Sources Weigh In on Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble's Public Arguments

Cosmopolitan5 days ago
The Kardashian family has been on our screens for nearly 20 years (!), which means keeping up with their relationship dynamics has become second nature for reality TV buffs. Of course, that doesn't leave out their matriarch and ultimate momager, Kris Jenner's decade-long romance with Corey Gamble. Fans have been speculating that a breakup is on the horizon after the pair had a public tiff during Beyoncé's final Cowboy Carter show in Las Vegas on July 26.
Since then, insiders have weighed in on the argument between Kris and Corey, claiming that they constantly 'get on each other's nerves.'
'Kris and Corey will have these fights from time to time as they get on each other's nerves like any couple,' a source told the Daily Mail.
They added, 'Kris is not the easiest person to tame and keep at ease, and Corey usually lets her be. But sometimes, he can't take it and hits back and it all kicks off. This recent exchange was one of those moments.'
Per Page Six, the couple 'appeared to have an argument' during Beyoncé's concert, where an eye-witness claimed they had a 'visibly tense' conversation that made Kris walk away from Corey in the VIP section. The witness also claimed that Khloé Kardashian had to 'reassure' a 'frustrated' Corey after the interaction.
However, it seems that Kris still had a great time, according to this video she dropped on Instagram with Khloé and Oprah Winfrey. Casual!
The couple also reportedly got into it during Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding in Italy, where a lip reader allegedly caught them having a tense conversation. According to the lip reader, Corey told a porter, 'We're happy to travel on our own, it's what Kris would like to do,' while waiting for a boat with Kris, who reportedly said, 'What are you doing? Do you need to talk?...I told you... for God's sake... I'd like to travel alone.'
The Daily Mail's source revealed that Kris' recent reactions are 'the most relatable' thing about her. 'They're just a couple that gets sick of each other at times,' they added. 'These brief bust-ups are probably the most honest and relatable trait she has with people.'

Prince George allocated house despite royals being 'plagued by indecision' over Eton

It's looking more likely that Prince George is heading to Eton—despite Prince William and Kate Middleton feeling "plagued by indecision" about sending their eldest son there. According to the Daily Mail, Prince George has been "allocated a house" at the prestigious school amid staffing changes. "Eton has been going through much transition lately so that's perhaps why it wasn't an easy decision," an insider tells the outlet. "There has been a lot going on that isn't public knowledge but which Catherine would, of course, have been informed of. "She has been wise to wait and observe for a few more months for things to settle down, which it has thanks to Nicholas Coleridge's hand on the tiller and Simon Henderson's return–though that has its own dilemmas because he's not everyone's ideal Eton headmaster." Eton has 25 so-called houses of them and the most prestigious is King's Scholars—while both Prince Harry and Prince William attended the storied circa 18th century Manor House. There was previously some speculation that Wills and Kate would send George to Marlborough College instead of Eton, but that seems unlikely since another source recently told the Daily Mail that "all roads lead to Eton" and the school has been "smug" about it. As an insider put it, "It was like, 'I know something and the people at Eton know something, but I'm not going to tell you'. That was after William and Kate visited Eton." The speculation over where Prince George will be attending school comes shortly after a new portrait was shared of the future monarch to celebrate his twelfth birthday. The Prince and Princess of Wales shared a photo of their eldest child leaning against a gate and smiling in a lush outdoor setting. The picture, taken by Josh Shinner, who has produced plenty of other special shots for the family (including their black and white group portrait released last Christmas), was met with delight by fans. Given that George is now getting a little older, the young prince is being exposed more to a life of public service and duties, which he'll be undertaking as an adult. This has resulted in him making a few more appearances at sporting events. Teddi Mellencamp breaks silence on alleged horse trainer affair: Is cancer my ‘payback'?

Teddi Mellencamp is finally addressing her alleged infidelity. The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' alum, 44, appeared on Tuesday's episode of 'The Jamie Kern Lima Show' and opened up about her alleged affair with her horse trainer, Simon Schroeder, for the first time. 'I've never talked about it at all, just because of the kids, and I've never wanted anybody to have a guarantee whether it happened or didn't happen, but what I can say is, did I do things that hurt other people? Yes,' Mellencamp said on the podcast. Advertisement 11 Teddi Mellencamp on Jamie Kern Lima's podcast. 11 Teddi Mellencamp's horse trainer (right) with his wife. Facebook/Karli Postel 'To this day, does it still hurt my heart and I wonder if that's why it got cancer? Yes… like it was my payback,' she continued. 'So nothing goes without payment.' Advertisement In Nov., news broke that Mellencamp allegedly cheated on her husband of 13 years, Edwin Arroyave, with her horse trainer, who was also married at the time. That same month, Mellencamp filed for divorce from Arroyave, 48, with whom she shares daughter Slate, 12, son Cruz, 10, and daughter Dove, 5. 11 Edwin Arroyave and Teddi Mellencamp. 'However long it was, it was all over the press, it was everywhere,' Mellencamp told Kern Lima, 48. 'You're trying to minimize everybody's pain. You end up maximizing it. Because now not only do you have yourself, you have your significant other, your kids, the other person's significant other, their kids.' 11 Edwin Arroyave with Teddi Mellencamp. edwinarroyaveofficial/Instagram Advertisement 11 Teddi Mellencamp's horse trainer, Simon Schroeder, with his wife, Karli Postel. Facebook/Karli Postel 'So many people are hurt in the wreckage,' the former Bravo star continued. 'But I can say this from knowing — the wreckage doesn't happen on its own. I never had happened to me.' Mellencamp explained that she 'was so broken as a human being during that part of my life that I did things out of my better judgement.' 'I think I was so sick during that stage. I was looking for comfort anywhere I could get it,' she shared. 'I felt so much pain. I felt so sick. I didn't go to the doctors. I just felt some certain kind of way. And the pain was so much that I had gotten to the point of like, almost hating waking up in the morning, which I had never been that kind of person. I wasn't myself.' 11 Teddi Mellencamp in the hospital. Teddimellencamp/Instagram Mellencamp clarified that she wasn't blaming being sick for her alleged affair. 'But I do think a bunch of things happened in my life all around the same time, and I had zero control of any of them,' she stated. 'If he wanted to, he could still be filing and finishing this divorce off right now,' she said. 'But, my dad and family just said like, 'I don't think this is the right thing for her to be able to try to navigate right now or figure out.'' 'It was like, 'Yeah, of course. No, we'll wait. We'll wait until she's better, and then we'll figure it out,'' she added. 11 Teddi Mellencamp with her dad John Mellencamp and husband Edwin Arroyave. teddimellencamp/Instagram Advertisement The reality star, who was initially diagnosed with melanoma in 2022, announced in February that there were tumors discovered in her brain. Why did this happen to me?' she admitted about her cancer battle on the podcast. 'In my mind, I was so healthy. I was taking care of myself. I play sports.' Advertisement She also shared that she has a '50/50' prognosis from doctors, but is optimistic about her survival. 'I truly believe this when I say this — and it's gonna make me emotional — I truly believe that I'm gonna live,' she said. 'I need to believe it. 'Cause if not, it's just too sad.'

Meet the NYC artist turning Manhattan's streets into viral masterpieces: ‘A lot of people know me now'

For this artist, New York City is the only canvas big enough. When Benny Cruz picked up a paintbrush for the first time, he had no idea that his art would catapult him to the highest heights of social media. 'I always wanted to be a painter, until I reached a point where I wasn't going anywhere with my art,' the Swedish-born artist, 49, told The Post. 11 Artist Benny Cruz has found his rightful place in the New York City art scene. Courtesy @johnjohnsonphoto 'That was tough. Then and there, I started painting for myself.' Cruz, also known as 'Your Local Benny' on his social media, discovered only later in life that his work spoke to millions — many of them New Yorkers. 'I saw that a lot of people who followed me were from New York, and they started buying my art,' he said of his popular subway collection, pieces that sell for hundreds to thousands of dollars. 11 One of Cruz's window displays in NYC reads, 'New York is a [love] story worth telling.' Courtesy @johnjohnsonphoto 'So to think I felt I was going nowhere with my work, to now is a big difference. I started to get more and more relevant. I felt total darkness before, and New Yorkers brought the light.' The Brooklyn-based artist, who currently divides his time between New York and Sweden, where his family resides, experienced a boon to his career after picking up MTA subway maps and experimenting with text work over them. Cruz, who uses acrylics and markers on sustainable paper, has gained notice for his Manhattan street art in recent months. The pieces, spotted on subway cars across the Big Apple, soon reached every corner of social media, with many gathering thousands of likes, as well as New Yorkers — past, present and future — liking, sharing and posting his work. 'I felt total darkness before, and New Yorkers brought the light.' 'With New York, I feel an enormous sense of gratitude,' he said. 'I wanted to express my emotions, so I thought about the most symbolic aspect of the city: the subway. The subway connects every part of New York. From there, I found the map and started to make my art.' The prolific pieces soon racked up thousands of impressions on social media, making Cruz synonymous with subway-inspired artwork now woven into the city's fabric. 'These went completely viral because a lot of people, even people that live in New York, embraced it. And that's a huge scale of people. It's powerful, and there is emotion behind it. And I think that's the reason people resonate with my art,' added Cruz, who boasts 40,000 Instagram followers. 11 'The truck was the perfect canvas for me. I had been spotting this structure for a long time and finally asked for a permit from its owner,' Cruz told The Post. Courtesy @johnjohnsonphoto 11 Cruz, 49, garnered global recognition for his Manhattan street art in recent months. Courtesy @johnjohnsonphoto Cruz, who was once an apprentice under the late Chilean artist Alfredo Mosella, said he's finally found an artistic purpose. 'With text, I found home. It's the most simple but most complex way to express my emotions,' he said. 'I wasn't going to have a future with my art, but New York changed everything.' After obtaining a permit to write on a 'perfect' blank canvas — in the form of a truck parked outside 14th Street — Cruz crafted a message to New Yorkers who pass the stationed vehicle on their everyday commute. 'I'm aiming so high I keep forgetting I'm already living my dream,' reads text emblazoned on the truck, an Instagrammable backdrop for passersby. 11 The artist experienced a career boost after picking up MTA subway maps and experimenting with text over them. Courtesy @johnjohnsonphoto It is one of Cruz's most recognizable artworks, calling it his proud 'donation to the people of New York.' When asked about his favorite piece, he couldn't choose just one. 'I have several, but the first one for me is the one that went completely viral online. It says, 'New York, I have so much to thank you for.' I mean, that really went viral,' he explained. 11 His most viral piece to date is text that reads, 'New York, I have so much to thank you for.' Instagram / @bennycruz 11 'It's the most simple but most complex way to express my emotions,' Cruz said of his text-based art. Instagram / @bennycruz 'This other one I love says, 'She's got a soft heart but is New York tough.' And that one was successful because much of my audience is female. 'New York is a place you feel connected, and art connects people,' he added. 'I'm getting more involved with the city, and a lot of people know me now. Either they know me or my art.' Asked what he hopes his art will achieve, Cruz admits that legacy was never the goal for him. 'To be honest, I haven't thought about that. This started out because I wanted to express how I feel, and that's the core of my history. I still make art that is emotional and true to my expression. 'The only thing is, my relationship with New York has changed, but in a good way.' Still, Cruz revealed plans to host a large-scale art show in the Big Apple as soon as 2026 as his social media presence evolves. 11 His truck, parked on 14th Street, proudly serves as a backdrop to one of Cruz's most famous artworks. Courtesy @johnjohnsonphoto 11 Cruz said his art is his proud 'donation to the people of New York.' 'And it's like my artwork says, 'I'm aiming so high I keep forgetting I'm already living my dream.''
