use her pregnancy pillow.' Warner gave birth to their daughter in 2024, just in time for filming. They also have a dog named Ira Grrrshwin, who Corenswet describes as a 'toddler' more than a dog. After the birth of his daughter, the Hollywood actor revealed that he inherited some qualities from his father, John, who died in 2019. 'My dad was an enthusiastic father … and was very good with kids,' he said. 'And so I think I just inherited that. I liked being a camp counselor, and I have terrible jokes that nobody laughs at.'

This Teen Built a Game on Roblox -- Then Sold It for Millions
Teen developers are striking gold on Roblox (NYSE:RBLX), and investors are quietly pouring in behind the scenes. A 19-year-old who built Blue Lock: Rivalsan anime-inspired soccer gamesold it for over $3 million just months after launch. At its peak, the title hit more than 1 million concurrent players and was generating roughly $5 million per month for Roblox. The buyer? Do Big Studios, a firm that's been actively snapping up hit titles across the platform, including Grow a Garden, which broke records in June with 21 million simultaneous playerssurpassing Fortnite. Warning! GuruFocus has detected 6 Warning Signs with RBLX. What's fueling this surge in deals is a structural shift in Roblox's ecosystem. A December platform update quietly made it easier for developers to transfer ownership of their gamessomething that used to violate Roblox's terms. That's opened the floodgates. Voldex, another acquisitive player, bought Brookhaven RP in February in a deal CEO Alex Singer described as bigger than Embracer Group's acquisition of Welcome to Bloxburg, which had been reported at around $100 million. Most of these deals are brokered on Discord. Many sellers remain anonymous. But behind the avatars, there's real moneyand increasing interest from capital providers like Raine Group and Shamrock Capital. Roblox's creator economy is now attracting serious financial attention. The platform is on track to pay out over $1 billion to developers this year, with the top ten creators earning $36 million each over the last 12 months. Valuations for games typically range from 112 months of revenue, depending on how stable the player base looks. Voldex has even inked partnerships with the NFL to rebrand games like Ultimate Football, extending their shelf life. Roblox isn't actively participating in these secondary market transactions, but the trajectory is clear: this could be the early innings of a new asset class where digital gamesespecially those born in teenage bedroomscommand multi-million-dollar exits. Blake Lively Doesn't Want Baldoni Deposition To Happen At Madison Square Garden
Blake Lively wants a judge to set the location for her next legal skirmish with Justin Baldoni ... and she's not in favor of making it a public spectacle, as Justin's people proposed. According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Blake is asking the judge to order her upcoming deposition to take place at her lawyer's office. Justin's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, has suggested live streaming Blake's depo from the World's Most Famous Arena ... Madison Square Garden ... but Blake's making it clear here she's not on board with the farfetched plan. Blake's also expressing concern Justin's camp is trying to harass her by getting her to walk through paparazzi on her way to the deposition. The horror of an actress walking by cameras. Back in May, Freedman told us ... "If Blake Lively is really serious about testifying for the world to see, let's live stream it in Madison Square Garden and give the money to the domestic violence survivors." The deposition, as we first reported, is set for Thursday in the Big Apple. Blake's rep tells TMZ … "Ms. Lively is looking forward to her deposition next week, and it should follow the same rules as every other witness in this case. Justin Baldoni's lawyer has tried to make this matter a public spectacle at every turn, even proposing to sell tickets to a televised deposition at Madison Square Garden. This is a serious matter of sexual harassment and retaliation and it deserves to be treated as such."
