Daniel Craig's best James Bond movie is available to stream on ITV now
A James Bond movie starring Daniel Craig that has been described as the most 'visually stunning' in the franchise is now available to stream on a major UK platform. In what is a huge win for devoted 007 fans, Skyfall has arrived on ITVX more than a decade after its release in 2012. Starring Javier Barden, Judie Dench and Ralph Fiennes, the thriller was a smash hit amongst fans and critics. It was also the third of Craig's performances, directed by Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes, who is known for 1917 and American Beauty, and shot by Roger Deakins. Taking to social media, @CinemaTweets1 said: 'Javier Bardem's performance as Raoul Silva is my favorite James Bond villain ever. Skyfall honestly feels like a stand-alone film or outlier from the rest of the Bond series given the creative decisions made by Sam Mendes. Bardem is also a big reason- he's a worthy adversary.' @BestMovieMom added: 'Skyfall will remain the most visually stunning James Bond film for a long time.' @Danimalish also said: 'Whenever I watch SKYFALL I'm convinced I'm watching the best James Bond film. 'From Daniel Craig's steely performance to the incredible supporting cast including Judi Dench, to of course Roger Deakins' immaculate cinematography. This was the peak of the Daniel Craig era.' Meanwhile, @TheCinesthetic wrote: 'As the third film in Craig's run, Skyfall isn't just a great Bond film…it's a visual triumph. Roger Deakins turned espionage into art.' The film follows Bond as he pursues an assassin in Istanbul to retrieve a stolen list containing the identities of undercover agents. However, the plan goes disastrously wrong, leaving Chief M (Dench) forced to take drastic action. The espionage thriller was nominated for five Oscars and went on to claim two of them for Best Sound Editing and Best Original Song, which was given to Adele. Its move on to ITVX comes as ITV dropped all episodes of a gripping crime thriller that fans hailed as 'phenomenal'. The tense eight-episode drama, Under the Bridge, has finally landed on ITV for viewers to watch for free in the UK, and you are in for an emotional rollercoaster. The 2024 series stars Oscar nominee Lily Gladstone opposite Daisy Jones and the Six actor Riley Keough. More Trending Elsewhere in the James Bond universe, Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight was named as the screenwriter for the latest Bond film. Amazon MGM onfirmed on social media on Thursday night that Knight will pen the script for the next instalment. The announcement follows an intensive search by Amazon MGM, which gained full creative control of the Bond series earlier this year from Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. Strictly Come Dancing star Wynne Evans splits from fiancée weeks after proposing
The opera singer hinted that his relationship with business owner Liz Brookes was "not healthy" Strictly Come Dancing's Wynne Evans has revealed he's parted ways with his fiancée Liz Brookes, just weeks after popping the question during a romantic Moroccan getaway. The Welsh opera singer hinted at an "unhealthy" relationship in a Facebook Live broadcast on Saturday, August 2, and confessed he's already dipping his toes back into the dating pool. Rumours of the couple's split started circulating last month when eagle-eyed fans spotted that Wynne had removed his engagement announcement from Instagram and stopped following Liz on social media. It now seems their romance has come to a definitive end. Insiders confided to the Daily Mail that the split was triggered by Wynne's hectic schedule since he decided to launch his own restaurant in his hometown of Carmarthen, whilst also kicking off his own radio show, set to be based in the eatery, reports the Mirror. The source disclosed: "Wynne and Liz called off their engagement a few weeks ago. The strain of his new business ventures led to a major disagreement. "Initially, there was hope they would reconcile once the bad feelings subsided, as they had broken up before and managed to mend things. "But with Wynne actively seeking new dates and publicly labelling the relationship as 'not healthy', it's safe to say they've permanently split this time." The Mirror has reached out to Wynne Evans' representatives for a statement. Liz, who operates a thriving events business in Wales, initially encountered Wynne in 2024 when he entertained guests at one of her company's corporate gatherings. She became a familiar face in the audience throughout his Strictly journey, frequently supporting him from the sidelines and posting encouraging messages across social media platforms. Wynne had previously credited Liz with motivating his fitness regime ahead of his BBC appearance, telling a podcast presenter: "I go out running with my girlfriend and stuff and I feel much better for it". Wynne popped the question to Liz in June, documenting the special moment on Instagram with a collection of photographs, including a detailed shot of her engagement ring. He wrote alongside the post: "Big news... I got engaged! This weekend in Morocco, somewhere between the couscous, the camels, and me limping around the souks like a man with no spatial awareness, I proposed to Liz - and she said yes! (No take-backs, I've checked.)". "She's clever, she's kind, she's got excellent taste in men. Absolutely no idea how I pulled that off, but here we are! Feeling very lucky, very happy, and just a tiny bit smug." The pair's split arrives during a challenging year for the Go Compare star, who was axed by the BBC earlier this year following a contentious "spit roast" remark during the Strictly live tour. While Wynne subsequently clarified the phrase related to fellow contestant Jamie Borthwick rather than presenter Janette Manrara as initially reported, he maintained he was compelled to issue an apology and has since severed ties with BBC Radio Wales. He has subsequently launched his own internet radio programme and established a wine bar and eatery called Welsh House by Wynne, which he pledged would feature MasterChef -style dishes on the menu as a tribute to his stint on the cookery programme.

Strictly Come Dancing's Dianne Buswell shares huge update on rumoured celebrity line-up
Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell has now added more weight to the rumours that former Neighbours star Stefan Dennis is joining the popular BBC dancing competition With just weeks until Strictly Come Dancing hits our screens once again, the rumour mill has gathered even more momentum as the celebrity line-up has become a subject of discussion among fans. And now, professional dancer Dianne Buswell has added more fuel to the rumours after lifting the lid on one person in particular, who may be joining this year's line-up. Step forward Australian actor Stefan Dennis, who is famed for his role as Paul Robinson in Neighbours. So far, it has been suggested that Stefan, former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison, Stacey Solomon and former Coronation Street Helen Flanagan will be taking to the dancefloor this year. This comes after Cruz Beckham 'steals' his dad's tiny white trunks and family have epic response. While on her podcast Winning Isn't Everything, which she co-hosts with her dance partner from last year Chris McCausland, she let slip that she had heard Stefan was joining the BBC show. When asked by Chris who will be donning the infamous sequinned outfits, she responded saying: "I have no idea, Chris!" However, she hen continued: "I heard that there's going be someone from Neighbours, which would be sick! I would love to dance with an Aussie!" Chris replied: "I loved Neighbours when I was younger." Dianne went on to say: "That's what I've heard. Someone told me this. Was it you, actually? No, you didn't tell me. "Someone told me, 'Oh, word on the street is there's a guy from Neighbours that's gonna be in it'. And I was like, 'Oh, that would be sick! That would be so cool!'". Not realising the level of popularity associated with Paul in the UK, she asked Chris: "Is he a big deal? Was he popular?" Over the years, the BBC have done their best to freshen up the professional dancers line-up. And this year, the broadcaster confirmed that Amy Dowden, Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Gorka Marquez, and Luba Mushtuk, will be taking to the dancefloor for the show. In addition, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Michelle Tsiakkas, Aljaž Škorjanec, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, Nikita Kuzmin and Vito Coppola will also be dancing on Strictly this year, too. Last month, lead judge Shirley Ballas was confirmed to be resuming her role alongside Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke. Appearing on This Morning Shirley said: "What I can tell you is, we have two fabulous professionals coming and joining the show. They are amazing really.
