Boots cuts 'intoxicating' luxury perfume that 'literally turns heads' to its lowest price
For over two decades, one perfume that has earned legendary status is YSL's Black Opium. Launched in 2014, its popularity means it is constantly being reimagined.
One of the latest interpretations is the YSL Black Opium Le Parfum that offers a more vanilla-heavy fragrance that has been hailed as "intoxicating" in reviews, and we know where it can currently be bought for its cheapest price.
High street favourite Boots is currently offering a 50ml bottle for half-price, as it has been reduced from £115 to just £57.50. Considering rival retailers Superdrug, Lookfantastic and The Perfume Shop still stock it at full-price, it's a deal not to be sniffed at.
This interpretation of the iconic perfume was only launched in 2022, with its original floral gourmand fragrance still offering its famed notes that include pear accord, green mandarin, orange flower petals, jasmine sambac and cinnamon.
However, the iconic coffee accord has been twisted with four different, yet still complimentary, notes of vanilla, which is said to be its most important ingredient, to create an "unexpected smoothness, with uncompromising intensity."

Another iconic scent on the market to get a new reiteration recently is Thierry Mugler's Alien, with the Hypersense Eau de Parfum described as "fiercely floral", with a 30ml costing £69 at The Perfume Shop.
There's also Christian Dior's Hypnotic Poison that has become a cult-classic in its own right, being one of its most popular interpretations for the original fragrance, and a 30ml costs £66 on Lookfantastic.
As for the YSL Black Opium Le Parfum, Boots shoppers wanting to take advantage of the half-price discount will be glad to hear it has amassed a 4.7 rating from thousands of customers who say it "lasts all day" and "literally turns heads" when it is worn.

One five-star review read: "I love the fragrance. I used a lot the first time, not realising how intense it was. It lasts all day and continues to smell great. I literally turn heads when I wear it."
A second pleased perfume fan wrote: "Intoxicating fragrance. It has a sort of dark and mysterious elegance to it. I get so many compliments and it lasts all day."
A fan of the original Black Opium remarked: "The original has always been my Queen. Never thought it could be beat - but the extra sweetness of vanilla add a whole new level to the iconic OG. Love this more than I could say. My new everyday scent."
Beauty deal of the week
Looking to upgrade your straighteners, then look no further than this Amazon deal we have spotted.
The Remington Advanced Coconut Therapy Hair Straightener, which has been hailed as "better than ghd", is now on offer for a staggering 75 percent less, as it is has been dropped from £139.99 to just £34.90.
To help keep hair soft and shiny with each use, the floating ceramic plates feature micro-conditioners that have been infused with coconut oil and UV filters, keeping tresses protected from any frizz caused by too much heat.
Its salon-style design means it comes complete with an ultra-fast 15-second heat up time and five digital temperature controls up to 230C, while the rounded barrel design with a swivel cord makes it easy to create either a sleek straight or bouncy curls look.
There's also an integrated sensor that kicks in when the plates come into contact with the hair, ensuring they never overheat, while plate lock and auto-shut off function offers peace of mind and safety.
Considering Remington's status for hair tools, it's no surprise to hear that this coconut-infused straightener has been singled out as an 'Amazon Choice' product, with a glowing 4.4 rating based on over 1,000 reviews from happy purchasers.
One beauty fan praised: "Better than ghds. What can I say I have used GHDs for the last 20 years? My last pair broke yesterday so after some research I thought I would try these Remington's.
"I can't believe how straight my hair is gone, not even my GHD's got it this straight. Amazing straighteners on would recommend to anybody, I have thick course hair and look how smooth it looks."
Some have found the perfume to be a little too strong for them, as one three-star review read: "This bottle is beautiful and the packaging is nice but I cannot say I am a fan of the scent. It's super strong and overbearing. I wanted to love it but sadly it's not for me."
Although, another delighted customer said: "This fragrance is the best! My gf loves it and it lasts all day long! This is her go to fragrance! It is not too overpowering but lingers for all day wear!"
And someone else added: "Smells amazing! The notes of coffee, vanilla bourbon, and jasmine smell so sexy and sophisticated. You'll have all heads turning to you wearing this!"
Don't miss Boots' half-price discount on the YSL Black Opium Le Parfum (50ml) that is now £57.50, down from £115.

Top 3 beauty products every woman should be using Hayley Walker, Beauty Expert at Justmylook shared the holy-grail products every woman needs to be using. A cleanser, SPF, and hair oil are must-haves within beauty routines. A cleanser is crucial for healthy skin as it removes dirt, oil, and other impurities for flawless skin. This skincare step not only cleanses the face and removes dirt, but also prevents breakouts and premature skin ageing, helping you maintain a healthy, youthful, and blemish-free complexion. The Aveeno Face Calm+ Restore Nourishing Oat Cleanser is a go-to of mine due to its gentle formula that soothes and restores the skin's appearance and texture. SPF is non-negotiable and should be in everyone's daily skincare routine. Even on cooler, cloudier days, our skin is exposed to the sun's UV rays which can be harmful to unprotected skin and even lead to damage. These damages include sunburn, pigmentation changes, and wrinkles which can impact the skin's texture and appearance. In some cases, prolonged exposure to UV rays can cause skin cancer. Applying SPF daily prevents these damages and protects the skin from harmful rays. I recommend the Beauty Of Joseon Rice & Prebiotic Sunscreen PA++++ SPF50+ for its lightweight, non-clumping texture that absorbs quickly for a natural finish and maximum protection. Hair oil has many benefits and should be regularly used. This treatment can strengthen and protect the hair from external stressors while improving its appearance and shine. Regularly applying hair oil can also reduce breakage and even encourage hair growth for longer, fuller locks. Hair oils also target the scalp, reducing dandruff and improving its health through exfoliation. I recommend using this deeply nourishing treatment a couple of times a week or more depending on the hair's moisture levels. The Hair Syrup Rapunzel Pre-Wash Oil Treatment is a nutrient-rich treatment that revitalises strands to promote a happy scalp and healthy-looking locks. Apply the syrup throughout damp hair before washing; massage from root to tip and allow the formula to penetrate strands before rinsing and styling.

71-year-old 'looks forward' to anti-ageing treatment that's like a '£221 spa facial'
The celebrity-loved brand is offering a free gift when shoppers buy the LYMA Laser or Laser PRO When it comes to anti-ageing treatment, there are multiple options, ideas and solutions out there, but it can be hard to know what actually works. While laser is usually identified with hair removal, it can also be used to make skin look younger by triggering central cells in the skin - and now there's a great deal on an anti-aging laser treatment that's loved by celebrities. LYMA - which is loved by stars including Miranda Kerr, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Naomie Harris - is offering a free month LYMA Supplement starter kit worth £199 when shoppers purchase either the LYMA Laser for £1,999 or LASER Pro for £4,995. This kit is said to bring together the brand's two core innovations: laser technology, and next-gen supplementation that offers skin support on the surface and cellur support from within. The offer ends August 15th. The LYMA Laser is a cold laser engineered to make shoppers skin look younger as it triggers a genetic switch inside each cell. By doing this, skin may have wrinkles improved, sagging reversed and pigmentation faded, according to the brand. By using the product three minutes per day, shoppers should see results within as quick as 30 days - plus, it is said to be painless to use. The LYMA Laser Pro is a level up as it is said to triple the power of the normal LYMA Laser with a bigger lens and faster results. It is also painless, portable and is optimised for all skin tones. It can be used over makeup, SPF and on to go, as both tools are cordless. The free LYMA Supplement gift is made up of eleven ingredients such as turmeric extract, prebiotic beta glucans, plant based vitamin D, stable vitamin K, ashwagandha extract and more, which are said to help with sleep, stress and skin. Shoppers simply need to take four capsules per day with water. Usually priced at £199, it's now free when one of the other lasers are bought. Shoppers can get a free gift when they purchase either the LYMA Laser or LASER Pro Free LYMA Buy here Product Description If this isn't the one for everyone, there are other options such as the STYLPRO Pure Red LED Light Therapy Facial Device for £99 from Argos which targets deep into the skin and is said to help promote smoother, firmer and brighter skin. Another option is the Sensee Professional LED Light Therapy Face Mask Pink for £139.99 from Boots which helps brighten, tighten, purify, clarify and reverse signs of aging naturally. The LYMA products have been rated highly on their website, however. One shopper said: "Expensive but I think it's making a difference and will hopefully cut the cost of going for facials." Another reviewer wrote: "I've been using the laser for ~6 weeks, once a day. While it is a hefty time commitment, I feel like I'm getting a $300 (£221) spa facial every day. It's fairy easy to work into my routine, simple and painless to use, doubles as a fancy gua sha tool and leaves my skin glowing." "Though I haven't finished the full three months, I am seeing positive results on my 71 year old skin: nice how smoother texture, lessening fine lines and maybe some reduction in my deep wrinkles," said another. "Have trouble using it everyday, but usually do 5-6 times a week. Must say, I do find some treatment very relaxing and something I look forward to doing. Planning to splurge on Pro version - cutting the treatment time will help me to be more consistent. Thanks for great product and very responsive customer service." Others did have their reservations however as one person said about the supplement: "Did have only one negative only once, I received a package that had one of the capsules opened and it stained everywhere it touched and bled through the container that I have from LYMA onto my white marble nightstand."
