Third person charged over murder of Pheobe Bishop
Queensland Police have charged a 30-year-old man with two counts of accessory after the fact to murder, alleging he used Pheobe's mobile phone to interfere with investigations.
The man was charged around 7pm on Tuesday in Bundaberg West, one day after family and friends farewelled the 17-year-old at a private service in the south east Queensland town.
Pheobe was last seen near Bundaberg airport about 8.30am on May 15 after booking a trip to Western Australia to see her boyfriend.
Queensland Police allege her housemates, Tanika Bromley and James Wood, drove Pheobe close to the airport in a grey Hyundai, but no one left the car.
She was allegedly murdered and her body was moved more than once from the Good Night Scrub National Park, an hour's drive from the airport.
Phone data led officers to focus their search on the national park before her remains were found on June 6.
Wood, 34, and Bromley, 33, remain behind bars and will face court on August 11, charged with murder and interfering with a corpse.
Six weeks after Pheobe disappeared, family and friends laid the "free-spirited" teen to rest while donning bright colours at a service on Monday.
Multiple candlelit vigils attended by hundreds have been held across Bundaberg and Gin Gin in recent weeks, remembering how Pheobe lived life to the fullest.
The 30-year-old man charged is expected to face the Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

The teenager had been living with them in a garbage-strewn property in the small town of Gin Gin, near Bundaberg before she vanished on May 15. Pheobe failed to board a flight to WA to visit her boyfriend and was reported missing, sparking a major search. Her remains were found just over three weeks later in the Good Night Scrub National Park on June 6. Mr Mittelheuser, who was born in March 1995 and attended Bundaberg State High School, is a father but reportedly does not live with his child and is estranged from the mother. Over recent years, Mr Mittelheuser has set up numerous social media accounts showing off his love of fishing, cars and heavy metal bands including Slipknot and The Amity Affliction. The day Mr Wood and Ms Bromley were charged with Pheobe's murder, Mr Mittelheuser posted to Instagram, 'I don't even care about my foot hanging off my bed anymore, come get me demons. Bring me home', a popular reference that is part of a TikTok trend. On one of his Facebook pages, Mr Mittelheuser refers to being 'rinsed' by Trent McRae — a man who is one of two charged over the death of Bundaberg father Matty Nilsen, 34, who was riding his bike when he was hit and killed during an alleged hooning incident on April 29.

The third person charged in relation to Pheobe Bishop's murder identified as Bundaberg man Kieren Daniel Mittelheuser, refers to himself online as the 'Rockspider', and has about seven social media accounts where he regularly posted about fishing, alcohol and women. Detectives arrested Mittelheuser, 30, on Tuesday evening outside a local fast food outlet in Bundaberg west, just a day after Pheobe was put to rest by her family during a private funeral. He is facing two counts of accessory after the fact to murder, one count of failure to appear in accordance with undertaking and one breach of bail condition. Separate to those charges, Mittelheuser is also facing charges of driving while disqualified, fraud and drug possession. Police will allege he used Pheobe's mobile phone to interfere with the investigation. Mittelheuser reportedly did not appear in court when his case was mentioned on Wednesday, but he was heard by phone from custody and did not apply for bail, nor did he enter into any pleas. The Courier Mail reported a solicitor told the court the fraud charge and the accessory after the fact charges were related. He said the fraud charge involved the alleged use of a credit or debit card that is also relevant to the accessory allegations. The 30-year-old's case has been adjourned until August 25. Prior to his arrest, Mittelheuser regularly posted on social media with his posts indicating he is also a father to a young daughter, but there are no images of his partner. His bio indicates he studied at Bundaberg State High School and was born in 1995. His various Facebook pages are inundated with posts of him holding fish, alcohol, women, narcotics and statements about provocation. One post he shared on his page reads: "Sometimes you just gotta break out the chainsaw and cut some mother******* up". On one of his accounts, Mittelheuser made reference to Trent McRae in his bio, writing: "I got rinsed by Trent McRae". McRae, 22, along with another man was charged in May for his involvement in an alleged fatal hit and run crash which killed Bundaberg cyclist Matty Nilsen on April 29. His charges do not relate to Pheobe Bishop's murder. Pheobe suspiciously disappeared from her hometown, on May 15, just a few hours before she was due to catch a flight from Bundaberg Airport to Western Australia, to visit her boyfriend. She was last seen alive carrying her luggage on Airport Drive, near Bundaberg Airport, but police confirmed they are "certain" she never made it into the terminal. Her housemates James Wood, 34, and Tanika Bromley, 33, who both claim to have driven the teen to the airport on the day of her disappearance, have been accused of her alleged murder. The pair were charged in relation to Pheobe's alleged murder on June 5, and less than 24 hours after their arrest, her human remains were found. They are due to face Bundaberg magistrates court on August 11 facing one count each of murder and two counts each of interfering with a corpse. They are both yet to enter pleas. Authorities will allege her body was tampered with a number of times before it was found in bushland near Good Night Scrub National Park. Mittelheuser remains in custody until his court appearance.
