Anush Agarwalla claims title win with Floriana, 7, at Jubiläumsturnier Hofgeismar Open
Indian dressage star Anush Agarwalla got off to a spectacular start with his new black mare Floriana, securing first place at the Jubiläumsturnier Hofgeismar Open with an impressive 69.841%. Riding the elegant 7-year-old, it was the pair's first-ever win at S* level, only the second time they paired up. Anush has three horses to choose from – Etro, Flynn and Floriana, since his stint with Sir Caramello Old.. He went on Insta and Twitter and shared: 'Winner Winner Chicken Dinner 2nd S ever and directly first win for Floriana and myself with 69.8%! Only 7 years old and what a potential for the future.' Anush added: 'I'm incredibly proud of Floriana. This was only her second S competition and she handled it with maturity beyond her years. Winning here is a special moment for both of us. I want to sincerely thank Anna Schölermann for her constant guidance, training, and belief in us. This is just the beginning for Floriana, and I'm excited about what the future holds.' The Asian Games double medallist has been camped in Germany and is preparing for the World Championships later this year and Asian Games in 2026. He has also started his digital series #DressageWithAnush, where he unpacks the fundamentals of dressage what the audience sees, what they don't, and everything in between on his Instagram channel, with new episodes drops every alternate Thursday at 1:30 PM, with E2 due to land. While upgrading to the Grand Prix competition level in Europe, Anush will test for combinations. The Indian ace, has more choices to pick from besides Straight Horse Floriana, a 7-year-old black mare. Flynn, a 9-year-old black gelding is added to his stables. 'I have 3 top horses ahead of the World Championship. It depends,' he says, not revealing who his choice might be. Etro, the bay stallion, is training on the Grand Prix level, and already has a Minimum Eligibility Requirement, a qualifying standard, at the World Equestrian Games. The main goal however stays the World Championships 2026 and LA Olympics 2028. Flynn, at 9, is training on Grand Prix level, and might become first choice for World Championships 2026 and LA Olympics 2028, while Straight Horse Floriana, who's only 7, is finding her feet on Prix St. George level, and might be opted for at the Asian Games 2026 and subsequently LA Olympics 2028, but not the World's. However, with this win, Anush may shuffle his combinations.

Panchayat's Sachiv Ji Or Kota Factory's Jeetu Bhaiya? Jitendra Kumar Says 'My favourite…'
Last Updated: Jitendra Kumar shared which of his characters, Kota Factory's Jeetu Bhaiya or Panchayat's Sachiv ji, fans connect with more today. Jitendra Kumar has become a rare face in Indian streaming who can claim two cult roles that fans refuse to let go of – Jeetu Bhaiya from Kota Factory and Sachiv ji from Panchayat. And while both characters are much loved by the fans and the meme world, one clearly leads the popularity race. In a recent chat with IANS, the actor was asked which name fans call out to him more often in public. 'I think Jeetu Bhaiya is a bit more popular, but people often end up mixing the two worlds," Jitendra said. The Panchayat actor shared a funny example of how fans tend to mash the two characters together in conversation. 'If someone wants to tell me something, they call me Jeetu Bhaiya, but in the same breath, they say, 'will Jeetu Bhaiya be able to move on from Rinki or not?' So, they end up mixing both worlds. I think they have a hangover of both the shows, but 'Jeetu Bhaiya' comes more easily to them compared to Sachiv ji," he added. As for his personal pick between the two roles, Jitendra found it tough to choose. 'It is very difficult to choose as both these characters are very different from one another, but given that Panchayat season 4 has just released, it is my favourite at the moment." As Jeetu Bhaiya in Kota Factory, Jitendra Kumar plays a calm, mentor-like teacher who has become a cultural icon among students and aspirants. He plays a compassionate physics teacher who becomes a mentor figure to IIT aspirants — firm, empathetic and deeply relatable, especially to students facing academic pressure. In Panchayat, he shines as Abhishek Tripathi or Sachiv Ji, the sincere village secretary, where his understated performance and slow-burn chemistry with Sanvikaa (who plays Rinki) have struck a chord with audiences. Their on-screen bond, subtle yet engaging, adds charm to the show's emotional core. During an appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix, host Kapil Sharma couldn't resist teasing Jitendra about his popularity among female fans, asking if girls now call him 'Jeetu Bhaiya' when asking for selfies. To that, Jitendra joked, 'Main mana kar deta hoon. Bhaiya bologe toh selfie nahi milegi (I say no. If you call me brother, you won't get a selfie)." Meanwhile, Panchayat Season 4 has turned out to be a big hit on OTT and Panchayat Season 5 is already in the works.
