Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) has left Albert Square – but not before saying goodbye to someone first.
The character had quite a dramatic exit, having scammed the Panesar clan out of thousands and fleeing to Spain.
She thought she'd got away with the devious act when she framed accountant Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig), but little did she realise, the family were onto her.
Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) installed spyware onto her laptop, but due to a delay, she was able to transfer a final £25k into her account before he and brother Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) realised.
On Bridge Street, Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal) tried to block her from boarding the taxi with cousin Felix Baker (Matthew James Morrison). Bernie pleaded with her to let her go so that she could start afresh in the wake of brother Keanu's (Danny Walters) murder.

Concerned that the death could stir up more trouble for her, Suki stepped to one side, with Bernie and Felix driving off into the distance.
But in the moments prior to her exit, Bernie visited the Walford allotments and laid flowers beside a tree, asking Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) to do the same in her absence.
But whose memorial was she visiting?
Belle was the daughter of Bernie and her school mate Callum Edwards (Shaun Aylward).
In 2017, the baby was conceived following a brief fling. Callum offered his commitment to his new family, suggesting marriage.

Brothers Keanu and Keegan (Zack Morris) gathered to plant a tree in her honour, and in true Albert Square fashion, things became heated. Keegan lashed out at Callum, with Bernie pleading with them to stop.

The popular highlights show, Today at Wimbledon, has been moved to a graveyard slot on BBC2 – at 11.55pm on day one and a similar time thereafter. For viewers who want to watch the highlights show earlier, it will still be available at 8pm or 9pm on the iPlayer. Nick Kyrgios will not be returning as a BBC pundit at Wimbledon this year after being hired in 2024. The corporation caused outrage 12 months ago by hiring the 'bad boy' of tennis just over a year after he admitted assaulting an ex-girlfriend. Kyrgios said the BBC's decision not to include him is ' their loss more than mine '. By UK law, Wimbledon is a 'Category B' television event, meaning that although the men's and women's finals must always remain free-to-air, there is no guarantee that the rest of the tournament will not one day be shown on pay-TV. TNT Sports has the rights to show the men's and women's finals as well as a nightly highlights show at 10pm every day of the tournament. How to watch Wimbledon on TV in the US ESPN has the rights to show 140-plus hours of coverage from Wimbledon in the United States. In 2021, ESPN signed a 12-year agreement to broadcast the event. Coverage begins each day at 6am Eastern Time. Where is Wimbledon held? The tournament takes place, as ever, at the All England Lawn Tennis Club on Church Road, Wimbledon. How to buy Wimbledon tickets The public Wimbledon ballot is closed, meaning that most tickets for the show courts are unavailable. However, one of the traditions of Wimbledon is 'the Queue'. New for 2025 No line judges In a major break from history for the Championships, an automated electronic line calling (ELC) system will be adopted this year, consigning line judges to the past. EastEnders fans were left open-mouthed after an iconic BBC star appeared in a casino advert 21 years on from her Walford exit. Actress Hannah Waterman, 49, played Laura Beale in the hit show between 2000 and 2004. And while she was last seen on the Square more than two decades ago, some hardcore EastEnders fans have spotted her elsewhere. Taking to Reddit, one fan shared a snap of her posing as the model on the KenoGO advert in Australia. They asked: 'So I'm living in Australia currently and this advert keeps popping up on the TV and now social media. 'Is it Laura Beale's actress Hannah Waterman?' Although Hannah is arguably know for playing Laura in the BBC hit, she has landed various other telly roles over the years. The star played Maria in Casualty, Maria Thomas in Doctors, Fern Parker in The Bill, Emily Driscoll in New Dricks, Kate in The Afternoon Play and Ruby Macintosh in Holby City. She also played DI Collier in Doctors, Rosemary Miller in BAli 2002 and Magistrate in Home and Away, most recently. Hannah has also starred in various films including The Missing Postman, Patient 17 and Touch. The soap legend previously married Ricky Groves in 2006, however they split in 2010 and divorced in 2014. Hannah has been with Huw Higginson since 2010 and they share one child together. Over the past 12 years Hannah has lived in Down Under with her family. Her Instagram bio states: 'UK actress based in Sydney.' It comes after an iconic EastEnders star looks unrecognisable four decades on from her soap debut. Mary 'the Punk' Smith, played by Linda Davidson, featured in the serial drama's original cast when it first aired back in 1985. She was a single mother to her daughter Annie and viewers saw the complicated character struggle to raise her child and earn money all while sporting her distinctive style. From becoming a prostitute to various failed romances, Mary had several controversial storylines before she left the show in 1988. Linda reprised the role in 2019 when she attended the funeral of fellow original cast member Dr Harold Legg and again in 2022 for Dot Cotton's funeral.

Danny Dyer isn't exactly famous for holding his tongue, but the actor has left daughter Dani Dyer mortified with an NSFW confession. Former EastEnders star Danny, 47, shares Dani, 28, Sunnie, 18, and son Arty, 11, with his wife, Jo, whom he wed in 2016. They're an incredibly close family, with Danny and Dani having worked together on several occasions, fronting their own travel show and hosting a podcast. However, her dad's latest admission was definitely TMI, even for Dani. The influencer and ex-Love Islander recently returned from her honeymoon after marrying West Ham star Jarrod Bowen. Speaking on their Live And Let Dyers pod, Dani reflected on their blissful getaway to Lake Como and the beautiful time she and her new hubby had, despite the miserable weather.
