Madrasa, TikTok Partner to Boost Arabic E-Learning
Madrasa, the e-learning platform under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), has partnered with TikTok. The partnership was announced as TikTok launched its globally successful STEM Feed in the UAE.
This collaboration marks a major milestone. It brings the largest free Arabic-language educational video library to TikTok. The goal is to enhance learning opportunities, promote innovation, and support community growth across the region.
The cooperation agreement was signed in the presence of key officials. These included His Excellency Saeed Al Eter, Assistant Secretary General at MBRGI; Dr. Waleed Al Ali, General Coordinator of Madrasa.org; and Kinda Ibrahim, Regional General Manager of Operations at TikTok for the Middle East, Turkey, Africa, Pakistan, and South Asia.
The new initiative aims to deliver high-quality, verified STEM content. It will focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The content will be made available in innovative formats that appeal to today's learners.
Dr. Waleed Al Ali revealed that MBRGI continues to grow its strategic partnerships. These efforts reflect the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. His vision places education at the core of societal progress and aims to empower a new Arab generation.
He stated that the launch marks a new phase for Madrasa. It helps advance self-learning by providing Arab students with essential knowledge. The initiative blends structured learning with engaging video content, using social media to expand its reach.
Dr. Al Ali reported that the platform has seen rising video views and a growing user base since its launch in 2018. It has received regional and international recognition, including from UNESCO and ESCWA.
TikTok's long-term strategy also emphasizes educational impact. The company aims to spark curiosity, promote creativity, and encourage youth in the region to pursue STEM careers.
Kinda Ibrahim stated that the STEM Feed's launch in the UAE supports TikTok's mission to empower young innovators. She added that nearly 10 million STEM-related videos have been shared globally on TikTok over the past three years. This highlights a strong demand for educational content.
She also announced that partnering with MBRGI allows TikTok to amplify its impact. Together, they aim to offer trusted Arabic-language content and inspire learning through social media.
Since 2018, Madrasa has provided more than 7,000 interactive lessons in STEM and Arabic language subjects. It continues to work toward making Arabic a key language for modern science and knowledge.
The STEM Feed is now available to all users. Those aged 18 and above can activate it through their TikTok app settings under Content Preferences.
Users will be able to access: Content from top STEM creators, such as @Da7ee7, @annanscience, @anastalks, and others
Educational material from partners like Majarra, known for high-quality Arabic content
To ensure accuracy and quality, TikTok will review all content in collaboration with Common Sense Networks and Poynter. Common Sense Networks will evaluate educational value, while Poynter will verify reliability. Any content that fails to meet these standards will not be featured.
This initiative reflects both organizations' commitment to building knowledge-based societies. It also highlights their shared goal of making STEM education accessible, engaging, and impactful for Arab youth.
By combining Madrasa's vast e-learning resources with TikTok's digital platform, the partnership aims to empower young minds—one short video at a time.

Jordan, Egypt highlight commitment to agricultural integration
AMMAN — Minister of Agriculture Khaled Hneifat on Tuesday reiterated the importance of agricultural integration between Jordan and Egypt. During his meeting with Head of the Agricultural Engineers Syndicate in Egypt Sayed Khalifa and Chairman of the Egyptian Agricultural Research Centre Adel Abdel Azim, Hneifat stressed the need to build on Jordanian-Egyptian ties by enhancing coordination and activating joint action, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. Hneifat cited exchanging technical and professional expertise and facilitating agricultural trade between the two countries as tools to further enhance ties between Amman and Cairo. He pointed to the opportunities available to benefit from 'high-quality' Jordanian agricultural inputs, such as improved seeds, fertilisers, pesticides, and veterinary medicines. The minister also called for establishing direct communication channels between relevant institutions and the private sectors in both countries to translate these opportunities into practical and fruitful projects. Khalifa highlighted the 'deep' professional ties between the agricultural engineers syndicates in Jordan and Egypt, describing their relationship as a 'successful model' of cooperation among Arab agricultural institutions. He noted that both syndicates work jointly to exchange expertise and technical training, and to build strategic partnerships aimed at achieving agricultural integration and boosting productivity in both countries. Abdel Azim stressed the importance of the visit in opening new avenues for scientific and research cooperation. He also indicated a move towards initiating direct networking between the Jordanian and Egyptian private sectors, particularly in the fields of seed and fertiliser production and development. Abdel Azim called for prompt meetings between investors from both sides to facilitate cooperation and ease the flow of Jordanian agricultural products into the Egyptian market. President of the Jordanian-Egyptian Agricultural Traders and Producers Association Saleh Yassin underlined the 'notable' progress in Jordanian-Egyptian agricultural relations. Yassin said that there are many Jordanian companies and factories operating in the Egyptian market, which highlights the mutual trust and the importance of maintaining 'strong' economic partnerships that benefit both nations. President of the Jordanian Agricultural Engineers Association Ali Abu Nuqta noted that the visit was part of coordinated efforts between the two syndicates in Jordan and Egypt. He referred to a shared vision that aims to expand the base of technical and syndicate-level cooperation, enhance the capacities of the agricultural sector in both countries, and serve the interests of agricultural engineers and farmers alike.
