Jet2 ‘does not endorse' White House deportation video featuring Jess Glynne clip
The hit song Hold My Hand, by Jess Glynne, features in the advert, and the singer said the social media post made her feel 'sick'.
The video shows people being handcuffed and escorted on to a plane, alongside the caption: 'When ICE books you a one-way Jet2 holiday to deportation. Nothing beats it!'
The caption makes reference to the accompanying voiceover, which says: 'Nothing beats a Jet2holiday, and right now you can save £50 per person…'
A spokesperson for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays told the PA news agency: 'Our branding has become something of a viral phenomenon this summer and we are pleased to see how many people have used it in good humour.
'This has put a smile on many people's faces, just like our holidays do. We are of course aware of a post from the White House social media account.
'This is not endorsed by us in any way, and we are very disappointed to see our brand being used to promote government policy such as this.'
The audio has become a meme in recent weeks and has been used in more than 1.9 million videos on TikTok.
In a post to her Instagram story, Glynne, 35, said: 'This post honestly makes me feel sick. My music is about love, unity, and spreading positivity – never about division or hate.'
Earlier this month, Glynne met voiceover star Zoe Lister on Capital Breakfast to recreate the advert live on the radio.
Glynne told the station: 'It's mad because I feel like when I do my gigs, I feel like when I go to sing the hook, I feel like they're waiting for me to go 'nothing beats a Jet2 holiday'. It is tempting but I need to take this seriously, it can't be a joke.'
The White House has posted memes to its social media pages before, including an image of Donald Trump's face superimposed on to Superman alongside the caption: 'The symbol of hope. Truth. Justice. The American way. Superman Trump.'
The US government has been cracking down on immigration and expanding its largely secretive third-country deportation programme.

Coronation Street icon dyes hair ahead of making major comeback this week
Catherine Tyldesley is set to reprise her role as blonde bombshell Eva Price on Coronation Street, and has gone back to her character's signature colour in time for filming Catherine Tyldesley has dyed her hair in time for her return to Coronation Street. The actress, 41, is set to be make a major comeback onto the ITV soap as she returns to her signature role of Eva Price, seven years on from her initial exit. During her initial stint on the cobbles, Eva sported platinum blonde locks but after she quit the soap, Catherine quickly went back to her natural brunette colour as she competed on Strictly Come Dancing. She kept the darker look as she took on roles in shows such as Scarborough and Viewpoint but an Instagram post on Tuesday revealed that she is a blonde once again. The actress shared two snaps of herself posing with friends as she headed out for dinner, in Manchester and The Sun reports that the outing comes just days before she is supposed to making a return to the set at MediaCityUK to begin filming. Catherine, who was a brunette when she took on her first big role in the BBC drama Lilies prior to joining Coronation Street, previously explained that bosses just felt that it was right that barmaid Eva would have blonde hair. It comes after reports of all the celebrities rumoured to be joining BBC Strictly Come Dancing 2025. In 2019, she explained during an interview on Lorraine: "When I first started Corrie I'd done a sketch show and was blonde. They felt Eva was blonde and so did I. I keep walking past windows and mirror and think 'Oh!' and forget I've done it. A lady came up to me and said I think you should be blonde." Reports surrounding the return of Leanne Battersby's sister emerged earlier this year, but then nothing was announced. Fresh reports just last week claimed the planned plot was now approaching. It's thought that the move has come about after EastEnders bosses revealed that Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) will be taking the reins of the Queen Victoria pub. Aaron McCusker, who starred as Freddie Mercury's boyfriend in the film Bohemian Rhapsody, is reportedly set to arrive alongside her as her new husband. A source told The Sun: "Corrie bosses were never going to take EastEnders shrewd decision to reinstate Kat and Alfie at the Vic lying down. So they took their time looking for the perfect actor to play her husband to Eva as she makes her return to Corrie as the new boss of the Rovers." The insider added that Corrie bosses knew they had found the 'perfect' actor as soon as the Irish-born star walked into the room. They added of his character: "Aaron's character is also someone not to be messed with, and the locals are going to be in for a shock if they think they can take advantage of his good nature and that cheeky Irish charm. "It's the start of an exciting new chapter in the pub's history." Aaron is also known for his role as Jamie Maguire in Shameless, whilst Catherine has starred in The Good Ship Murder and earlier this year appeared opposite Siobhan Finneran in an episode of the ITV drama Protection. She was also set to star in a cancelled touring production of Bonnie and Clyde: The Musical last year and went viral over a social media scandal known as Cakegate in late 2023. The actress first appeared on Coronation Street in 2011 as the daughter of Stella Price (Michelle Collins), who had arrived to take over the pub herself and also reveal herself as the long-lost mother of Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson). Over the course of seven years, Catherine saw her alter-ego through numerous relationships with the likes of Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas), Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) and Nick Tilsey (Ben Price). Her most notable relationship was with Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward), but that started to go awry when he began an affair with Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon). Instead of confronting Aidan head-on about his infidelity, she took revenge by putting a bright pink Range Rover on his credit card and then decided to fake a pregnancy. Maria discovered Eva's lies and exposed them all at the wedding but Eva later discovered that she was in fact pregnant with Aidan's baby. In order to go through with the birth in secret, she went off to a remote cottage and had planned to give baby Susie away to Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor). However, Aidan later took his own life and Eva began to grow close to her daughter, eventually opting to leave in the back of a taxi with her for good. If Eva does return and take over the Rovers, she will be following in the footsteps of former characters such as Annie Walker (Doris Speed), Bet Lynch (Julie Goodyear) and Liz McDonald (Beverley Callard), all of whom have helmed the nation's most famous pub over the course of the show's history. One such landlady is Jenny Connor, who is confirmed to be leaving the ITV soap. Fox News anchor Jesse Watters makes startling prediction about glam A-Lister he thinks Barron Trump will marry
Fox News anchor Jesse Watters has made a startling prediction that Barron Trump will marry MAGA's newest sweetheart, actress Sydney Sweeney. On Monday's episode of The Five, Watters discussed the ongoing controversy surrounding the glamorous actress after she was plunged into the hot seat by angry liberals who branded her American Eagle ad 'Nazi propaganda.' After highlighting how Democrats have lost 'another culture war battle,' Watters playfully said that the president's 19-year-old son will one day wed Sweeney, 27. He said: 'Every girl wants to look like her, and every guy wants to look at her. And the Democrats think, "Wait a second, why don't we call her a Nazi and boycott the company?" 'You know how this ends? She's going to marry Barron and it's going to create the greatest political dynasty in American history,' Watters said as his co-anchors laughed. Watters' comment comes after Donald Trump sensationally gushed over the Euphoria star when hearing about the backlash she's received from liberals. Sweeney faced criticism after it was revealed she's a registered Republican. 'Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the "HOTTEST" ad out there. It's for American Eagle, and the jeans are "flying off the shelves." Go get 'em Sydney!' the president said. Although the president and Watters have thrown their support behind Sweeney, some people were left uncomfortable by the anchor's comment - considering Trump's son is eight years her junior. Waters' bizarre comment came as he and his co-hosts discussed the controversy surrounding Sweeney's recent American Eagle ad (pictured) 'Gross, could you imagine,' one user wrote. 'Threw up in my mouth,' wrote another. Someone else questioned: 'What makes him think that Sydney would even be interested in Barron?' 'Cringey,' another commented. While many were not onboard with Watters' idea, others appeared to agree with his prediction. 'That would be very cool,' one said. Someone else stated: 'Could happen.' 'A perfect match,' another commented. Clothing brand American Eagle has been under fire for days after running a 'racially charged' ad featuring the White Lotus star. In the advert, the blonde-haired, blue eyed actress was seen donning denim with the tagline 'Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans.' In the commercial, Sweeney said: 'Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality and even eye jeans are blue.' It almost immediately sparked a conversation about eugenics and racism online, with many people disowning not just the brand, but Sweeney as well. Sweeney is a member of the Republican Party of Florida, according to public voter records reviewed by Daily Mail. She registered in Monroe County, Florida in June 2024. Buzzfeed was the first outlet to report Sweeney's voter registration. President Trump was elated to discover Sweeney was registered as a Republican after her controversial jeans ad set off a political firestorm. Daily Mail asked Trump for his reaction to Sweeney's surprise voter registration after he landed in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and the president didn't shy away from his excitement. 'Oh, now I love her ad,' Trump responded. 'You'd be surprised at how many people are Republican. That's one I wouldn't have known, but I'm glad you told me that,' he continued. 'If Sydney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I think her ad is fantastic.'

Other returning Islanders include Sophie Piper, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Curtis Pritchard, Scott Thomas and Anton Danyluk. The show celebrated its 10th anniversary this year with season 12, and it is expected to be the biggest since season nine (which aired in January 2023). This show's streams on ITVX, currently at 163 million, are up 9 per cent year-on-year, making it the biggest series since the launch of ITVX. The show has also pulled in the biggest digital channel 16-34 audience of the year and continues to dominate digital conversation with a colossal reach of 2.3 billion across all platforms. Amanda Stavri, Commissioning Editor, Reality at ITV added: "With over 2 billion streams, the Love Island brand continues to thrive, with our All Stars series fast becoming a staple in our reality schedule. We can't wait to kick start our third series and set about bringing back some of the viewers' favourite Islanders for another unmissable series."
