Emma Roberts Avoids Washing Her Hair On Vacation
In an interview with Popsugar, the 34-year-old American Horror Story actor revealed she has "no shame" about not washing her hair on vacation.
Speaking with the publication, Emma broke down how, while she's away on a trip like Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, there are two constants: reading books by the pool and avoiding shampoos and conditioners.
"I try not to wash my hair on vacation. I put my hair into braids and jump in the ocean," Emma said. "That's what I do instead of shampoo and conditioner."
Emma explained that she's run into problems when mixing her freshly colored hair with random hotel products, so she opts for the more natural approach of an ocean cleanse. "I've washed my hair when I've just dyed it and it's turned a crazy color," she said. "When I have blond hair it's turned yellow, and when I've had red hair it washes it all out. So I get so scared to really give my hair a real wash."
According to Popsugar, Emma goes as long as five days without washing her hair. "I try to get a blowout the day before I leave for vacation, and then I will ride that blowout into the dry-shampoo end."
"I don't care, I just dry-shampoo and jump in the ocean," Emma added. "I have no shame about it . . . Nothing looks better than saltwater hair."
So, there you have it! If you were wondering why Emma was all smiles in that viral video on the beach, it's probably because she can't wait to jump into the ocean to naturally wash her hair.

Carlos Alcaraz Does Not Have a Wife at Wimbledon
Carlos Alcaraz Does Not Have a Wife at Wimbledon originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Girlfriend? Wife? Not even close. Carlos Alcaraz may be smashing his way through Wimbledon, but his love life isn't following like usual. Advertisement The 22-year-old Spanish star is set to face Jannik Sinner in the Wimbledon final today, but off the court, fans seem just as invested in his relationship status as they are in his forehand. With Emma Raducanu spotted in the stands during one of his matches, rumors flew faster than an Alcaraz return. Many wondered, are they dating? Alcaraz answered that question himself. 'No, I am single,' he told The Times in June 2024. 'I am looking for someone. It can be difficult as a tennis player to meet the right person because you are travelling all the time.' Fans of tennis star Carlos Alcaraz are clearly invested on the status of his lovelife.© Susan Mullane-Imagn Images Raducanu also addressed the buzz. In a conversation with the BBC, she laughed off the gossip. 'Glad the internet is having fun and we're providing some entertainment for everyone,' she said. Advertisement The two go way back, according to Raducanu. 'We both started getting to know each other when I had that little run at Wimbledon and he had the five set [match] in the first round in 2021,' she told 'Ever since we've stayed in touch.' So no, he's not married. And no, Emma's not his girlfriend. Alcaraz has made it clear, he's married to the game for now. As the timing isn't exactly ideal for him to commit himself. As he steps onto the court today to chase his third Wimbledon title, his heart belongs to tennis. The only match he's locked into right now? The one against Sinner. This city centre pub is buzzing with live acts and events
Potters is a staple of Newport. There's no other way around it. It sits on the corner of Upper Dock Street, with an unassuming exterior that quickly becomes something entirely different once you step inside. While most may call in for a quick pint after work or for a delicious meal during a lunch break, may more people flock to Potters during the weekend to make the most of their extensive entertainment options. The pub becomes a makeshift dancefloor after dark (Image: Facebook) It begins on a Friday evening, when the bottom section of the pub is cleared into a makeshift dancefloor in the late afternoon, before a live band takes over for the remainder of the night. Live music returns every Saturday evening, keeping regulars and newcomers entertained until the early hours. The venue is over 25s only during these times, allowing those customers that may be a little older feel welcome and giving them their own space in a city with plenty of options for the 'younger crowd'. Manager Emma Gorvett believes that people want a reason to come out and that the promise of a pint isn't enough anymore – this is why Potters is dedicated to putting on events for their customers every single weekend. Bands work hard to entertain audiences every weekend (Image: Facebook) It's not just the usual cover bands that Potters will host; they were a part of the 'Pirates of 'Port' sea shanty festival that took place earlier this year and, while many of the regulars weren't too impressed, Emma stands by the fact that you should try anything once. She said: 'You have to try new things! How will you ever know if they work or not? 'People want a reason to come out and we give it to them.' Potters' roof terrace is a talking point for most of Newport and a novelty for the city. A DJ takes over the space during the weekend, elevating the peaceful vibes to a party atmosphere. Their rooftop bar is a novelty for the city (Image: Facebook) Alongside the more traditional entertainment options, wellbeing groups meet in the space during the week. These groups include anything from Veterans and adoption support groups to groups of people that simply meet up every week for a chat. Emma said: 'They don't treat us like a pub; they use us like a meeting room – it's a really important part of what we do.' There's a lot of love in Newport and it feels like it starts here in Potters.

Girl Confronts Parents Are Learning Secret They Were Hiding: 'How Dare You'
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A married couple took a solo trip away without their kids, only for their daughter to outrageously present them with evidence weeks later. Nayeli Tirado, 33, an educator and content creator, lives in Yuma, Arizona, with her husband Orlando, 36, and their two children: Emma, six, and five-month-old Luca. Recently, Tirado and her husband embarked on an adults-only getaway, which she told Newsweek they "don't do often, but it was really special to have that one-on-one time as a couple." The couple hit Disneyland—somewhere they've been before with their children, Tirado describing it as "the Disney love runs deep" in their family. "We love going to Vegas, we love going wine tasting and little getaways like that too, but we also genuinely love Disneyland," she explained. "And we truly believe it can be enjoyed with children and without children; and both experiences, although very different, are magical in their own unique ways." Nayeli Tirado's daughter, Emma, with the 'no kids' Disney badges. Nayeli Tirado's daughter, Emma, with the 'no kids' Disney badges. Instagram @ While on their trip, they got special Disney badges which declared they were celebrating having "no kids" with them—and after their return, the badges were discovered by none other than their daughter Emma. "Her reaction was hilarious," Tirado said, clarifying their daughter knew about the solo trip and was presented with souvenirs on their return. "She found the pins a couple of weeks later in our 'Disneyland Box,' and since she recently started reading, she spotted the 'no kids'—that's when I pulled out my phone and caught her cute dramatic reaction." In a video shared to Tirado's Instagram account, @ in May, she recorded six-year-old Emma holding up the evidence to the camera, and repeatedly demanding: "How dare you?" Emma, wearing a Disney's Lilo & Stitch t-shirt, is smiling as she confronts her mother with the pins, and Tirado, too, can be heard laughing behind the camera. She wrote in the caption: "Hide the evidence better, people!" Tirado said her daughter "has such a great sense of humor, and her ability to catch on to sarcasm and joke about things like that is one of my favorite things about her." Viewers had a huge reaction, awarding the video close to half a million likes, as one commenter joked: "As a bartender that works at Disney World, I pour extra heavy when I see pins like this." Another shared that she and her husband had day passes to Disneyland, and would go on "day dates" while "the kids were in school." Some were outraged on Emma's behalf, as one wrote: "I couldn't fathom my husband and I going to Disney without our kids. That's so weird to me I wouldn't even have a good time," and another said: "I think it's weird when grown-ups go to Disney without children." Read more 3-year-oId wants to go to Disneyland for birthday, parents did one better 3-year-oId wants to go to Disneyland for birthday, parents did one better But another admitted the only thing that annoyed her about the video was "my husband and I never thought to get one of those pins on our trips with no kids." Responding to the criticism, Tirado said they believe "it's healthy for adults in general to take little breaks when possible, even if it's to a place as magical as Disney. For parents, a little recharge goes a long way for the whole family." She added that they live relatively close to the theme park, "so going often, and even occasionally without the kids, doesn't feel strange to us," but understood that it might have appeared odd to people to whom a Disney trip means flights, detailed planning, and long hotel stays. In 2023, Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, was the most visited theme park in the world, with 17.72 million visitors. Anaheim, California's Disneyland, where Tirado's family regularly visits, was second—coming in at 17.25 annual visitors, according to Statista. And, Tirado revealed, she and her husband had a surprise trip to Disney planned for their daughter just weeks later. To celebrate her graduating from kindergarten, they pretended they were taking her to school, only to reveal they were on the way to the theme park instead. "It was such a heartfelt moment, and seeing her reaction was everything," proud mom Tirado said. "At the end of the day, we believe it's healthy for parents to have alone time and to occasionally do the things they enjoyed before having children without feeling guilty about it. We believe that when parents take care of themselves, they show up even better for their families. "And if you're someone who grew up going to Disney and find comfort in that place, it's okay to come back and reminisce." Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures you want to share?
