Diogo Jota's hometown club pays stunning tribute with new kit
The football world is still recovering from the death of Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva after a car crash just over a month ago in Northern Spain. The former Liverpool forward was just weeks removed from winning the UEFA Nations League with Portugal and only days after marrying his long-term partner, with whom he shared three children. Countless tributes have poured in for the forward, including from Liverpool FC themselves. Just over a month on, his hometown club back in Portugal have announced how they're remembering Jota and his brother. Silva actually returned to play for the first team at Gondomar from 2021 until 2023 when he moved to Penafiel.
