Penn State's Dylan Lugris Signs In France

Penn State forward Dylan Lugris has signed a one-year deal in France with Cergy-Pontoise, it was announced late last week.
Lugris, who recently wrapped up his senior season with the Nittany Lions, got into 34 games this year, scoring four goals and adding eight assists for 12 points. Over a total of 95 career NCAA games, Ludris collected 16 goals and 17 assists for 33 points.

A product of Buffalo, N.Y., Ludris spent parts of two seasons with the NCDC's Jersey Hitmen before heading off to the NCAA, accumulating 75 points in 69 games.
With Ludris off to play in Ligue Magnus, he will be testing his talents in France's top pro league. Having played a solid depth role for Penn State this past season, look for Ludris to be a contributor for the Jokers.

The 28-year-old played the full 100 minutes, including the draining extra-time, as the giants of French rugby held off Bordeaux-Begles 39-33 in dramatic fashion to claim a third straight French crown. "But he was a realist. "He knows that there's a lot of competition in that back row and he's not playing international rugby. They lost to Argentina in Dublin last week before hammering the Western Force, their first game on Australian soil, 54-7 hours before Kinghorn lifted the 133-year-old Bouclier Shield (Bouclier de Brennus). "It's always tough coming together," Kinghorn said. "Everyone expects you to be like a great team from the get-go, but you don't have those connections. "So it's good to see that they bounced back and got a great win," the former Edinburgh full-back added. Kinghorn arrives in Australia on Monday after a flight from Paris, a luxury three of his compatriots would only dream of. Advertisement His fellow former Edinburgh Academicals players in the three Maclean brothers, Lachlan, Ewan and Jamie, are rowing 9,000 miles (14,480km) across the Pacific Ocean to Australia to raise money for clean water projects. "It's nuts what they're doing," Kinghorn said. "They're sleeping 90 minutes getting up and rowing. "It's carnage. "They're hopefully going to try and make it for one of the games. Nassourdine Imavov isn't much of a trash talker, but it appears he's had enough of Caio Borralho. Borralho (17-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) has spent months calling out Imavov (16-4 MMA, 8-2 UFC) but was dismissed by the French fighter, who had his sights set on a title shot. Borralho even went as far as saying Dagestan would be ashamed of Imavov.
