Full list of Coronation Street cast returns and exits coming in 2025

Changes are currently taking place at Coronation Street, and there's a lot going on. There's been plenty of exits this year already – from Max Turner (Paddy Bever), who is now serving a six-year prison sentence, and Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King) who left for a new life in London. Let's not forget Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) who also bid farewell to the cobbles earlier this month. We've also been introduced to Kevin and Debbie Webster's (Michael Le Vell and Sue Devaney) estranged brother Carl (Jonathan Howard). However, there are still plenty more changes ahead as we prepare to say goodbye to some beloved characters, as well as welcoming some familiar faces home. Here's the lowdown on who's returning and who's leaving… Fans rejoiced when news broke that Eva Price is set to return to Coronation Street, with Catherine Tyldesley reprising her role on a full-time basis. The character was last on our screens in 2018, when she departed Weatherfield with daughter Susie, following Aidan Connor's devastating suicide. Her storyline is set to be an 'unmissable' one, with Cath set to start filming in the Summer. But will Eva have Susie by her side, and what will that mean for Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor)? When is Eva Price returning to Coronation Street? Autumn 2025. Amy Robbins will return to Coronation Street later this year, and her villainous alter-ego won't have changed her ways! In her most recent stint, Christina has teamed up with daughter Daisy to enact a vicious plot on Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) – setting up a fake dating profile in the hope Jenny will give her savings to her new lover, while they'd secretly reap the benefits. Despite Christina's exit this week, she will come back to Weatherfield soon. When is Christina Boyd returning to Coronation Street? Currently unknown Bethany Platt is set to return to the cobbles later this year as actress Lucy Fallon returns from maternity leave. Bethany left the cobbles for a new job opportunity in London earlier this year, but she will be back before we know it, with Lucy already filming again. She posted a selfie from her dressing room to Instagram, exciting fans ahead of the character's return. 'And just like that she's back,' the star wrote. In April, a Coronation Street spokesperson confirmed to Metro that 'Lucy will be returning to filming in the summer after maternity leave, as always planned', and that 'Bethany will be back on screen in October'. When is Bethany Platt returning to Coronation Street? October 2025. Although she's only just left the show, executive producer Iain MacLeod has already teased a return for Gail. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video 'Helen and I have had a conversation where she's said, 'There might be times in my future where I'll come back',' he told The Daily Star. 'If there's a big storyline going on with the Platt family, she might want to come in and play a role in that. 'We certainly wanted to leave the door open so that was possible. We wanted that to still be on the cards.' While there are no plans yet for the beloved character to return, we're hopeful we may see her again. When is Gail Chadwick returning to Coronation Street? Currently unknown (when or if!). Producer Kate Brooks as also teased returns for other characters, but her lips are tightly sealed. 'There are other familiar faces coming back in 2025 which I will not disclose, but a few people will be returning to the street to cause their own forms of chaos,' she told us. Debbie Webster is set to be killed off in a harrowing storyline, which kicked off earlier this year. Viewers have seen the character – first played by Sue Devaney in 1984 – diagnosed with dementia, with a long-running storyline planned as the disease takes hold. It's one of many major plots new Corrie boss Kate Brooks has planned after taking the helm earlier this year. A source exclusively told Metro 'there will not be a dry eye in the house' as Debbie's story unfolds, saying her exit will be 'one to remember for years'. 'It's one of the show's biggest storylines of the year and a real chance for Sue to finally get her time in the spotlight – it will just be devastating for fans that it will effectively be her final storyline,' the insider told us. When is Debbie Webster leaving Coronation Street? 2027. The present regular cast of Coronation Street is made up of: William Roache as Ken Barlow Barbara Knox as Rita Sullivan Kate Ford as Tracy Barlow Sue Nicholls as Audrey Roberts Ben Price as Nick Tilsley Michael La Vell as Kevin Webster Sue Devaney as Debbie Webster Sally Ann Matthews as Jenny Connor Sally Dynevor as Sally Metcalfe Tina O'Brien as Sarah Platt Simon Gregson as Steve McDonald Jack P. Shepherd as David Platt Rob Mallard as Daniel Osbourne David Neilson as Roy Cropper Jane Danson as Leanne Battersby Georgia Taylor as Toyah Battersby Alan Halsall as Tyrone Dobbs Jimmi Harkishin as Dev Alahan Samia Longchambon as Maria Connor Andy Whyment as Kirk Sutherland Gareth Pierce as Todd Grimshaw Sam Robertson as Adam Barlow Jennie McAlpine as Fiz Dobbs Antony Cotton as Sean Tully Sam Aston as Chesney Brown Elle Mulvaney as Amy Barlow Adam Hussain as Aadi Alahan Tanisha Gorey as Asha Alahan Ryan Prescott as Ryan Connor Alison King as Carla Connor Liam McCheyne as Dylan Wilson Mikey North as Gary Windass Patti Clare as Mary Taylor Charlie Wrenshall as Liam Connor Jr. Peter Gunn as Brian Packham Cherylee Houston as Izzy Armstrong Kyran Bowes as Jack Webster Isabella Flanagan as Hope Stape William Flanagan as Joseph Brown Billie Naylor as Ruby Dobbs Joe Duttine as Tim Metcalfe Bobby Bradshaw as Jake Windass Brooke Malonie as Lily Platt Sair Khan as Alya Nazir Carter-J Murphy as Harry Platt Dolly-Rose Campbell as Gemma Winter Daniel Brocklebank as Billy Mayhew Liam Bairstow as Alex Warner Julie Goulding as Shona Platt Harriet Bibby as Summer Spellman Sally Carman as Abi Webster Trevor Michael Georges as Ed Bailey Ryan Russell as Michael Bailey Jane Hazlegrove as Bernie Winter Mollie Gallagher as Nina Lucas Tony Maudsley as George Shuttleworth Jude Riordan as Sam Blakeman Vinta Morgan as Ronnie Bailey Vicky Myers as DS Lisa Swain Jodie Prenger as Glenda Shuttleworth Channique Sterling-Brown as Dee Dee Bailey Cait Fitton as Lauren Bolton Claire Sweeney as Cassie Plummer Jacob Roberts as DC Kit Green Sydney Martin as Betsy Swain Star Adam Hussain has left his role as Aadi Alahan. Taking to Instagram, Adam announced his departure with a sweet post. 'I guess the secrets out now! As some of you may have heard, I will be leaving Coronation Street for new pastures,' the actor penned, alongside a recent photo of the full Corrie cast. 'Over the 5 years I've spent there I have learned so much about the world and the industry and now feel I am ready to spread my wings a little. I have made friends that will last a lifetime and will surely miss such a special family! 'This isn't a farewell for Aadi however, more like a see you later! 'I'm excited to see what the future brings! Thank you Coronation Street for giving me such a privilege of portraying this character for you. Until next time!' When is Aadi Alahan leaving Coronation Street? At the end of Summer. A Coronation Street spokesperson has confirmed that newcomer Farrel Hegarty will leave alongside co-star Joe Layton later this year. The duo arrived in the ITV soap in February as Lou and Mick Michaelis and were tipped to be the Battersby family of the 21st century. However, just months after their high-profile arrival on Mawdsley Street, both actors are set to leave. Branded the 'neighbours from hell' by show boss Kate Brooks, the couple have ruffled feathers throughout Weatherfield, sparking complaints from the likes of Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley). When are Mick and Lou Michaelis leaving Coronation Street? Currently unknown. It's been confirmed that Daniel Brocklebank is leaving Corrie, after playing vicar Billy Mayhew for the past 11 years. Discussing his departure, Daniel said: 'I have been working on Corrie for a quarter of my life. I have adored every minute I have been in that building and have never not look forward to going into work. He added: 'I love everyone who works on this show and whilst I am sad to be going, I am equally excited to see what the future holds.' Producer of the show Kate Brooks noted: 'Billy will be involved in a major storyline over the coming months, which will see him tested in ways he never imagined, as friendships and his faith are pushed to the limit. 'We're incredibly sad to bid farewell to Dan, who has been fantastic in some of Corrie's biggest storylines over the past few years, most notably Paul's MND. 'An actor of immeasurable talent and skill, and an absolute treasure behind the scenes – he will be missed by all of us on the cobbles.' When is Billy Mayhew leaving Coronation Street? Later this year. 2025 is also set to see some other characters make unexpected exits from the show, as Kate revealed. More Trending 'There are a few exits this year, and some unexpected ones that will send shockwaves. People might not expect the exits, but there are a few.' Once again, she is keeping quiet about exactly who is set to say farewell, but it sounds like there will be more than one… This article was originally published on November 25, 2024.
