Full list of Coronation Street cast returns and exits coming in 2025

Metro2 days ago
Changes are currently taking place at Coronation Street, and there's a lot going on.
There's been plenty of exits this year already – from Max Turner (Paddy Bever), who is now serving a six-year prison sentence, and Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King) who left for a new life in London.
Let's not forget Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) who also bid farewell to the cobbles earlier this month.
We've also been introduced to Kevin and Debbie Webster's (Michael Le Vell and Sue Devaney) estranged brother Carl (Jonathan Howard).
However, there are still plenty more changes ahead as we prepare to say goodbye to some beloved characters, as well as welcoming some familiar faces home.
Here's the lowdown on who's returning and who's leaving…
Fans rejoiced when news broke that Eva Price is set to return to Coronation Street, with Catherine Tyldesley reprising her role on a full-time basis.
The character was last on our screens in 2018, when she departed Weatherfield with daughter Susie, following Aidan Connor's devastating suicide.
Her storyline is set to be an 'unmissable' one, with Cath set to start filming in the Summer.
But will Eva have Susie by her side, and what will that mean for Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor)?
When is Eva Price returning to Coronation Street? Autumn 2025.
Amy Robbins will return to Coronation Street later this year, and her villainous alter-ego won't have changed her ways!
In her most recent stint, Christina has teamed up with daughter Daisy to enact a vicious plot on Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) – setting up a fake dating profile in the hope Jenny will give her savings to her new lover, while they'd secretly reap the benefits.
Despite Christina's exit this week, she will come back to Weatherfield soon.
When is Christina Boyd returning to Coronation Street? Currently unknown
Bethany Platt is set to return to the cobbles later this year as actress Lucy Fallon returns from maternity leave.
Bethany left the cobbles for a new job opportunity in London earlier this year, but she will be back before we know it, with Lucy already filming again.
She posted a selfie from her dressing room to Instagram, exciting fans ahead of the character's return.
'And just like that she's back,' the star wrote.
In April, a Coronation Street spokesperson confirmed to Metro that 'Lucy will be returning to filming in the summer after maternity leave, as always planned', and that 'Bethany will be back on screen in October'.
When is Bethany Platt returning to Coronation Street? October 2025.
Although she's only just left the show, executive producer Iain MacLeod has already teased a return for Gail.

'Helen and I have had a conversation where she's said, 'There might be times in my future where I'll come back',' he told The Daily Star.
'If there's a big storyline going on with the Platt family, she might want to come in and play a role in that.
'We certainly wanted to leave the door open so that was possible. We wanted that to still be on the cards.'
While there are no plans yet for the beloved character to return, we're hopeful we may see her again.
When is Gail Chadwick returning to Coronation Street? Currently unknown (when or if!).
Producer Kate Brooks as also teased returns for other characters, but her lips are tightly sealed.
'There are other familiar faces coming back in 2025 which I will not disclose, but a few people will be returning to the street to cause their own forms of chaos,' she told us.
Debbie Webster is set to be killed off in a harrowing storyline, which kicked off earlier this year.
Viewers have seen the character – first played by Sue Devaney in 1984 – diagnosed with dementia, with a long-running storyline planned as the disease takes hold.
It's one of many major plots new Corrie boss Kate Brooks has planned after taking the helm earlier this year.
A source exclusively told Metro 'there will not be a dry eye in the house' as Debbie's story unfolds, saying her exit will be 'one to remember for years'.
'It's one of the show's biggest storylines of the year and a real chance for Sue to finally get her time in the spotlight – it will just be devastating for fans that it will effectively be her final storyline,' the insider told us.
When is Debbie Webster leaving Coronation Street? 2027.

Star Adam Hussain has left his role as Aadi Alahan.
Taking to Instagram, Adam announced his departure with a sweet post.
'I guess the secrets out now! As some of you may have heard, I will be leaving Coronation Street for new pastures,' the actor penned, alongside a recent photo of the full Corrie cast.
'Over the 5 years I've spent there I have learned so much about the world and the industry and now feel I am ready to spread my wings a little. I have made friends that will last a lifetime and will surely miss such a special family!
'This isn't a farewell for Aadi however, more like a see you later!
'I'm excited to see what the future brings! Thank you Coronation Street for giving me such a privilege of portraying this character for you. Until next time!'
When is Aadi Alahan leaving Coronation Street? At the end of Summer.
A Coronation Street spokesperson has confirmed that newcomer Farrel Hegarty will leave alongside co-star Joe Layton later this year.
The duo arrived in the ITV soap in February as Lou and Mick Michaelis and were tipped to be the Battersby family of the 21st century.
However, just months after their high-profile arrival on Mawdsley Street, both actors are set to leave.
Branded the 'neighbours from hell' by show boss Kate Brooks, the couple have ruffled feathers throughout Weatherfield, sparking complaints from the likes of Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley).
When are Mick and Lou Michaelis leaving Coronation Street? Currently unknown.
It's been confirmed that Daniel Brocklebank is leaving Corrie, after playing vicar Billy Mayhew for the past 11 years.
Discussing his departure, Daniel said: 'I have been working on Corrie for a quarter of my life. I have adored every minute I have been in that building and have never not look forward to going into work.
He added: 'I love everyone who works on this show and whilst I am sad to be going, I am equally excited to see what the future holds.'
Producer of the show Kate Brooks noted: 'Billy will be involved in a major storyline over the coming months, which will see him tested in ways he never imagined, as friendships and his faith are pushed to the limit.
'We're incredibly sad to bid farewell to Dan, who has been fantastic in some of Corrie's biggest storylines over the past few years, most notably Paul's MND.
'An actor of immeasurable talent and skill, and an absolute treasure behind the scenes – he will be missed by all of us on the cobbles.'
When is Billy Mayhew leaving Coronation Street? Later this year.
2025 is also set to see some other characters make unexpected exits from the show, as Kate revealed. More Trending
'There are a few exits this year, and some unexpected ones that will send shockwaves. People might not expect the exits, but there are a few.'
Once again, she is keeping quiet about exactly who is set to say farewell, but it sounds like there will be more than one…

Lindsie Chrisley sparks marriage rumors with Instagram name change and loved-up photos in a white dress

Lindsie Chrisley is sparking rumors she's married. The former star of Chrisley Knows Best, 35, shared a carousel of images to her Instagram account. In them, she wore a white dress from Vestique as she walked the sandy beaches of Ponte Vedra, Florida hand in hand with the mystery man. She captioned the post, 'a little preoccupied,' and added a white heart. Eagle eyed fans also noticed she changed her last name on the social media app from Chrisley to Landsman. Her new boyfriend, David Landsman, also shared pics with Lindsie and her son Carter on his Instagram. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lindsie Landsman (@lindsiechrisley) Landsman also shared a very sappy sentiment to his Instagram Stories. 'The right person makes you fall in love three times: once with them, once with yourself, and once with life.' He added two pink hearts and a man and woman dancing emojis to his post. David's Instagram bio reads, 'Entrepreneur, Father, Christian, Dual License Expert empowering real estate agents to boost their commission with a mortgage license.' His website says, 'I can scale your real estate business and have a world-class team to support your growth goals. 'If you are a mortgage lender, real estate agent, team leader or brokerage owner, I will increase your productivity and maximize your profits.' They both posted about a weekend trip to Clemson, South Carolina where they took in a Savannah Bananas game with Lindsie's son Carter, 11. There's no word on how long Lindsie and David, who is a father himself, have been together or if they really are married. Lindsie's most recent relationship was with a man named Trent for about a year. They ended their relationship in January 2024. While Lindsie is surely happy her parents have been released from prison, earlier this year, she admitted she hadn't gone to see them since they were put behind bars. Speaking about the tense topic on an episode of her podcast, Southern Tea, in March, she revealed that she hadn't seen to her father Todd for over a year. Meanwhile, she also said she never been to visit her step-mom Julie Chrisley in the more than two years that the reality star was in prison. She candidly stated: 'The last time I visited my dad probably was … was it the beginning of last year? I can't even honestly remember. Lindsie continued: '[Nanny Faye and I] used to go together [to see my dad] when they first went [to prison]. 'It was just like, [a] more comfortable situation for both of us to go [and] stay in a hotel together. I have never been to Lexington to visit Julie.' Todd and his wife Julie were found guilty of committing tax evasion and bank fraud totaling $30 million in June 2022. Chrisley's 12-year sentence was reduced to 10 years, while his wife's seven-year sentence was cut to 14 months. She was a prisoner at Federal Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky from January 2023 until her release in June. Lindsie admitted: 'I have not seen my dad in quite some time and I have had no contact. And that's all I'm going to say for that.' Todd welcomed Lindsie and her brother, Kyle, during his first marriage to Teresa Terry and Julie adopted both of them when she and Todd wed.

Gallagher children watch Oasis homecoming gig with Pep Guardiola

More than 70,000 fans filled Heaton Park for the Britpop band's hotly anticipated first gig in Manchester for nearly 16 years on Friday night. Liam's two sons Lennon, 25, and Gene, 24, and Noel's three children Anais, 25, Donovan, 17 and Sonny, 14, were with Guardiola at the first of five sold-out shows. Gene, whose mum is Liam's ex-wife Nicole Appleton, shared the image to Instagram, with the caption: 'Pic of the century alright now everyone els f*** off.' A post shared by Gene Gallagher (@genegallagher) The 24-year-old has previously spoken of his friendship with his cousin Anais, and said: 'We're a big happy family.' His uncle Noel told crowds at the homecoming concert that he was aware that 'the boss', referring to Guardiola, the manager of the football team he supports, was in attendance. More than an hour before Oasis took to the stage, fans were filmed singing their own rendition of Live Forever. In video footage posted on social media by the band Cast, one of the support acts, crowds belted the hit out as they awaited the Gallaghers' arrival. At about 8.20pm, the brothers walked onto the stage together to deafening cheers from crowds. Liam held his older brother's hand and raised it, while he had his trademark maracas in his other fist. Greater Manchester Police said the event passed 'without incident', although six men were arrested and in custody for a range of reasons including being drunk and disorderly and on suspicion of drug and fraud offences. Five drones were also seized after breaches of air space restrictions. Assistant Chief Constable Matt Boyle said: 'We are really pleased to say that fans attending the concert tonight have been able to do so safely and without incident. 'We have had an extensive, highly visible presence at the venue and across the city today to ensure everyone's safety, and a dispersal notice covering Heaton Park remains in place until 2am tomorrow morning to allow us to deal with any anti-social behaviour robustly.' Bev Craig, the leader of Manchester City Council, said before the concert on Friday that the city was 'all set to welcome music fans from across the globe' for 'a supersonic string of hometown dates from Liam and Noel'. Councillor Craig added: 'The whole city is going all out to celebrate and help everyone have a good time. We've got some fantastic things going on with a real party atmosphere for everyone to enjoy, whether they have tickets for the Oasis gigs or not.' Manchester, T minus 2 minutes! See you down the front x 📸 @Benwalkertv #OasisLive2025 #heatonpark #cast #Manchester — Cast (@castofficial) July 11, 2025 She urged people without tickets not to travel to Heaton Park, warning that there is 'nothing for them to see or do there', instead suggesting they celebrate the reunion in the city centre. Temperatures were in the high 20s in Manchester on Friday evening and Oasis had told fans to prepare for 'extreme sun and heat'. In a post on social media, the band urged concertgoers to 'wear a (bucket) hat', put on sun screen, stay hydrated, seek shade and look after one another at Heaton Park. The five sold-out shows there follow the band's first comeback gigs in Cardiff last week. After Manchester, Oasis will visit London's Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium and Dublin's Croke Park throughout July, August and September. Their reunion announcement came after Noel had quit the band, saying he 'simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer', after a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in 2009. The brothers announced the Oasis Live '25 tour last August. While many fans were thrilled, some were left outraged after a number of standard tickets in the UK and Ireland jumped from £148 to £355. The controversy prompted the Government and the UK's competition watchdog to pledge to look at the use of dynamic pricing.
