Visit Qatar has released a new promotional video starring David Beckham, showcasing the country's diverse tourism attractions and offerings.
The short film features a conversation between Beckham and a hotelier in Qatar, during which Beckham shares his knowledge of some of his favourite destinations across the country.
These include Souq Waqif, an iconic traditional market known for its vibrant alleyways, Katara Cultural Village, a hub of heritage, art, and entertainment, and the breathtaking Inland Sea, a natural wonder where desert dunes meet the sea.
Beyond the destinations featured in the film, visitors can experience Qatar's new and exceptional destinations that offer visitors unparalleled experiences. The Pearl-Qatar offers stunning marina views, luxury retail, and fine dining experiences.
Adjacent to it, Gewan Island features Qatar's longest outdoor air-conditioned pedestrian walkway and holds two Guinness World Records. Meanwhile, the colourful Mina District enchants visitors with its pastel-hued buildings, boutique stores, and waterfront cafés.

QIB and Visa launch summer campaign with 100 million loyalty points in prizes
Tribune News Network Doha Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), Qatar's leading digital bank in collaboration with Visa, has announced an exclusive offer for its existing and new Visa Debit and Credit cardholders. Running until 14 October 2025, the campaign rewards a total of 370 customers over a period of 3 months with 100 Million loyalty points prize pool. QIB is rewarding international spends this summer, giving a chance to 70 winners to walk away with a Million loyalty points each in addition to a total of 300 monthly winners with 100,000 loyalty points each. The loyalty points will be offered as Absher, Avios, Marriott Bonvoy or Meera Rewards based on the QIB card used to enter the draw. Every month, 100 winners will be randomly selected, to receive 100,000 loyalty points over a period of 3 months. 70 grand winners will be awarded 1 Million loyalty points each at the end of the campaign, making a total of 370 winners of Visa cardholders. Cardholders will automatically qualify for the monthly draw when spending a total of QAR 1,000 per month on international transactions. Every additional QAR 1,000 spends within the same month increases their chances to win 100,000 loyalty points. Cardholders who spend a total of QAR 15,000 internationally during the campaign period will have a chance to win 1 Million loyalty points. Every additional QAR15,000 spends during the campaign period will increase their chance to win the grand prize. Commenting on the launch of the campaign, D. MoI participates in Basel Tattoo Military Festival
Tribune News Network Basel, Switzerland The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Police Academy, is participating in the Basel Tattoo Military Music Festival, in Basel, Switzerland, from July 11 to 19, 2025. The opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency Major-General Dr. Abdullah Yousef Al Mal, legal advisor to the Minister of Interior and general supervisor of the Police Academy, and Colonel Fahad Saeed Al Subaie, deputy president of the Academy and director of the Police College. The Academy's military parade team presented a distinguished display during the festival's opening ceremony, combining high discipline with silent marching movements to the rhythms of military music. This demonstrated the level of training and competence of the Academy's members. Through this participation, the Police Academy seeks to present an honourable image in international forums and emphasise that discipline and proper military conduct are fundamental pillars in the training of security personnel, a point demonstrated and emphasised by the participants during the opening ceremony.
