MK Dons sign Bolton striker Collins
MK Dons have signed striker Aaron Collins from League One side Bolton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.The 28-year-old Welshman scored 20 goals in 64 league appearances for Wanderers after joining from Bristol Rovers in February 2024."Aaron is a naturally gifted footballer with bags of ability, especially in front of goal," Dons boss Paul Warne told the club website., external"He's a very versatile player and will add a massive goal threat for us across the front line."The League Two side have not revealed the length of contract Collins has signed.

Makin makes history with PSA Squash Tour Finals title win
British number one Joel Makin has become the first Welsh player to win the PSA Squash Tour Finals after he beat world number one Mostafa Asal at Toronto's Revival Film 30-year-old won the first two games 11-10, 11-7, before Asal, 24, retired from the match due to an ankle injury after the Egyptian went 1-0 behind in the third game. Legendary trainer Hills dies aged 88
Legendary racehorse trainer Barry Hills has died aged Lambourn-based trainer enjoyed more than 3,200 wins during a career lasting over 40 a career as a jockey and head lad, he began training in 1969 and won 10 British and Irish Classics, including the 2,000 Guineas with Tap On Wood in 1979 and the 1,000 Guineas with Ghanaati 30 years racked up victories across the world, including the 1973 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe with Rheingold, and broke records with Nagwa and Further Flight. Nagwa scored 13 wins as a juvenile and Further Flight landed five Jockey Club overcame serious illnesses and throat cancer to carry on retired in 2011 and handed over to his son Charlie, but came out of retirement for a period after the death of his son Michael and Richard were both successful jockeys.
