Iconic ‘80s Band The B-52s Makes Surprise Announcement 3 Years After Farewell Tour
'We are excited that the Cosmic De-Evolution Tour is landing in a city near you with @clubdevo and special guest @lene_lovich_band_official ! 🛸Tickets go on sale Friday, June 20th @ 10AM,' the band announced.
The official announcement came hours after the B-52s teased big news was coming in a series of Instagram posts.
The upcoming 11-city tour kicks off on Sept. 24 in Toronto and ends Nov. 2 in Houston, with Lene Lovich as the opening act.
The B-52s features Kate Pierson (vocals, keyboards, synth bass), Ricky Wilson (vocals, guitar), Cindy Wilson (vocals, percussion), and Fred Schneider (vocals, percussion).
In a statement to Rolling Stone, Cindy Wilson said the idea for the co-headlining tour was spawned when the B-52s and Devo performed at the SNL 50 concert at Radio City Music Hall in February.
Schneider added, 'In 2022, I swore I'd never get on a tour bus again, but we were careful to say to our fans that we would still perform in special situations that don't require all of the awful tour travel. … When we were offered the chance to do a small run of shows with Devo, we all said this is an extraordinary opportunity we couldn't say no to.'
The B-52s announced their North American Farewell tour in April 2022. It ran from Aug. 22 in Seattle to Nov. 11 in Atlanta and featured KC and the Sunshine Band and the Tubes, per Ultimate Classic Rock.
The band has played a residency at The Venetian in Las Vegas since wrapping their final tour in 2022.Iconic '80s Band The B-52s Makes Surprise Announcement 3 Years After Farewell Tour first appeared on Men's Journal on Jun 16, 2025

AC/DC Invades The Billboard Charts With Multiple Comebacks
AC/DC returns to several Billboard charts as "Thunderstruck" and "You Shook Me All Night Long" ... More reappears on different rock rankings. Brian Johnson and Angus Young, both of the group AC/DC, film the 'Thunderstruck' music video, Brixton Academy, London, 8/17/1990. (Photo by) Some weeks are bigger than others for AC/DC on the Billboard charts, but the band never disappears completely. At times, attention is split across multiple albums, with interest divided between greatest hits collections and proper studio albums. In other instances, as is the case at the moment, American listeners are returning to the classic songs that turned the Australian outfit into global superstars decades ago. AC/DC regularly appears on rankings focused on both albums and songs, but this frame, multiple tunes return, and the group claims several hits in the largest music market on the planet. "Thunderstruck" Remains AC/DC's Sturdiest Hit "Thunderstruck" is, as is almost always the case, AC/DC's biggest hit in America right now. The track lives on a trio of U.S.-based Billboard rankings, as well as both of the company's global tallies. What has turned out to be AC/DC's most enduring smash reenters the Rock Digital Song Sales chart at No. 14 this week. Recently, "Thunderstruck" passed a decade as one of the top-selling rock tunes in the country, but despite that accomplishment, it has only ever climbed to No. 2 on the tally, coming tantalizingly close to the summit. 'Thunderstruck' Lives Close to No. 1 As "Thunderstruck" reenters the Rock Digital Song Sales tally, it also sits inside the upper reaches of both the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales and Hard Rock Streaming Songs rankings this frame. The cut slips from the throne on the sales roster, but only by one spot, while climbing one rung on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart to No. 3. "You Shook Me All Night Long" Returns "You Shook Me All Night Long" joins "Thunderstruck" as a comeback in America this frame. It narrowly manages to sneak back onto the Hard Rock Streaming Songs list, coming in at No. 24 on the 25-spot ranking of the most successful hard rock-only tracks in the country on platforms like Spotify. "Back in Black" Hits Half a Decade AC/DC sat in twenty-fourth place on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs chart just last frame, and the band occupies the same slot this time around, but with a different tune. Days ago, "Back in Black" landed in second-to-last place, but as that track celebrates half a decade — or exactly 260 frames — on the streaming-only roster, it advances to No. 22. "You Shook Me All Night Long" only needs a few more months to reach that milestone.

How to Watch All the ‘Mission: Impossible' Movies
It's been almost 30 years since Mission: Impossible hit cinemas in 1996 as an adaptation of the 1966 television series of the same name. The Brian De Palma-directed film starring Tom Cruise was a critical success and kickstarted a franchise that remains so successful that MI movies are still being released more than two decades later. When the first movie came out, I was extremely excited to see it and borrowed the VHS tape from a neighbor. Flash-forward to 2000, and I made it my mission to see the sequel, MI2, at the box office. After directors De Palma, John Woo, J.J. Abrams and Brad Bird played hot potato with the reins, Christopher McQuarrie helmed the next four films, starting with Rogue Nation. The eighth series entry, Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, hit cinemas in May 2025. If you've made it your mission to watch the entire Mission: Impossible franchise -- or at least a few flicks -- here's where you can stream each one for an adrenaline-fueled romp. There are a whopping 8 Mission: Impossible movies With a respectable eight films in the series, watching all of the Mission: Impossible movies is a commitment. Here are all of the Mission: Impossible movies in release order: Mission: Impossible (1996) Mission: Impossible II (2000) Mission: Impossible III (2006) Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011) Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015) Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018) Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023) Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning (2025) How to watch all the Mission: Impossible movies The first seven Mission: Impossible series films -- from the 1996 original to 2023's Dead Reckoning -- are available to stream on Paramount Plus, making it the most convenient streaming service to binge the franchise on. While Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning is coming to Paramount Plus, there's no official release date. But looking at recent films that hit Paramount Plus after their box office runs, I expect we'll be able to stream The Final Reckoning in July or August of 2025 -- two or three months after it debuted in theaters. Gladiator 2 surged into cinemas in November 2024 before leaping onto Paramount Plus in January 2025. Likewise, Smile 2 had its box office debut in October 2024 and was subsequently released on Paramount Plus in December 2024. Based on that historical timeline of movies taking two or three months to hit Paramount Plus, I'm guessing it'll be a similar trajectory for The Final Reckoning. While Paramount Plus will be the easiest place to watch all of the Mission: Impossible movies, you can find them streaming elsewhere. Netflix has the first five Mission: Impossible movies -- Mission: Impossible, MI2, MI3, Ghost Protocol and Rogue Nation. Prime Video includes the seventh film, Dead Reckoning. The other films require a rental or purchase fee. Peacock has the first film available to stream, too. You can stream some of the Mission: Impossible movies for free if you can put up with commercials If you're OK with watching commercials, free ad-supported streaming services like Tubi, Plex and Pluto TV can be goldmines for movies and shows. Pluto TV has the first five Mission: Impossible movies, from the 1996 original to 2015's Rogue Nation, available to stream on demand. You can also stream tons of other great movies and TV shows at no cost on Pluto TV, including seasons three through seven of the 1966 Mission: Impossible series that inspired the film franchise. James Martin/CNET Paramount Plus Carries all Mission: Impossible movies Paramount Plus has a starting price of $8 per month or $60 per year for its basic, ad-supported plan. The Paramount Plus with Showtime tier goes for $13 a month or $120 per year. You can take advantage of a one-week free trial if you'd like to test the service out before committing. Alternatively, you can get Paramount Plus with a Walmart Plus subscription, which sets you back $13 per month or $98 per year. If you have Walmart Plus, you can upgrade from the entry-level Paramount Plus tier to Paramount Plus with Showtime for $5.50 per month or $65 annually. In addition to the MI movies, you can stream tons of other films and series on Paramount Plus, including Smile 2, Evil and Criminal Minds: Evolution. Paramount Plus has a few seasons of the 1966 television series that inspired the film franchise, in case you want to brush up on your Impossible Mission Force history. See at Paramount Plus Netflix Carries the first five Mission: Impossible movies Netflix hosts the first five Mission: Impossible flicks -- Mission: Impossible, MI2, MI III, Ghost Protocol and Rogue Nation. In addition to the bulk of the Mission: Impossible franchise, you can also stream original series and movies like Dept. Q, Squid Game and The Old Guard on Netflix. A Netflix subscription costs you $8 a month for its standard with ads plan, $18 a month for the Standard tier or $25 a month for its Premium package. Standard with ads and Standard both let you watch on two devices at a time in 1080p high-definition, while Premium ups the ante to four simultaneous devices and 4K streaming for the best possible picture quality. If you want to share a plan with friends and family members, the Standard and Premium tiers let you add sub-accounts. An additional member account costs $7 a month with ads or $9 a month without ads. You can add one extra member with Standard or two extra members with Premium. See at Netflix Do you need to watch the entire Mission: Impossible series in order? Generally, most of the Mission: Impossible movies are at least somewhat standalone, especially Mission: Impossible 2. While I recommend watching the whole lineup in order, I recognize that not everyone has time for a commitment like that. MI2 is the most skippable of the franchise, so if you're pressed for time and not up for an eight-film romp, you can jump from Mission: Impossible to MI3 without missing much.

Fictional K-pop group Saja Boys dethrones BTS on Spotify charts
BTS are facing some unexpected competition as the fictional Saja Boys from Netflix movie K‑Pop Demon Hunters overtake them on Spotify's US chart. K‑Pop Demon Hunters, released on 20 June, is directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, and features a voice cast led by Teen Wolf's Arden Cho and popular K-drama star Ahn Hyo Seop along with May Hong and Yoo Ji Young. The supporting voice cast includes Kim Yun Jin, Daniel Dae Kim, Ken Jeong, and Squid Game's Lee Byung Hun. The movie has already set a Netflix record, earning the highest combined critic and audience score ever for an original production on Rotten Tomatoes. And now the villainous fictional boy band from the film have surpassed the South Korean icons on the US Spotify chart, climbing to the highest position ever by a K-pop boy band. Saja Boys' song 'Your Idol' hit No 2 on the US Spotify chart on Thursday, beating BTS' Grammy-nominated 'Dynamite', which charted at No 3 when it was released in 2020. here, have a saja boys poster 🫰 — Netflix (@netflix) June 29, 2025 Girl group HUNTR/X from the film isn't too far behind, sitting just behind Saja Boys at No 3 with their song 'Golden'. This, in fact, ties them with K-pop girl group Blackpink, who previously held the record for the highest US Spotify chart position by a female K-pop act. K‑Pop Demon Hunters follows K-pop girl group HUNTR/X who lead a double life as idols by day and demon hunters by night. Their powers stem from their music, which maintains a barrier known as the Honmoon to protect humans from soul-stealing demons. The band's mission, passed down generations, is challenged when a rival boy band, Saja Boys, turn out to be demons intent on collapsing the barrier. Since music is at the heart of the story, the animated film banks on top-tier talent from K-pop and international pop scenes for the soundtrack. The Saja Boys are voiced by singers Andrew Choi, Neckwav, and Danny Chung, former U-KISS member Kevin Woo, and samUIL Lee. HUNTR/X features vocals by singer-songwriter Ejae and singer-rappers Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami. The soundtrack debuted at No 8 on Billboard 200, making it the highest-charting soundtrack of 2025 to date. Behind the music are renowned producers such as Teddy Park of THEBLACKLABEL, known for his work with Taeyang and BLACKPINK, and Grammy winner Lindgren, who collaborates with BTS, TWICE, Dua Lipa, and John Legend. Grammy-nominated producer Stephen Kirk and hit songwriter Jenna Andrews, both of whom have worked with BTS, have also contributed. The soundtrack was overseen by executive music producer Ian Eisendrath, whose credits span Broadway and major television productions. BTS themselves seem to be fans of the music – frontman RM was seen singing Saja Boys' 'Soda Pop' on the band's first livestream together on fan platform Weverse after all the members returned from their military service. Shortly after the livestream, Netflix US joined in and jokingly changed the bio to read: 'BTS noticed Saja Boys 7.01.25.' The new album will be their first since the 2022 anthology Proof. The group last performed together at a Busan concert in October 2022, following which their management label BigHit Music announced that all seven members would undertake their mandatory military service.
