Unexpected gains are possible midweek, perhaps through children, family, or past efforts bearing fruit.
The latter part of the week is ideal for making new investments, especially in property or fixed deposits. You may receive honor or recognition that indirectly enhances your earning potential. Businesspersons should keep an eye out for new contracts or orders, which can significantly increase income.
While you may feel tempted to splurge, remember to plan for the future.
The week offers both growth and security, provided you act wisely and avoid impulsive decisions.
Health and Well-being
Health is a mixed bag for Aries this week. The beginning may see you grappling with minor ailments, especially related to your legs or stress-induced fatigue. Emotional turbulence can also impact your physical well-being—prioritize rest, self-care, and mindfulness during this phase.
Midweek brings a boost to your energy and vitality. Any restlessness dissipates, replaced by joy and enthusiasm. If you've been neglecting exercise or healthy routines, now is the time to get back on track. Toward the weekend, you'll feel at your physical and emotional best, buoyed by family support and personal achievements.
Overall, avoid burnout by balancing work and relaxation. Healthy habits and a positive mindset will see you through any temporary setbacks.

Chaos, delays at post-office: Server woe clashes with Rakhi rush, poorly serving people & staff
Bhopal: An unusually crowded, noisy and haphazard scene would've greeted a person if they were to visit the main post office in TT Nagar on Tuesday. Long queues at each window and loud sporadic arguments and quarelling due to the "server problem" became a common sight. With the Raksha Bhandhan festival nearing, people were eager to send rakhis and gifts through posts from kin far away, the postal department servers played spoilsport. For the last two days the department servers have been down nationally, and no parcels could be booked via speed post service. Consumers are making rounds of sub-offices to main offices, without any luck. Instead, crowds are swelling by the hour at the post offices and restless consumers are arguing with the harried postal staff. "I've been standing here since 4pm and there is no guarantee when the system will be up and my parcel will be booked. Why is this slackness during festival hours, can't the department fix it?" asked a consumer. A staffer explained that the servers were down nationwide and are now fluctuating, leading to prolonged waiting times. Wishing anonymity he told TOI, "We cannot do much when the servers aren't working well. It's a pan-India issue due to the introduction of a new application last month. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Explore the Top 20 Cleanest and Safest Blue Flag Beaches Worldwide zenlifemag Learn More Undo Earlier, bookings were offline too but now it is all online," Chote Lal, a resident, said, "I was standing in the queue for the entire day and my speed post was only sent around 6:00 pm." Another resident, Bhawna, observed the long queues and server issues at the office gates and remarked, "There's some technical problem, so we'll return to the office again tomorrow." Reeta Garg, senior superintendent at Central Post Office, TT Nagar said, "New states are being added to the recently launched application, so it has slowed down a bit. The new application is in a transition phase but we're expecting that it will be resolved by tomorrow (Wednesday). Keeping the Rakhi festival in mind, we'll be opening all major post offices in Bhopal early at 7.30 am starting Wednesday till Aug 9 to cover up for the inconvenience faced by people. " Meanwhile, another staffer at the office anonymously stated that they hope the servers become fully operational today; otherwise, early opening of the office at 7:30 am will not benefit anyone— the consumers or the employees.

Pinarayi Vijayan seeks list of unsafe govt buildings in 2 weeks
Thiruvananthapuram: Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan has directed the disaster relief department to identify decrepit govt buildings, including schools and hospitals, and submit a list within two weeks. The directive, issued during a high-level meeting, comes in the wake of multiple incidents last month -- including the death of a 52-year-old woman after a toilet complex collapsed at Kottayam medical college and the electrocution of a 13-year-old student at an aided school in Kollam. In another scare, a portion of the roof at a govt upper primary school in Karthikappally, Alappuzha, collapsed. Fortunately, the incident occurred on a Sunday and no one was injured. At the meeting, it was decided that all unsafe public buildings will be categorised based on whether they require immediate repair or demolition. In the case of school buildings, demolitions must be scheduled during holidays to avoid disrupting classes. Until the buildings are rebuilt, local bodies, PTAs and the education department must ensure alternative arrangements to conduct classes. The CM also instructed that safety inspections of unaided school buildings be carried out simultaneously. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like India to host free stock market courses Mister Market Pro Undo A software system will be developed to record details of public buildings in hazardous conditions. MCC's plastic bottle recycling project hits financial roadblock
Mysuru: The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has hit a roadblock in its initiative to install plastic water bottle recycling machines at select locations across the city due to a lack of funds. Despite Mysuru being ranked as the third cleanest city in the country, the city civic body, which generates 550 tonnes of solid waste, including 50 tonnes of plastic, is struggling to manage the plastic waste. MCC had planned to install these machines at nine different locations in the city for better management of plastic waste. The then MCC commissioner, Ashad Ur Rehaman Sharief, who initiated the project, had installed one machine on the MCC premises on an experimental basis in July 2024. The machine accepts empty water bottles of up to one litre capacity and disintegrates them into plastic flakes, which are then treated and used for producing other items, such as bins. People who feed plastic bottles into the machine will be rewarded Rs 1 per litre, authorities stated. Each machine has the capacity to crush 1000 used one-litre plastic water bottles, after which the waste can be recycled. MCC had planned to install these machines along with cloth bag vending ATM machines at busy tourist spots near Mysuru Palace, Chamundi Hills, commercial streets like Devaraja Market, Devaraj Urs Road, city bus stand, KSRTC bus stand, and near the railway station, which witness high footfall. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like She grew up to be America's sweetheart... can YOU guess? Watch More Undo As per the plan, people can get cloth bags instead of plastic covers by inserting Rs 10 (using five rupee coins) or scanning the QR codes on the machines. However, the installation of these machines has not yet been realised. MCC health officer Dr Venkatesh said, "Installation of these machines helps to minimise the usage of single-use plastic materials and thereby end plastic menace in the city." Speaking to TOI, MCC commissioner Syed Asif Tanveer said he would look into these projects initiated by his predecessor to deal with the plastic menace. "A fresh proposal will be sent to the deputy commissioner seeking his approval," he said. Former mayor Shivakumar said, "It would be helpful to rid the city of plastic bottles if MCC comes up with such projects, but it must verify its financial resources before making such big announcements."
