Lumio announces Google TV-Powered Arc 7, Arc 5 projectors With 100-inch display and Dolby Audio
has launched two smart projectors targeting India's underdeveloped home projector market. The
Lumio Arc 5
, priced at Rs 19,999, and Arc 7 for Rs 34,999, address key barriers that have limited projector adoption in India, including poor app compatibility, substandard audio quality, and unreliable after-sales support. Both models feature Google TV certification with Netflix compatibility and access to over 400,000 movies and shows across 10,000+ apps.
"We see projectors as the next frontier in home entertainment," said Raghu Reddy, CEO of Circuit House Technologies. The company identified that India's midrange projector segment (Rs 20,000-50,000) lacked quality options, forcing consumers to choose between inadequate sub-Rs 12,000 models or expensive high-end alternatives.
The Arc 5 offers 200 ANSI lumens brightness with up to 100-inch projection, weighing just 1.33 kg for portability. The Arc 7 delivers 400 ANSI lumens for brighter rooms and features 2x8W stereo speakers with
Dolby Audio
support.
Both projectors use Lumio's proprietary
Arclight Engine
, featuring dust-proof sealing and Full HD 1080p resolution with HDR10 support. Smart setup features include auto-keystone correction, obstacle avoidance, and instant autofocus using Time-of-Flight sensors.

Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University to be ready by September: V-C
The construction of the long-awaited Pune campus of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), Nashik, is expected to be completed by September in a 30,000 square feet building campus, said vice-chancellor Sanjeev Sonawane. Land for the building was allotted by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) to the YCMOU in Balewadi in 2013, but progress was stalled had been years after this allocation. The new campus will have an administrative building, a bookstore, library, reading room with capacity of 150, a computer centre with 50-100 machines, learning material for students, and other facilities, Sonawane said. 'The land was allotted many years ago but nothing had gone ahead. In my tenure I tried to tender it through the Public Works Department and now it is at the finishing stage. Within two months it will be ready. The civil work is completely completed, only the interior work and electrical work is remaining,' he said. Currently, the Pune regional centre operates out of the Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe School Library at PMC School number 5 on Kumthekar Road. This space inside a school building was wholly inadequate for the operation of a regional centre of a University. According to the university website, only seven staff members were employed at the centre in 2020, the last year for which the data is available. Sonawane added, 'We want to shift the centre to our own building with more facilities for counsellors and students. There will be a computer centre with 50-100 computers which will facilitate our central assessment programme, which is an online on-screen evaluation, so Pune examiners can assess the on-screen evaluation at the new campus. Regular academic and counselling services will also be there.' In a government resolution passed on July 3 by the Higher and Technical Education Department, the state government had approved Rs 4.12 crore for the 'construction of the Divisional Center buildings of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik in Pune'. UP Board 10th and 12th scrutiny results 2025 declared at UPMSP website UP Board Scrutiny Result 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has released the UP Board Scrutiny Results 2025 for both Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. The revised marks have been published on the official website allowing students who had applied for re-evaluation to check their updated scores. The scrutiny process was conducted for students who submitted requests for re-checking their answer scripts, and the evaluation aimed to rectify any discrepancies in the counting of marks, unmarked answers, or other clerical errors. This process was done in accordance with the official orders issued by the Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Prayagraj. Region-wise results declared for scrutiny applications According to the official statement issued by the Regional Secretary, Secondary Education Council, Uttar Pradesh, Bareilly region, the scrutiny process has been completed as per the set rules. The scrutiny result applies to students who had submitted online applications for institutional or individual scrutiny related to the High School Examination 2025 under various regional offices.
