From the Track to the Runway: The Rise of Grand Prix Fashion
Motorcore, speedwear, racer revival—call it what you will, but the look is unmistakable. Think leather jackets with aggressive shoulders, branded jumpsuits, wraparound sunglasses, and an abundance of zips and studs. The trend, which also favours leather mini-skirts, vintage sports tees, heavy chains, and fringed flourishes, has screeched its way from Dubai to Manhattan, Tokyo to Copenhagen, and even the runways of luxury fashion houses.
At the 2025 Spring Paris Fashion Week shows, Vaquera opened the runway with a racing tee emblazoned across the chest like a sponsor logo. Dior took the idea of sportswear to eveningwear, sending down the catwalk a riff on track trousers and moto-check jackets. Even the minimalists have been seduced: Jil Sander's collection showed in Milano whispered racer chic through precision tailoring and subtle nods to performance gear and moto jumpsuits.
This isn't just a passing fad—it's fast becoming big business. Saint Laurent released a belt unmistakably inspired by motorcycle hardware. TAG Heuer teamed up with streetwear giant Kith to relaunch a limited edition Formula 1-themed collection of watches and accessories, merging Swiss craftsmanship with circuit culture. And last year, Dior, whose ongoing flirtation with Formula One took a turn when they tapped none other than seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton—known for his iconic paddock fashion—to design a capsule collection that blends couture with motorsport-inspired elements co-created with Dior Men's former Artistic Director Kim Jones.
And just when fashion and F1 couldn't get any cozier, LVMH hit the accelerator. The luxury conglomerate was recently named the global sponsor of Formula One in a landmark ten-year deal set to begin with the Melbourne Grand Prix in March 2025. As part of the agreement, LVMH brands will curate hospitality experiences and create bespoke activations across the race calendar. Louis Vuitton—already responsible for the trunk that houses the Formula One trophy—will expand its involvement, alongside Moët Hennessy and TAG Heuer (a nod to its earlier tenure as F1's official timekeeper in the 1990s and early 2000s).
The blurred lines between fashion and Formula One are less of a trend and more of a merger, perfectly timed in an era where luxury seeks both edge and adrenaline. So whether you're more pit lane or Place Vendôme, buckle up—because Grand Prix fashion is here to stay.

The Best Wedding Hairstyles for 2025, According to Top Stylists
Forget cookie-cutter chignons and overly lacquered curls. Today's bridal hair is polished, expressive, and designed to feel like you. From glass-like shine to soft braids and undone updos, the modern bride wants a look that feels effortless yet elevated. Drawing on runway minimalism, nostalgic beauty icons, and the mood of destination celebrations, this season's styles are less about perfection, more about presence. Here we speak to four hair experts reimagining bridal hair for 2025 and beyond. Modern Muse with Limoz Logli at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab This season, bridal hair is all about embracing the elegance of simplicity, with soft waves or simple, pared-back updos that allow hair accessories to take centre stage. Whether it's a delicate headband, floral accents, or a sophisticated veil, these accessories enhance the overall look effortlessly. Inspired and beautifully paired with the sleek finishes at Loewe and the romantic sheerness seen at Erdem, this approach combines structure with softness. Book here Polished to Perfection with Maria Dowling at Al Meena Residence Summer 2025's bridal hair trends centre on one essential element: ultra-sleek, glass-like hair with an almost jelly-like shine that radiates health and polish. For the modern bride, condition is everything, so preparation is key. Invest early in a professional haircare routine and don't overlook in-salon treatments. My favourite is the Alterna bespoke luxury hair treatment, a personalised blend of eco-certified proteins and fatty acids that repairs damage, restores strength, and delivers that luminous finish every bride wants. The middle parting remains a go-to, whether styled into a demure ballerina bun, Sophia Richie's bridal look continues to inspire for its timeless elegance, or worn tucked behind the ears with subtle volume at the crown. Book here Botanical Beauty with Natalie at UNIK Studio Photo:I'm loving flower crowns for summer weddings, especially those that feel undone, natural, and organic, rather than overly structured or fixed in place. Think delicate blooms and soft greenery woven loosely through the hair, creating a romantic, effortless look that complements the season. This style works wonderfully with tousled waves, textured braids, or even a relaxed updo, and allows brides to channel a modern bohemian vibe without appearing too 'done'. It's a look that recalls the free-spirited elegance of Jane Birkin's iconic wedding flower crown to Ashley Tisdale's boho-chic outdoor bridal style and Solange Knowles' baby-breath moment. Book here A Classic, Reimagined with Hamza at Hamzafied Beauty Salon Photo:Classic and elegant brides never go out of style. In the 2025 to 2026 bridal season, we're seeing a strong resurgence of the timeless French twist, an iconic hairstyle that continues to define sophisticated bridal beauty. Beloved for its versatility, the French twist flatters all face shapes and complements a variety of partings, whether side, middle, or back. This elegant style gained legendary status through Hollywood and fashion icons like Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, and Brigitte Bardot, who famously wore variations of the French twist both on-screen and off. Today, it's been reimagined for brides who want to celebrate in style while embracing a look that remains timeless in every photo for years to come. Book here

'The Devil Wears Prada 2': Shooting, Cast, Release Date, Synopsis and Everything About the Most Awaited Sequel
It looked like it was one of those internet rumours that come and go from time to time, but nope. The Devil Wears Prada 2 is a reality and will be released much sooner than we imagined, just in time to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the 2006 film directed by David Frankel in which he adapted the novel of the same title by Lauren Weisberger that was a bestseller since its publication in 2003. In it, Weisberger narrated in the first person her experience as assistant to the editor-in-chief of one of the most important fashion magazines in the world, Runway . A sort of transcript of this magazine that served as a vehicle to uncover the vanities of the fashion world, but also to give the importance it deserves to an industry often branded as frivolous and insubstantial. It was in 2006 when this adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada , which has even had a musical version in London and New York, hit theatres. A cast with Meryl Streep in the role of Miranda Priestley, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt ran like clockwork for a film that became an instant classic and garnered two Oscar nominations that year, for Streep's performance and Patricia Field's incredible costumes. Since then, the film has positioned itself as a reference work for all fashion lovers and has become the less brainy and rather more punkish reverse of other feature films that delve into the world of fashion, such as Robert Altman's unforgettable Pret-a-porter . And in Hollywood where a dearth of ideas has become a running joke, the sequel was a given. What's more, Streep, Hathaway and Blunt took the stage at the 2024 SAG Awards to recreate one of the film's iconic scenes and hint that something was brewing. And so it has been. Who's in the cast of 'The Devil Wears Prada 2'? As we've already discussed, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt will return as Miranda, Andy and Emily once again. Stanley Tucci is confirmed to return as Nigel. Joining the cast is Kenneth Branagh in the role of Miranda's husband. Simone Ashley, Lucy Liu, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak and Justin Theroux will also be in the cast. The one who will not return, confirmed, is Adrien Grenier, who in the first installment plays Nate, the real villain of the film according to some fans. What is 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' about? Miranda Priestley has to deal with the loss of influence of luxury magazines and, above all, the lack of advertisers in traditional media. Runway is not what it used to be and to get it afloat again she will have to desperately get the investment of a group of luxury brands that now runs. Emily, the unfortunate character of Emily Blunt in the first of the films, has finally been able to travel to Paris fashion week. Nothing has been announced about Andy Sachs, the recent journalism graduate played by Anne Hathaway. We will remain expectant. Is it possible to see the trailer of 'The Devil Wears Prada 2'? Not yet. Only a clip has been advanced in which the heel of the original film has been multiplied by two and the iconic phrases of the first feature are heard in the background.

Men's Bags We Can't Stop Thinking About - and Here is Why
Women can be divided into two camps - the ones that can leave the house with a dainty pochette and the ones that carry their proverbial life on their (somewhat strained & slanted) shoulders. The latter are the type everyone goes to when needing a protein bar, a Panadol, a power bank, some emergency dry shampoo - you see where this is going. Yet, the options of women's bags in the XXL size can be somewhat limited, which is why buying the significantly roomier bags from the men's range might be our favourite lifehack-du-jour. The Givenchy large Voyou bag, crafted from cracked leather, exudes a strong urban vibe, featuring moto accents and an Olsen twin-inspired, slouchy silhouette. It is a perfect daytime companion due to its extra-large volume, which can easily fit your iPad, water bottle, and more. Large Voyou bag in crackled leather AED10,246 Tods Di Bag is iconic in its own right, and the briefcase version of the bag is as rich-looking as it is understated. Crafted in fine calfskin leather, this bag is a pièce de résistance for a corporate outfit, whilst secretly hiding a Pilates getup for later. Tod's Di Bag Briefcase in Leather Medium The Intrecciato Andiamo bag by Boottega Veneta requires no further intro, but the men's version is significantly roomier. For those wanting to lean into a familiar silhouette, this artisanal piece of luggage combines comfort with pure sartorial superpowers. Andiamo Large Intrecciato Leather Messenger Bag AED29,600 The Prada Buckle leather tote is a simple carry-all that no self-proclaimed minimalist would refuse. The silver buckle and belt detailing exhude a distinct 90s whiff (alongside the actual olfactory delight of high-quality leather), in line with the current aesthetic. The two-compartment solution makes it easy to separate the contents of the bag, allowing for a clear division between daytime and nighttime must-haves.
