Saudi Arabia Condemns Israel's Resumption of Aggression against Gaza
Saudi Arabia has condemned Israel's wave of deadly strikes on Gaza early Tuesday and its violation of the international humanitarian law, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denounced Israel's abruption of ceasefire deal with Hamas that came into effect on January 19, 2025.
According to the ministry's statement, the Kingdom emphasized the importance of an immediate end to Israel's violence and destruction.
The Kingdom also stressed the significance of protecting the Palestinian civilians from the Israeli aggression. Israel's Resumption of Aggression against Gaza
Netanyahu's office issued a statement saying that the strikes follow 'Hamas' repeated refusal to release the Israeli hostages, as well as its rejection of all of the proposals it has received from US Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff and from the mediators.'
Today's extensive strikes have killed at least 400 Palestinians, mostly women and children, with Israel saying that the operation is open-ended and expected to expand.
The Kingdom's statement called the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and immediately put an end to Israel's crimes and the Palestinian people's sufferings.

Gaza civil defense says Israeli forces kill 23
Gaza's civil defense agency said Israeli forces killed at least 23 people in the war-stricken territory on Saturday, including at least three children who died when a house was struck. 'At least 23 dead and dozens of wounded were taken (to hospitals) after Israeli firing and raids' across Gaza, civil defense spokesman Mahmud Bassal told AFP. Among the casualties were three children who were killed in an air strike on a home in Jabalia, northern Gaza. AFP video footage from Gaza City showed relatives weeping over the bodies of children killed in nearby Jabalia. Bassal said the children were among 21 people killed in six air strikes by drones and planes across the territory. He said two other people were killed by Israeli fire while waiting for food aid in the Netzarim zone in central Gaza. The Israeli military did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Israeli restrictions on media in the Gaza Strip and difficulties in accessing some areas mean AFP is unable to independently verify the tolls and details provided by rescuers and witnesses. Iran holds state funeral for slain military commanders and scientists
TEHRAN — Iran held a state funeral on Saturday for dozens of senior military commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians killed during the 12-day war with Israel, which ended earlier this week in a US-brokered ceasefire.
