Once draft season is in full swing, one of the most popular football websites around is Pro Football Focus' Mock Draft Simulator. There, fans spend hours crafting mock drafts, either for their team or the league as a whole.

On Monday, PFF released a list of each team's most-selected player, generally who their most popular selection is in the first round. For the Green Bay Packers, it's defensive end James Pearce Jr. of Tennesse, who reportedly took a pre-draft visit with the team.
Here's what PFF has to say about the pass-rusher:
Pearce is the kind of athlete with the production and disruption scores you don't let out of the first round. His twitchy movements show difference-making NFL traits that can be situational at worst and All-Pro at best.
The Packers could clearly use an extra pass-rusher going into 2025, considering that they haven't added anyone to their room. While they've made a coaching change on the defensive line, firing Jason Rebrovich to hire DeMarcus Covington, they still return Rashan Gary, Kingsley Enagbare, Lukas Van Ness and Brenton Cox Jr. as their two-deep this season.
If you're hoping that Green Bay is locked into Pearce, though, here's some bad news: Pearce was also the most-drafted prospect for five other teams on the mock draft simulator. Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks and Washington Commanders fans apparently think they're in a good position to select the SEC defender, too. So maybe don't count your chickens before they hatch.

LeBron James' wife pushing him to ‘f–king retire' next year after he re-ups with Lakers
Savannah James is urging LeBron to retire. The Lakers superstar exercised his $52.6 million option for 2025-26, bypassing free agency to return to Los Angeles for his 23rd NBA season. The 2003 No.1 overall pick revealed this during a dinner outing in New York with his wife, Savannah, Miami Heat and former Cleveland Cavaliers big man Kevin Love and his wife, Kate, among others. One of the dinners guests posted a snippet on Instagram of the conversation where James can be heard saying, 'Savannah wants me to f–king retire in the next year or so.' His agent, Rich Paul, told ESPN that while LeBron 'appreciates the partnership' with the Lakers, he 'values a realistic chance of winning it all' and will be closely monitoring the team's offseason moves. Variety via Getty Images At 40 years old, turning 41 this coming December, James continues to perform at a star level, especially on offense. James ended year 22 averaging 24.4 points, 8.2 assists, and 7.8 rebounds. Despite his on-court production, the Lakers were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Minnesota Timberwolves, who later reached the Western Conference finals before losing to the eventual champion Oklahoma City Thunder. Getty Images Paul offered further insight into the possibility of retirement, which will continue to hang over James every season now that he's in his 40s. 'We want to evaluate what's best for LeBron at this stage in his life and career,' Paul told ESPN. 'He wants to make every season he has left count, and the Lakers understand that, are supportive and want what's best for him.' The Lakers, who made the major deal with the Mavericks for Luka Dončić this past season, are still attempting to compete in the West, but it's unclear if they'll be championship-level good for this coming year.

Steelers' Cameron Heyward Showing No Signs of Slowing Down
Steelers' Cameron Heyward Showing No Signs of Slowing Down originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Cameron Heyward has been with the Pittsburgh Steelers for a lengthy 14 seasons. But despite his advancing age, he is still showing no signs that it is having any effect on him. Advertisement In a recent article by PFF's Ryan Smith, he puts together a list of 10 NFL veterans who are still competing at a very high level, and one of the players he mentions is the star defensive lineman for the AFC North team. "Heyward is yet another player on this list who is a lock for the Hall of Fame, trailing only Chris Jones in PFF overall grade among interior defenders last season," Smith wrote. "The five-time All-Pro is a big reason why the Steelers top PFF's list of the best defensive lines in the NFL heading into the 2025 season. His presence will be especially valuable for Derrick Harmon, the Steelers' first-round pick in this year's draft." Heyward recently turned 36 years old, but he has been defying Father Time over the past several seasons. In 2024, the star defensive lineman racked up eight sacks, 71 total tackles, and 20 quarterback hits. He was also able to display his ability to bat down passes at the line with 11 pass deflections this past season. Advertisement The Steelers have made the playoffs each of the last two seasons, so Heyward and the rest of the team's defense will be looking to help lead the team back to the postseason for the third season in a row.
