Teen goes viral after bringing 200 tortillas on flight from Texas: ‘Just went on through'
Nashville resident Anna Jones recently boarded a flight from Austin to Tennessee with an unconventional cargo: She had over 200 flour tortillas from H-E-B with her.
Jones recorded other people boarding the plane, then confessed her secret to the internet in a video on June 14.
'All these people and no one knows I have 200 H-E-B tortillas in my backpack,' Jones wrote on TikTok.
Fox News Digital reached out to Jones for more details.
Jones revealed to USA Today that hauling tortillas long-distance is something of a family tradition.
The last time she visited her dad in Texas, he bought as many as 300 tortillas for her to bring home, Jones said.

'We bring them home, and we can freeze them, and we just use them until they run out,' the teen said.
'They normally last about two months.'
She also noted that Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agents didn't give her a hard time with her flatbread-filled backpack.

'I just went on through,' Jones told USA Today.
She added, 'Nothing happened. It was pretty obvious that it was tortillas. This is kind of normal for them, I guess.'
Some Texans on TikTok couldn't resist poking fun at Jones' video, which has been viewed more than 668,000 times as of July 7.

One Lone Star State resident asked, 'Are YOU the reason why there's never any left at the store?!?'
'They better be the butter ones,' another said.
It turns out that Jones isn't the only H-E-B fan who's gone to great lengths to travel with Texas tortillas.
'I flew with H-E-B tortillas and H-E-B goods from San Antonio to Amsterdam, then drove them to Belgium,' one person said.
4 'We bring them home, and we can freeze them, and we just use them until they run out,' the teen said.

'Tortillas [are] in my carry-on from San Antonio to Japan & the Philippines,' a third user wrote.
H-E-B is a Texas-based supermarket chain with over 400 locations in the Lone Star State and Mexico.
What makes H-E-B tortillas so good?
The supermarket chain did not respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment — leaving the ingredients behind the tortillas' popularity a mystery.

Lucid Shatters World Record With 749-Mile Drive On A Single Charge
The widespread adoption of electric vehicles has long been hindered by a two-headed dragon: the lack of public charging infrastructure and the typical driver's range anxiety. These obstacles push automakers to find ways to improve range and show off their progress. A Lucid Air Grand Touring took the Guinness World Record for the longest trip in an EV on a single charge last weekend. The luxury sedan completed an impressive 749-mile journey between St. Moritz, Switzerland and Munich, Germany, shattering the previous record by nearly 100 miles. Behind the wheel of the Lucid was Umit Sabanci, a London-based entrepreneur who has the eccentric hobby of breaking Guinness World Records. In 2017, Sabanci set the record for visiting the most countries in 24 hours by scheduled transportation. He and a friend darted to 13 countries across Europe. In 2022, he completed the fastest circumnavigation of the Earth by scheduled flights. Sabanci flew a three-flight itinerary from and to Los Angeles International Airport in 46 hours and 23 minutes via Doha, Qatar and Brisbane, Australia. Sabanci previously worked with Lucid. He broke the record driving to the most countries on a single charge in June 2024. The vanity record breaker drove 567 miles southward through the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein and Italy. In a statement regarding the single-charge distance record, he said: "When I completed the nine-country journey in 2024, it was just the beginning. This new achievement takes that journey even further. I'm proud to be part of a movement that proves electric mobility isn't just the future; it's already redefining what's possible today." The California-based manufacturer likely provided the modifications and expertise necessary to extend the drive far beyond the Lucid Air Grand Touring's EPA-estimated range of 516 miles. Lucid has stripped the record from a privately run Mercedes-Benz EQS 450+. The previous record of 645 miles was set just last month and broke the symbolic 1,000-kilometer barrier. One can only hope that competition for bragging rights between manufacturers will drive the record even further out and lead to technology that will become standard across all EVs. It's hard to believe that we're only three years removed from Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX's unveiling. The German automaker built a hyper-efficient electric concept car to prove that an electric vehicle could have 1,000 kilometers of range. However, the one-off car was designed as a bland, blobby teardrop to minimize drag, taking function over form to the extreme. Now, we're seeing typically styled electric cars blasting past the 1,000-km mark. Country singer Pat Green's family members missing in deadly central Texas floods
Country singer Pat Green has revealed that members of his family are among the missing in the floods that hit central Texas over the last week, calling it a "heartbreaking and deeply personal loss." "We are grieving alongside countless Texans whose lives have been upended by this tragedy," he wrote on Instagram on Monday. "Right now, we kindly ask for privacy and space as we mourn, support each other, and begin to process what comes next for our family." Green's wife, Kori Green, added that the "I Love Texas" singer's younger brother "John, his wife, Julia, and two of their children were swept away in the Kerrville flood. We are heartbroken and anxiously waiting for all of them to be found. Thank you for your prayers."
