Are Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ram Charan collaborating on a new film? Here is what we know
Director
Sandeep Reddy Vanga
is currently working on his upcoming film 'Spirit' with
Prabhas
, and might soon be teaming up with another big Tollywood star. According to the latest reports,
Ram Charan
is said to be in talks with the 'Animal' director for a new film.
As per a report by Gulte, this may just be the long-awaited collab between the two that was first mentioned during the making of '
Arjun Reddy
', when Vanga committed to doing a film with the UV production house. Now, the project might finally take shape, with the production team reportedly keen to cast the 'RRR' star in the lead. The report also suggests that Charan shares a close friendship with the production house's Vikram, and also director Sandeep, which is helping propel the ongoing discussions.
However, it is imperative to mention that nothing has been officially confirmed.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga known for his controversial yet intense and emotionally charged storytelling has already announced two upcoming films which include, 'Spirit' and 'Animal Park'. While Spirit is expected to soon begin production with Prabhas, 'Animal Park', a sequel to the 2023 blockbuster 'Animal', will be delayed due to Ranbir Kapoor's packed schedule.
The actor is presently tied up with Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love & War', which would give the director time to work on his other projects in the meantime.
This gap between 'Spirit' and 'Animal Park' has opened the door for the new venture with Charan.
Meanwhile, the actor is now working on his upcoming movie, 'Peddi' which is a rural sports drama film, directed by Buchi Babu Sana of 'Uppena' fame. The movie stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and also stars Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar and 'Mirzapur' fame Divyenndu.
