Classic American luxury meets contemporary styling in the 2026 Lincoln Corsair. This luxury SUV distills Lincoln's brand identity into a compact package, but its shortcomings hold it back from leading its highly competitive class.
The Corsair has a hushed, comfortable cabin that especially coddles front-row passengers with upscale features. Its powertrains are smooth and refined, whether you opt for the gas-only options or the PHEV.
We've found the standard suspension to be underdamped around town, but well-suited to the open road. The available adaptive dampers provide better body control with ride quality that's still on the soft side. These traits, combined with the Corsair's available BlueCruise hands-free driving system, make for sublime highway cruising.
Lincoln has designed one of the best-looking compact luxury SUVs, and the Corsair's interior styling matches the exterior's elegance. However, not all the materials are as premium as we expect from vehicles in this segment. The back seats are also much firmer than the front-row chairs, with far less opulent furnishings than what's present up front. Lackluster infotainment processing speeds round out our complaints.
Lincoln differentiates the Corsair from its rivals by eschewing outright sportiness in favor of comfort-oriented tuning and overall pleasant driving manners. Strong standard features and compelling pricing deepen the 2026 Corsair's value proposition.

A 2.0-liter turbo-four engine developing 250 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque powers all gas-only versions of the 2026 Lincoln Corsair. An eight-speed automatic transmission and FWD are standard, with AWD available.
When equipped with AWD, the Corsair accelerates from 0–60 mph in 6.6 seconds based on our test results. That should be quick enough for most folks, but the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC300 gets the job done in just 5.6 seconds with its mild-hybrid 2.0-liter turbo.
Upgrading to Grand Touring trim nets an eAWD plug-in hybrid setup consisting of a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter I-4 engine and permanent magnet synchronous motor to drive the front wheels via a CVT, with another permanent magnet motor attached to a single-speed automatic transmission to drive the rear wheels.
Output totals 266 hp, good for a 0–60 mph sprint of 6.3 seconds according to our testing. A Lexus NX450h+ plug-in hybrid is a dash quicker, needing just 5.5 seconds to accelerate from 0–60 mph. MPGs, Range, and Charging
Each of the 2026 Lincoln Corsair's powertrains returns different fuel economy and range figures. The gas-only FWD variant is good for 22/30 mpg city/highway and 405 miles of range. Adding AWD drops those numbers to 21/28 mpg and 389 miles of range. For comparison, the quicker 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC300 returns 23/31 mpg with AWD and can drive 452 miles on a single tank.
The Corsair Grand Touring PHEV ican drive 27 miles on electricity alone thanks to its 14.4-kWh battery. Total driving range is 450 miles. The Lexus NX450h+ plug-in hybrid can travel 37 miles exclusively using electricity and 550 miles on a full charge and tank of gas. Safety Ratings and Features
IIHS grants the 2025 Lincoln Corsair top-tier Good ratings for all crashworthiness categories except the new side crash test, where it scores a second-lowest score of Marginal. Headlight performance is rated Acceptable with the Technology or Elements Technology packages but receives the worst possible score of Poor for base, Reserve, and Grand Touring trims.

Infotainment
Based on specs alone, the 2026 Lincoln Corsair's standard equipment impresses. All models receive a 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen with built-in navigation supplemented by wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. We wish the system offered quicker responses, but have no complaints on the size.
That central display is paired with a 12.3-inch driver display. Lincoln puts two USB ports in the front row, but there's only one charge port in the rear. A wireless charger is available.
Sound System
A nine-speaker audio system is standard, and a 14-speaker premium arrangement from Revel is optionally available. Every time you start the Corsair, Lincoln's Symphonic Chimes play, with audio cues recorded by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Various non-critical functions get their own chimes.
Available Upgrades
A 360-degree camera for high-precision parking maneuvers is available. Lincoln also offers its Star Light Metallic Appliqué, which decorates the dash with a backlit pattern evoking the night sky. Value
Standard Features
The entry-level 2026 Lincoln Corsair Premier trim includes 18-inch wheels, dual exhaust with polished tips, LED headlights with signature accents, LED taillights, a power liftgate, and intermittent windshield wipers.
In the cabin, Lincoln outfits dual-zone climate control, pushbutton start, one-touch window switches front and rear, heated front seats, and a sliding second row. Lincoln's Active Noise Control and an acoustic laminated windshield help keep the interior quiet.
Recommended Trim
The 2026 Lincoln Corsair is offered in Premiere, Reserve, and Grand Touring trims. We suggest sticking with the gas-only powertrain; the Grand Touring's engine gets loud when called upon for hard acceleration.
