22 business lunches to book for a midday break in Dubai
Life by Sarah Joseph July 4, 2025 VIEW GALLERY/ 22 IMAGES Known for its vibrant dining scene, Dubai has a plethora of restaurants with a host of irresistible business lunches you simply can't miss. Designed for a luxe networking experience or even to take a break from the mundane routine of a 9 to 5, a business lunch is quick, convenient and fancy, making it the perfect meal to savour in the emirate. If you need to recharge those creativity levels and tuck into lunch outside the office or if you have to sign a business deal with a client, there are plenty of business lunches in Dubai to choose from. Quite often it's important to have a change of scenery during the day to switch off for an hour and simply laugh and unwind. Dubai is home to several Michelin-recognised spots in Dubai, Green star, and Bib Gourmand spots where the finest quality resides. Here are some options depending on the dress code of the company or industry: Business Formal A well-fitted pantsuit or skirt suit, blouse, and closed-toe pumps. Neutral or soft colors work well. Business Casual A blouse or tailored top with dress pants or a knee-length skirt, paired with flats or low-heeled shoes. Smart Casual A stylish blouse or dressy top with tailored pants or a midi skirt, complemented with low heels or chic flats. How to accessorise Keep accessories simple and tasteful. A watch or small jewelry is appropriate. If it's cooler, a light blazer or coat is a good choice. Neutral tones like white, beige, navy, and black tend to look more professional, but don't shy away from a pop of color if it's appropriate for the setting. Hence, with our hectic schedules and day-to-day meetings, trying out new spots can be a challenge, which is why several top-rated eateries in town offer set business lunch menus for the busy bees in the city. From LPM to Zuma, the city offers the best without breaking the bank. So, if you're looking for where to dine next, Emirates Woman has curated the ultimate guide of fine-dining restaurants in Dubai for an elegant midday meal. – For more on luxury lifestyle, news, fashion and beauty follow Emirates Woman on Facebook and Instagram Images: Supplied & Feature Image: Instagram @haileybieber @ana_elisa_

Adriana Degreas and Sabine Getty team up for a chic collection laced with nostalgia
Inspired by the spirit of the sixties, Brazilian designer Adriana Degreas partners with Sabine Getty for a chic resortwear collection that laced notes of nostalgia. How did this collaboration come about? Was this an organic partnership from the outset, and what are the values that define Adriana Degreas as a brand that you align yourself with? It started organically. I have always loved Adriana Degreas's glamourous and nostalgic aesthetic, and it felt very natural to join our creative worlds to do this capsule. What are the key styles, and what was the inspiration for the prints we're seeing in this capsule? I knew I wanted to create pieces that would be wearable at the beach but also out for cocktails. I have always been drawn to tiger print, and we did a lot of work together to find the perfect tone of colour for this particular tiger print that we used. My references were photos of Veruschka from the 1960s, and that's why we created these fun kaftans and flowy pieces as well. How did you go about conceptualising the designs? We wanted to be able to provide a whole summer wardrobe, having skirts, dresses, overalls, bathing suits, bikinis, and even trousers. We tried to be as comprehensive as possible. How would you style the pieces during the day? They are so easy to wear! They can be worn as they are with lovely summer sandals, the bathing suits translate very well as bodysuits and can be worn with jeans or skirts. All the dresses effortlessly transition from daytime to evening. What have you learned about yourself through this collaboration? Maybe how much some fashion images have marked my memory and affected my aesthetic. I truly love the glamour of the 1960s, and I find that's something that kept coming up during this collaboration. The campaign images ooze vintage Hollywood pin-up glamour. How did you work together with Adriana Degreas to achieve this, and was this the vision from the outset? We both agreed we wanted big hair and makeup, and wanted to steer away from this minimal look that we see in editorials. Veruschka was our main point of reference for this shoot. What were the challenges you faced? It was hard to do a final edit. It was so much fun creating, and there were so many pieces we loved, but we had to let some go in order to have a tight and coherent capsule. You're able to put the fun in fashion and think beyond the norms, and this is evident with your jewellery pieces as well. How do you know when to push forward? To be honest, I don't know how not to. If I'm doing something that I find boring, I can't even imagine how people would receive it. I have to be amused and in a constant state of trying to surprise myself. Fun is the first driver in my creative process. This is The Summer Escape Issue – where will you be wearing the collection pieces come summer? I'm going to be wearing them in Italy, Spain, and the South of France. I can't wait! – For more on luxury lifestyle, news, fashion and beauty follow Emirates Woman on Facebook and Instagram Images: Supplied
