Palma, 25, moved to Celtic in August 2023 from Greek club Aris.
He'd previously been of interest to Rangers who saw a bid kicked out for him earlier in the year.
Palma penned a five-year deal at Celtic Park running until 2028.
He took some time to get off and running with the Hoops, but did manage to make a decent impact in his first season in Scottish football.

Palma netted seven goals in 28 Premiership games as Celtic won a league and Scottish Cup double.
His second season, however, proved a struggle.
Palma fell down the pecking order under Brendan Rodgers and in January, he moved on loan to Olympiacos.
Despite being part of a side that went on to win the Greek title, the club decided against buying Palma permanently.

An exit has always looked likely this summer and now, he's sealed his move away.

He could be thrust straight into European action on Tuesday night with the club in action in Champions League qualifying.
They face Icelandic champions Breidablik in the first leg of their second qualifying round tie in Poland.
Before touching down in Poland, Palma spoke of why he'd decided to make the move.
He said: "I am very happy with the move.

"I'm delighted to be joining my new club and it was all done very quickly.
"I spoke with Celtic and it was my decision to look elsewhere.
"I don't know too much about the Polish League, except that it's a good league, with big stadiums and big clubs.
"I am going to learn a lot about football there.

"My goal is to play as much as possible and make a good impression.
"I spoke to Reinaldo Rueda about the move, but I did so more as a friend."

'Dream': Oscar Onley matches Scottish record at Tour de France
Cyclist Oscar Onley equalled the best-ever Scottish finish in the Tour de France at the weekend and says the performance has 'sparked a dream' for the future. The 22-year-old finished fourth to match a 41-year-old record set by Philippa York, who was then known as Robert Millar, in 1984. Speaking afterwards, Onley, who finished one minute and 12 seconds behind third-placed Florian Lipowitz, insisted he never had any plans for the general classification (overall standings) at the start of the race. He told ITV Sport: 'We never really had the plan to go for GC in the beginning. It was more just see how it goes. 'To be honest, I've never even thought about a top five in the Tour before, so to get it in my first try in GC is quite incredible and I'm excited for the future. 'It gives me a lot of confidence for the upcoming races as well as these are the top guys and in top shape in the biggest race. 'So if I can do it here then why not in other races? 'I've just taken every day as it's come really and not made any extra stress as the Tour is already stressful enough, just to ride and compete. 'I'm really happy with how myself and the team have managed these three weeks. 'I guess this is a really big moment in my career. 'I don't really realise it yet, but I think just with talking to other riders, going forward now we have something to build on and an exciting project for the future, and it sparks a bit of a dream.' Tadej Pogacar celebrated his fourth Tour de France title in Paris but was denied what would have been a stunning final stage victory as Wout van Aert rode away on the wet cobbles of Montmartre to win on the Champs-Elysees. Pogacar looked keen to take what could prove to be a unique opportunity to win in yellow in Paris as the introduction of three ascents of the climb to Montmartre reshaped the usual final day procession, but Van Aert broke clear on the last time up to take the glory. Although the general classification times had been neutralised in the soggy conditions, Pogacar still had to finish to secure his title yet was willing to risk it all on the greasy cobbles in pursuit of a fifth stage win of this Tour. The Slovenian attacked each time up the narrow climb to whittle down a leading group to just a handful of riders, but had no response when Van Aert made his move 400 metres from the summit of the final ascent, winning solo by 19 seconds from Davide Ballerini. Last week, SunSport exclusively reported Isak had been offered a £32million-a-year deal from Saudi Arabia. However, his heart is set on Liverpool. Earlier this month, Newcastle knocked back the Reds' initial approach over a potential British-record £120million move. Lionesses fans spot hilarious X-rated comment Chloe Kelly shouts after collecting medal
Lionesses star Chloe Kelly scored the winning penalty for England to send the nation into ecstasy but a moment after the Euro 2025 final on Sunday also had fans taking Eagle-eyed fans spotted an X-rated moment from Chloe Kelly in the aftermath of her Euro 2025 final heroics. Arsenal star Kelly once again came off the bench and had a huge impact for the Lionesses, as they beat Spain on penalties in Basel, Switzerland. The 27-year-old came on for the injured Lauren James in the first half, with England 1-0 down. Kelly had scored the winning goal in Tuesday's semi-final victory over Italy but made an even greater impact against Spain. As England chased an equaliser early the second half, the winger whipped in a cross for Arsenal team-mate Alessia Russo to nod home and make it 1-1. Then, during the penalty shootout, Kelly stepped up to take England's fifth penalty and scored in emphatic fashion. She and her fellow Lionesses were then given winners' medals by UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin after shaking hands with Prince William. Once Kelly had received her gold medal, she kissed it before turning to the camera and mouthing: "F***ing come on!" Those watching at home on TV were quick to point out her comment. One fan posted on X: "Chloe Kelly 'F***ing come on' Hah. Legend." Another wrote: "Chloe Kelly mouthing 'F***ing Come On!' as she walked away with her winners medal is peak football joy." A third added: "Chloe Kelly shaking hands with Prince William then turning to the camera... kissing her winners medal and saying "F***ING COME ON' was the standout moment of the Women's Euros for me #Legend." Kelly, who memorably scored the winning goal as England beat Germany in the 2022 Euros final, was also heard saying after lifting the trophy: "The first time was so nice, we had to do it twice!" Kelly had a rollercoaster season at club level, having been frozen out at Manchester City. She joined Arsenal on loan in January and helped the Gunners win their first ever Champions League before securing a permanent transfer earlier this month. "There were a lot of tears at full-time, especially when I saw my family because those are the ones who got me through those dark moments," Kelly said after Sunday's final. "I am so grateful to be out the back end. If that's a story to tell someone that maybe experiencing something the same - tough times don't last. "Just around the corner was a Champions League final, won that, and now a Euros final, won that. So, thank you to everyone that wrote me off. I'm grateful."
