Geri Halliwell only Spice Girl to snub Mel B's wedding to Rory McPhee
All other members of the hit 90s girl band – Victoria Beckham, Mel C, and Emma Bunton – have expressed support and congratulations for their bandmate, whether it be on social media or by attending the ceremony itself.
But as far as Geri is concerned, it's still radio silence.
Yesterday, Scary Spice, 50, tied the knot with celebrity hairdresser Rory McPhee, to whom she got engaged in 2022.
It was every inch a lavish affair, perhaps somewhat resembling a royal wedding, as a crowd formed outside St Paul's Cathedral to catch the pop star in her bespoke luxury gown.
The guest list was truly star-studded, with Katherine Ryan, Alan Carr, Gaby Roslin, Cara Delevingne, and Daisy Lowe all on the guest list.
Joining them was Emma, aka Baby Spice, who beamed with pride as she arrived wearing a sweet blush pink dress, accompanied by her partner, Jade Jones, and son, Beau.
And while two other Spice Girls were unable to attend, Posh and Sporty made sure to wish Mel well before her big day.
Taking to Instagram, fashion designer Victoria, who decided not to join the group for their last reunion tour in 2019, wrote: 'Congratulations @officalmelb @rorymcphee on your special day! I couldn't be more excited for you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness! kisses xx'
The day before Mel's wedding, Victoria, who couldn't make it due to being on holiday, also wrote: 'Sending love to you @officialmelb! @rorymcphee is a very lucky man! xx'
A source denied that there was an 'issue' or a 'falling out' causing Victoria to skip the wedding. It was just 'one of those things'.
They added to the Daily Mail: 'Victoria has long-standing plans out of the country, and she simply can't be there.
'She adores Mel; they get on really well despite their paths going in opposite directions. It's a real shame.'
Meanwhile, Mel C—full name Melanie Chisholm—said she was 'gutted' to miss out on the nuptials.
Sharing a snap from the day, she wrote on Insta to the newlyweds: 'So so happy for you both and beyond gutted I couldn't be there. Excited to celebrate with you really soon! Yippee!'
After Mel and Rory posted professional photos from their wedding in London, there were plenty of other celebs flooding the comments to say congratulations, including Paloma Faith, Sofia Vergara, Alexandra Burke, Ayda Field, Heidi Klum, and Terry Crews.
While details on why Geri, 52, opted to skip the wedding are unknown, it's said that her colourful past with Mel had something to do with it.
The former bandmates were once reportedly unable to be in the same room due to animosity between them and their tendency to fight.
Then, when appearing on Piers Morgan's Life Stories, Mel added fuel to the fire with her bombshell confession that she and Geri had an intimate relationship during the band's early days.
It's believed Geri was upset by the revelation, for which Mel never apologised. Her husband, Christian Horner, was also reportedly livid.
When fellow Spice Girl Victoria had her big 50th birthday bash last year, Mel appeared to want to quash rumours of any bad blood.
Initially, it was reported that her reunion with Geri was frosty, as they had a tense exchange before keeping their distance on the night.
Still, Mel shared group snaps on Insta afterwards, writing: 'What an amazing girl power weekend with all my girls, i have soooo much love and respect for you ALL #friendshipneverends [sic]'. More Trending
After saying 'I do' this weekend, Rory became Mel's third husband. She was previously married to Dutch dancer Jimmy Gulzar in 1998.
Then, in 2007, she wed Stephen Belafonte when they eloped to Las Vegas. The couple parted ways in 2016 when Mel accused him of abuse, which he denied.
Speaking about her now-husband, Rory, Mel previously told Us Weekly: 'He's a very confident man, and that, to me, is a man. He makes me feel so safe.'
She later added to Hello! Magazine: 'For the first time in my life, I'm engaged to a beautiful, honest person who makes me feel protected, nurtured and so loved, and I want to savour that.'

EXCLUSIVE Mel B ditched her wild girl reputation for 'low-key' wedding bash which saw most guests heading home by 7pm - however, star plans 'informal and sexy' second 'do in Morocco
Mel B cast aside her once wild girl reputation for her wedding last weekend – stunning guests and onlookers by the lack of hard partying and excess, with most of the guests heading home by 7pm. The Spice Girl, 50, who has previously boasted of late night booze-fuelled sex and taking cocaine six times a day, held her third nuptials in London – tying the knot with hairstylist Rory McPhee, 37. But after a lavish ceremony at St Paul's Cathedral, including a horse and carriage, she took pals and family to a bar at The Shard skyscraper for a bash which many expected to rage well into the early hours. The wedding party arrived at the reception at 4.30pm, however most of Mel's guests had headed for home by 7pm, with many having already changed into casual clothing following just over two hours of socialising. As one guest put it: 'I'd sort of thought for Scary Spice it would be a massive late night party with all the usual showbiz excess but it was the total opposite – it was actually rather low key.' 'Perhaps she's grown up a lot in the last few years and settled down. It was all a long way from how she used to be.' Mel's children, Phoenix, 26, and Angel, 18, spent much of the festivities stood outside the hotel entrance smoking rolled up cigarettes – with security even moving them away from the well-heeled venue to avoid upsetting other residents and visitors. The news of Mel's subdued celebrations comes after it was previously reported that she and her new husband were expected to throw a huge 'party in the sky' amid their £28,000 lavish celebrations at The Shard. At the Shangri-La venue inside the building, friends and family were expected to dance into the small hours as the 'party of the century' had been promised by the bride and groom. One source involved in the wedding said: 'It is going to be huge, the Shard is the most fantastic venue with unforgettable views so it will make for the most memorable event. 'It is conveniently close to St Paul's too, it's third time lucky for Mel so she is going to go all out and celebrate. 'The Shard says that brides and grooms can 'celebrate their special day in the clouds with enchanting London views, your special day will be as breathtaking as your love story' and that is exactly what Mel wants.' However, there's more celebrating to come for the happy couple as they're set to host a second wedding in Morocco, which has been described as 'informal and sexy'. The second nuptials will be offer her Spice Girls bandmates a second chance to attend her wedding celebrations after only Emma Bunton attended the big day at St Paul's Cathedral on Saturday. As one guest put it: 'I'd sort of thought for Scary Spice it would be a massive late night party with all the usual showbiz excess but it was the total opposite – it was actually rather low key' Mel C, 51, and Victoria Beckham, 51, both paid tribute to the bride and groom after they were forced to miss the wedding. However Geri Halliwell has so far failed to acknowledge the star-studded day. Geri will be given the chance to extend an olive branch to Mel if she attends the North African ceremony - which holds a significance for the girl band. In 2015, the Spice Girls had a mini reunion in Morocco when they jetted there to celebrate David Beckham 's 40th birthday. Sporty, Posh, Baby and Ginger looked in great spirits as they posed for snaps at the event - but ironically - this time Mel B was the only Spice Girl not in attendance. Instead, Eva Longoria filled in for Scary - joking 'I'm the new Spice Girl! #LatinaSpice'. Now, there will be chance to get a snap of the full lineup in Morocco if they attend Mel's second wedding in the summer - which she has described as 'more informal, sexy and beautiful '. Mel B told The Sun of her plans for a second wedding to Rory later this summer and said she'd already splashed out on a gown to wear. 'In one incredible afternoon I found two perfect dresses. One beautiful classic dress by Josephine Scott, a British designer, and one stunning dramatic dress by a US designer, Justin Alexander'. Guests including Alan Carr and Leigh Francis were quick to offer their congratulations, while fellow bandmate Geri remained silent. The pair have a tempestuous relationship and at times have struggled to be in the same room without there being animosity. Geri continued to snub Mel B on Sunday after her lavish wedding weekend - while the likes of Heidi Klum, Paloma Faith and Kerry Katona led the stars sending the Spice Girl congratulatory messages following the ceremony. Tim Tebow and Miss Universe wife welcome first child together... and reveal heartwarming story behind baby's name
Tim Tebow and his Miss Universe wife have welcomed their first child together. The 37-year-old college football icon and his model wife Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters announced the news with an emotional post on Instagram on Monday. The couple shared a series of black-and-white photos of themselves in the hospital alongside their new daughter. The caption read: 'Our daughter is here! We couldn't be more grateful for the blessing and gift of this new little life. 'We're so grateful to the whole medical team that assisted us in the best way possible during my labor and delivery. From our doctor to our nurses and all the hospital staff — we are so grateful and thankful for you. 'To my sweet friend @hannahjanoe thank you for capturing one of the most special moments of our lives so perfectly. 'Thank you to everyone who's been praying with us over her arrival. We are so incredibly thankful for all of the love and support we've felt. 'We can't wait to share her name with you soon'. However, it didn't take long for that announcement. Just hours later, the couple returned to Instagram to share a joint post which revealed their daughter's name. The post read: 'Meet our daughter, Daphne Reign Tebow. 'Daphne is a name that's been close to my heart since I was a little girl. I never got to meet my mom's mother, but her sister, Daphne, stepped in as a grandma figure to me. 'And Reign… it's a name that holds so much meaning. But more than anything, her name reminds us that when you're adopted into God's family, you become a child of the King. You were made to rule and reign—not in power, but in purpose, love, and identity. 'So here she is — our daughter. Our answered prayer. Daphne Reign Tebow — created in the image of God. Royalty as His princess. Our biggest prayer over her is to reign in God's purpose for her life'. The couple first announced the news that they were expecting a child back in January in a joint Instagram post. The birth of their daughter comes five years after the couple got married At the time, the couple wrote: 'We're over the moon to step into parenthood together'. Tebow and wife married in 2020 and are celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on January 20. After brief stints with Denver Broncos and New York Jets, the Philippines-born star Tebow was only used in the offseason or as a practice squad member by New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars before being released by the latter in 2021. He has also tried his hand in professional baseball in recent years, signing a minor league baseball contract with the New York Mets in 2016 and playing outfield for the organization for five years.

Videos of her performing in popular clubs to various Egyptian hit songs have garnered millions of views across various social media platforms. But an investigation was reportedly triggered by one of her most shared videos, where Linda performs in a cabaret in a traditional belly dancing costume. The Cairo prosecutor's office accuses the young woman of having "used seduction techniques and provocative dances to incite vice". According to authorities' report, in some videos Linda "deliberately wore provocative clothing and performed dance movements with sexual allusions" They say she therefore disrespected "public decency" and the "values of family and society". Investigators also argued the artist "appeared in indecent clothing, deliberately exposing sensitive areas of her body, in clear violation of social values". She denies all the charges against her and claims she practices her profession in compliance with the law. The dancer said after being arrested: "I have the permits to practice my activity and all the videos circulating on social media are normal. "It is a permitted dance performance and does not contain anything that violates or goes against public morals." Irish TD Paul Murphy detained in Egypt and passport confiscated after bus stopped amid March to Gaza She added that the content she records is "only for entertainment purposes". Whilst belly dancing isn't prohibited in Egypt, videos on social media have to comply with the country's values. Egypt has increased its cruel crackdowns on artists and influences accused of offending public morals. Under Abdel Fattah Al Sisi's government, at least five belly dancers have been horrifically jailed on charges similar to those given to Linda. The Pharaoh nation sucks in a staggering 18 million tourists each year, and the industry props up around 10 per cent of the whole economy. But beyond the plush resorts of the popular Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada - Egypt is covering up its dark underbelly. The country's brutal police force deals in bribes and locks people up on bogus charges, including Brit holidaymakers. Egypt's picture-postcard image is being tested, with a former British ambassador to the country recently branding it a "police state". 5 Videos of her performing in popular clubs to various Egyptian hit songs have garnered millions of views Credit: Instagram
