Reports: Ex-UCLA PG Dylan Andrews heading to Boise State
Former UCLA point guard Dylan Andrews is transferring to Boise State to continue his college career, according to reports.
Andrews, a two-year starter with the Bruins, had a tough junior season following a sophomore campaign in which he averaged 12.9 points and 3.7 assists. He averaged 35.2 minutes while starting 32 games in 2023-24.
But Andrews averaged just 6.9 points this past season and played just 24.8 minutes per game. He averaged 3.4 assists and started 29 of 32 games played.
Andrews entered the transfer portal last week. Just days later, UCLA landed Donovan Dent, the New Mexico star considered the top point guard in the portal.
Andrews, a former four-star recruit, should be able to step in and start for Boise State, which will lose starter Alvaro Cardenas from a squad that has reached the College Basketball Crown semifinals.

Saying he's "taking it to the next level." Agbo will take his perimeter shooting over to Las Vegas. He's best known for delivering back-to-back 20-point games in November. Agbo saw action in 45 total games but no starts. He transferred to Boise State for two more seasons starting in 2022-23. Agbo started in 33 games for both campaigns. He averaged 11.5 and 13.7 points per game in his two years with the Broncos. Agbo eventually transferred to USC and suited up for Eric Musselman. He went to earn a season-best average of 32.2 minutes per game. Agbo scored 11.8 PPG in his lone campaign for USC. He also shot 39.6% from the field. NBA Summer League games will be held July 10 to 20 inside the Thomas and Mack Center and Pavilion inside the UNLV campus. Round 2, Pick 51: C William Moore, US National Team Development Program With their first second-round selection — acquired as part of the Trent Frederic trade to Edmonton — the Bruins added a two-way forward who is set to join Hagens and several other Bruins prospects at Boston College in 2025-26. The 6-foot-2-inch Moore finished second on the US National Team last season with 59 points (27 goals, 32 assists) in 64 games — with his two-way acumen and hockey IQ leading to his projection as a middle-six forward in the NHL ranks. Round 3, Pick 79: LW Cooper Simpson, Shakopee High School (Minn.) Boston initially held the No. 69 pick in the third round, but traded the selection to Montreal in exchange for picks Nos. 79 and 108. It marked the first trade between Boston and Montreal since Feb. 21, 2001. With the first of those two picks from Montreal, the Bruins selected a skilled winger in Simpson who torched the high-school circuit in Minnesota this past season. The 6-1 winger led all Minnesota high school players this past year in goals with 49 in just 39 games (along with 83 points) with Shakopee High School. He also finished the 2024-25 season on a high note by scoring seven goals in nine games with the Tri-City Storm of the USHL. Blanar — who was born in Colorado but moved back to Czechia when he was four — posted 21 points (six goals, 15 assists) in 38 games with IF Troja-Ljungb in the J18 league this past season. Much like Pettersson, the Bruins are banking on Blanar's offensive upside, especially when matched with his frame. 'He's got a bit of an underdeveloped frame right now,' Sweeney said. 'A great skater, wants to compete. Probably trying to do too much at times.' Bruins sign pending RFA defenseman to two-year extension
The Bruins locked up one of their pending restricted free agents on Monday. Mason Lohrei and Boston agreed to a two-year extension with an annual $3.2 million salary cap hit, the team announced. The 24-year-old was set to become an RFA on July 1. Advertisement The young defenseman played 77 games for the Bruins in the 2024-25 season and tallied five goals with 28 assists. Lohrei showed good offensive instincts throughout the year, but struggled at times without the puck. He had an NHL-worst minus-43 in 2024-25. The two-year deal could prove whether he'll be a long-term investment for the Bruins. The promising defenseman took on more minutes early on after Hampus Lindholm went down in November with a knee injury. Charlie McAvoy also missed the second half of the year with an AC joint injury suffered during the NHL 4 Nations Face-Off. During the Bruins' end-of-season media availability, Lohrei revealed what he wanted to work on this summer, including wanting to be more explosive on his feet.
