Helen Flanagan reveals secrets behind 'confidence' after cosmetic surgery
Helen Flanagan admits she feels more confident after having her breasts surgically enhanced. The former Coronation Street actress is no stranger when it comes to showcasing her gym-honed physique on social media and posing in lingerie and swimsuits, but after having three children, Helen admits that her body has changed.
In recent years, the 34-year-old who this week celebrates her birthday has spoken openly about her body, but after feeling like a "shadow of her former self," she made the decision to go under the knife, and is now feeling better than ever.
However, a breast enhancement isn't the only surgery Helen has undergone in the past; it was previously claimed that the actress who found fame playing Rosie Webster on the ITV soap opera had undergone a nose job due to relentless trolling while she was in school. It comes after Helen opened up about the real reason she was selling her £1million home after claims she was broke.
"After pregnancy and breastfeeding for three years, my boobs changed so much," Helen said about her boob job and transformation. She went on to add: "I think it's because I was quite big and bust before, it meant that they just sagged, I can't think of a better way to say it. This change affected my confidence, and I knew I wanted to do something about it."
Helen turned to Mr Ussain, a Consultant Breast Oncoplastic and Aesthetic Surgeon at Pall Mall Cosmetic's clinic in Manchester, and had a free consultation to discuss her options. She's one of a long list of famous faces, including Kerry Katona and Real Housewives of Cheshire star, Tanya Bardsley, who have turned to Pall Mall for their expertise.
She continued: "I'd heard amazing things from lots of other mum friends who have had boob jobs at Pall Mall Cosmetics. I went with Mr Hussain, he's such a lovely man.
"I went for many consultations with lots of providers because I was really nervous, but ultimately I felt at ease with Mr Hussain and the team." In January of 2023, Helen underwent breast augmentation using 340cc Motiva implants, with dual plane placement, meaning they went under and over the breast muscle, to give more volume and a more natural shape.
Speaking of her results, she said: "I couldn't be happier with my results, I love them. I am all for body confidence, empowering other women and supporting other women in their decisions that they decide to make."
Helen was also up and about rapidly after her surgery. She said: "I was back on my feet before I knew it. I think it's because I opted for 50/50 under and over the muscle. I wanted supernatural results, just for them to be perk again, and that's what I got."
But while some people frown over cosmetic enhancements and tweakments, the actress isn't paying any attention to people who disagree with her decision. She commented: "I am all for body confidence… and supporting other women in their decisions that they decide to make."
It comes after Helen opened up about life as a single mum following her split from Robbie Talbot, and how she and her ex, Scott Sinclair, are co-parenting their children. "I'm concentrating on the kids, work, moving house and being with my friends," she told the Mirror.
Reflecting on her life while co-parenting, she said: "But on the whole, we can actually be in the same room together. He's the father of my children; I was with him since I was 19 and I'm always going to have love for him – but it doesn't mean we want to be together. I don't have any bad feelings towards Scott, though sometimes he drives me absolutely mad."

Coronation Street to welcome new family who will run Rovers Return
Catherine Tyldesley's character Eva Price, who was last seen on the show in 2018, will return alongside her latest partner and his mother, who are both new to the cobbles. Shameless actor Aaron McCusker stars as Eva's partner Ben Driscoll, with Father Ted's Pauline McLynn playing his interfering mother Maggie. Ben's two sons and Eva's daughter Suzie will also be joining the cast. Residents will discover that Eva and Ben are the new landlords in October, more than seven years after Eva stopped pulling pints to start a new life in France with her daughter. Coronation Street producer Kate Brooks said: 'We are beyond thrilled that Eva is returning as the landlady of the Rovers, with her new blended family in tow. 'The Driscolls do not arrive quietly, so expect big drama, explosive secrets and raucous knees ups galore. To have actors of Catherine, Aaron and Pauline's considerable calibre at the beating heart of this family is absolutely wonderful, and we can't wait for you to get to know and fall in love with them as much as we have already done. 'Strap yourselves in, it's going to be an exciting and eventful ride.' A host of stars have left the British soap this year including Sue Cleaver, who spent 25 years playing Eileen Grimshaw. Among the others who have left are Colson Smith, who played Craig Tinker on the ITV soap opera, and Luca Toolan, who played Mason Radcliffe.

Katie Price left feeling 'isolated and disregarded amid growing rift with daughter Princess and admits she feels like Brooklyn Beckham'
Katie Price has reportedly been left feeling 'isolated and disregarded' amid a growing rift with her daughter Princess. The former glamour model, 46, was banned from appearing on the 18-year-olds fly-on-the-wall ITV television series which aired this week. And now The Sun had revealed their relationship is strained after Princess was told to distance herself from Katie. The star has reportedly even gone as far as to liken her feeling with those of Brooklyn Beckham amid the bitter feud between himself and wife Nicola Peltz and the rest of his family. A source told the publication: 'Katie feels isolated and disregarded. She loves Princess so much and is supremely proud of the young woman she is becoming.' The TV star was hoping to help Princess in her budding TV career and support her in her journey to fame, however ITV2 executives have reportedly made it clear they don't want Katie involved. They continued: 'Princess told her mum that she needed to distance herself publicly and yet chats to her all the time behind closed doors.' Amid the personal/professional divide forming in their relationship they added: 'She feels a bit like Brooklyn Beckham, with no one in the Andre family really speaking to her.' Daily Mail have contacted Katie and Princess' representatives for comment. Katie previously hit out on Instagram after she was banned from her daughter Princess' 18th birthday celebrations. One post showed a sky full of pink clouds with words reading 'I love my daughters' while another read 'my daughters will always be my little princesses' written in the sand. Daily Mail revealed that Katie was unable to attend Princess' celebrations because the event was being filmed for her forthcoming fly-on-the-wall ITV television series - which Katie has been banned from appearing on. Katie also had an awkward gaffe after she was forced to delete her 18th birthday tribute to Princess on Friday - having shared it 48 hours too early. Princess' television show focuses on her home life with her father Peter, his wife Emily and big brother Junior, as well as her career as an influencer, and is being made by Pete's management company, Can Associates. The star has reportedly even gone as far as to liken her feeling with those of Brooklyn Beckham amid the bitter feud between himself and wife Nicola Peltz and the rest of his family Meanwhile Princess has revealed she 'wished she had a happier childhood' as she opened up about the 'dark times' she faced while growing up in her documentary The firm memorably looked after Katie when she was with Pete from 2003 until 2009, the year they sensationally split. But this week, Katie blasted 'people who used to look after me', believed to be referring to Peter Andre 's management company, on the latest episode of her Katie Price Show podcast. Katie said: 'Princess is now officially an adult so mummy and Princess can now go out together. If certain people would let her be seen with me.' Sophie said: 'I noticed in her 18th birthday pictures she was wearing the shoes you bought her for Christmas,' with Katie replying: 'Oh did she? I love that.' Katie added: 'Everyone knows she's doing this documentary - and I'm not in it. Certain people don't think it's good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me.' Meanwhile Princess has revealed she 'wished she had a happier childhood' as she opened up about the 'dark times' she faced while growing up in her documentary. The rising star addressed the traumatic memories during her childhood, including her mum's high-profile breakups. She candidly admitted: 'I did have a counsellor, I do still see her every now and then. 'But I don't feel like I can really talk, so I just write everything down in my notes. 'I do wish, like, I could have had a more happier childhood. In the sense of like, I had so many things on my plate at a young age.'
