Bihar shocker! Children remove nuts & bolts from ₹422-crore Patna flyover
The flyover was recently inaugurated by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Sharing the video on social media platform X, a user wrote: 'Patna's double-decker flyover was opened on June 11, and these kids are seen removing its nuts and bolts. A Serious Safety Hazard! They don't appear local, possibly Bangladeshi!'
The video drew reactions from several X users raising questions about the quality of bolts used.
A user commented: "What kind of nuts can be opened using only hands?"
"Really? Anyone can open it ? Wow .. well thought and built then," said another.
The double-deck bridge has been built in two layers (decks) above Ashok Rajpath, which starts from Kargil Chowk near Gandhi Maidan and goes to PMCH to the Science College.
On Jun 11 during the inauguration, the CM had said that the connectivity of this double-deck flyover with the fast-moving Patna Metro project will further strengthen the traffic management of the city.
The flyover was built by the Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation Limited for ₹ 422 crore, according to an official statement.
"After the inauguration, the CM inspected the double-decker flyover from Kargil Chowk to Science College and Science College to Kargil Chowk near Gandhi Maidan. He also inquired about its connectivity to the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH)," the statement said.

Patna: CM Nitish Kumar on Saturday inspected the site of the approved comprehensive development plan for the Shri Janki Janmabhoomi Mandir area at Punaura Dham in Sitamarhi district, widely believed to be the birthplace of Goddess Sita. Before reaching Punaura Dham, the CM inaugurated development projects worth around Rs 650 crore in Madhubani district. During the site visit, officials briefed Nitish on the facilities that will be created for devotees by the tourism department within the temple complex, preparations for the foundation stone laying ceremony on Aug 8 and the broader development plan for the Shri Janki Janmabhoomi Mandir area. A nine-member trust, headed by the state's chief secretary, has been formed for the construction and redevelopment of the Maa Janki Mandir at Punaura Dham. Earlier in the day, Nitish led a high-profile roadshow in Laukahi, Madhubani district, where he laid foundation stones for various infrastructure and tourism-related projects. The roadshow began at the helipad and concluded at the event venue. He also unveiled a statue of former Bihar minister, the late Hari Prasad Sah, and paid floral tribute. Among the key projects launched was an approach road including a road overbridge (ROB) at a cost of Rs 178 crore, located near the railway-level crossing between Khajauli and Jaynagar railway stations. Nitish also launched a project worth Rs 31 crore for the development of tourism infrastructure at Phulhar Sthan in Harlakhi.

CM to open Buddha museum on July 29
Patna: Buddha Samyak Darshan Museum-cum-Memorial Stupa in Vaishali district will be inaugurated by CM Nitish Kumar on July 29 when Buddhist monks from 15 countries, including China, Myanmar and Bangladesh, are likely to participate in the ceremony. The sacred relic of Lord Buddha will be installed on the first floor of the museum.

Bangladesh School Jet Crash Death Count Rises To 27, Dozens Still Critical
Dhaka: A Bangladesh air force training aircraft crashed into a school in the nation's capital Monday afternoon, killing the pilot and 26 other people, most of whom were students, officials said. The crash caused a fire that left the two-story building in Dhaka smoldering. Officials said 171 people, mostly students and many with burns, were rescued and taken from the scene in helicopters, ambulances, motorized rickshaws and in the arms of firefighters and parents. Twenty deaths were reported initially, and seven died of their injuries overnight, authorities said Tuesday morning. Doctors said late Monday that the condition of about two dozen injured remained critical. Twenty bodies have been handed over to their families. Some of the charred bodies were beyond recognition and they might need DNA tests for matching. A blood donation camp has been opened at a specialized burn hospital where most of the injured were being treated. The Chinese-made F-7 BGI training aircraft experienced a "technical malfunction" moments after takeoff at 1:06 p.m., and the pilot attempted to divert the plane to a less populated area before crashing into the campus of Milestone School and College, according to a statement from the military. But it remained unclear how the pilot died: whether he was inside the jet or ejected himself before it hit the building. The military did not provide any details on that. Many relatives waited overnight at a specialized burn hospital for bodies of their loved ones. Around midnight, Mohammed Abdur Rahim was looking for his cousin Afia Akter in a hospital. "We could not find my cousin. She is missing. Doctors here have asked us to go to other hospitals," he told The Associated Press. Students said the school's buildings trembled violently, followed by a big explosion that sent them running for safety. A desperate scene soon unfolded at the crash site, as panicked relatives searched for loved ones. Screams filled the air at a nearby hospital. The Milestone school is in Dhaka's Uttara neighborhood, about an 11-kilometer (7-mile) drive from the A.K. Khandaker air force base. The school is in a densely populated area near a metro station and numerous shops and homes. The pilot, Flight Lt. Mohammed Toukir Islam, made "every effort to divert the aircraft away from densely populated areas toward a more sparsely inhabited location," the military said, adding that it would investigate the cause of the crash. Local media said it was the pilot's solo flight as he was completing his training course. It is the deadliest plane crash in the Bangladeshi capital in recent memory. My wife called me, but I was praying so I could not pick up," Jewel, who goes by one name, said at the scene. "When I came here I saw there was a huge fire. There was a dead body of a child." Luckily, his daughter was safe, he said, but he saw many other children suffering from burns. Students also scrambled to see what had happened. "We fought with the crowd and the soldiers to get close to the crash site in our school," said Estiak Elahi Khan, who is in the 11th grade. "What I saw I can't describe that ... that's terrible." Doctors at Uttara Adhunik Hospital said more than 60 students, many between the ages of 12 and 16, were transferred to a special hospital for burn victims. By Monday evening, rescuers continued to scour the debris, searching for bodies. A crane was being used to remove debris.
