Adriana Degreas and Sabine Getty team up for a chic collection laced with nostalgia
It started organically. I have always loved Adriana Degreas's glamourous and nostalgic aesthetic, and it felt very natural to join our creative worlds to do this capsule. What are the key styles, and what was the inspiration for the prints we're seeing in this capsule?
I knew I wanted to create pieces that would be wearable at the beach but also out for cocktails. I have always been drawn to tiger print, and we did a lot of work together to find the perfect tone of colour for this particular tiger print that we used. My references were photos of Veruschka from the 1960s, and that's why we created these fun kaftans and flowy pieces as well. How did you go about conceptualising the designs?
We wanted to be able to provide a whole summer wardrobe, having skirts, dresses, overalls, bathing suits, bikinis, and even trousers. We tried to be as comprehensive as possible.
How would you style the pieces during the day?
They are so easy to wear! They can be worn as they are with lovely summer sandals, the bathing suits translate very well as bodysuits and can be worn with jeans or skirts. All the dresses effortlessly transition from daytime to evening. What have you learned about yourself through this collaboration?
Maybe how much some fashion images have marked my memory and affected my aesthetic. I truly love the glamour of the 1960s, and I find that's something that kept coming up during this collaboration. The campaign images ooze vintage Hollywood pin-up glamour. How did you work together with Adriana Degreas to achieve this, and was this the vision from the outset?
We both agreed we wanted big hair and makeup, and wanted to steer away from this minimal look that we see in editorials. Veruschka was our main point of reference for this shoot.
What were the challenges you faced?
It was hard to do a final edit. It was so much fun creating, and there were so many pieces we loved, but we had to let some go in order to have a tight and coherent capsule. You're able to put the fun in fashion and think beyond the norms, and this is evident with your jewellery pieces as well. How do you know when to push forward?
To be honest, I don't know how not to. If I'm doing something that I find boring, I can't even imagine how people would receive it. I have to be amused and in a constant state of trying to surprise myself. Fun is the first driver in my creative process. This is The Summer Escape Issue – where will you be wearing the collection pieces come summer?
I'm going to be wearing them in Italy, Spain, and the South of France. I can't wait! – For more on luxury lifestyle, news, fashion and beauty follow Emirates Woman on Facebook and Instagram

Interior 2025 trend: Nature-inspired and wood drenching
This year, design whispers rather than shouts. The focus shifts from bold statements to soulful spaces, and nothing captures this better than the nature-inspired, wood-drenched aesthetic that's taking over interiors. Why this trend works? It's calming, textural, and timeless. With people craving emotional sanctuary within their homes, this look brings the outdoors in—without sacrificing sophistication. The core elements of the look are: Color Palette Grounded & Earthy as this trend leans heavily into nature's neutral spectrum. Think Forest Green which reminiscent of pine canopies and deep foliage. Clay Brown and terracotta known for evoking sunbaked earth and handcrafted pottery, also Sky Blue which brings airiness and contrast, finally sand beige & moss olive known for anchoring the palette with soft, organic warmth. Overall, these tones layer beautifully to create depth without visual clutter, promoting a soothing, lived-in feel. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Wood Culture (@woodculturedxb) Materials Raw, Organic, Unpolished. Forget gloss. Surfaces are matte, tactile, and character-rich. Key materials include: Limewash walls for an imperfect, cloud-like softness Rough-hewn timber or reclaimed wood with visible knots and grain Linen, cane, terracotta, stone, and wool—each adding a sensory dimension Ceramics and handmade objects that celebrate craftsmanship over perfection Texture is everything here. The more layered and natural the material, the better. Lighting Soft, Warm, Circadian-Inspired. Harsh lights are out; gentle illumination is in. Think, skylights or sun-filtered windows that mimic natural light for any room. How to style it? Begin by layering textures, you can mix linen curtains with jute rugs and wooden accents. Secondly, invest in statement wood, a floor-to-ceiling slatted wall or a solid oak table. Then curate calming corners, think reading nooks with low seating and stone planters. Finally, play with proportion as it can pair oversized clay vases with delicate lighting. So, if you're thinking of adapting this theme around your home, swipe through our gallery of must-own pieces to fit the theme. – For more on luxury lifestyle, news, fashion and beauty follow Emirates Woman on Facebook and Instagram Images from website & Feature Image: @marbiliaestudio
