Richmond Hill acupuncturist accused of sexually assaulting patient on two different occasions
Police have arrested a 57-year-old Richmond Hill man after an individual reported being sexually assaulted by their acupuncturist on two separate occasions.
Police say that the victim first came forward on May 26.
It is alleged they attended a clinic in the area of Highway 7 East and Chalmers Road on two separate occasions and were sexually assaulted both times.
Police say that Heng Guang Shen was arrested on May 28 and charged with two counts of sexual assault in connection with the investigation.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims and are releasing an image of the accused as they appeal for information, police say.

Shay Bernard Crawford entered into a consent agreement with B.C.'s Commissioner for Teacher Regulation last month, and the document was posted online Tuesday. The teacher was charged with one count of sexual assault in 2021 and suspended indefinitely roughly a month later after he informed the teacher regulation branch that he had been charged with a crime, the agreement said. 'He did not provide further information about the charge,' according to the document. In 2023, Crawford was handed a conditional sentence of two years less a day, and one year of probation, the agreement said. 'The trial judge stated in the reasons for sentence that Crawford's 'moral culpability' and blameworthiness are indeed high,' that he was 'not genuinely remorseful,' and that he made statements that blamed the victim for his offence,' according to the document. An appeal of his conviction in 2025 was unsuccessful. The commissioner cited several factors explaining why a licence cancellation and 10-year ban were imposed. 'Sexual assault is a serious matter that deprives another person of their bodily integrity,' the document said. 'Crawford is presently not a person of good moral character and otherwise fit and proper to work as a teacher in a position of trust and authority.'

'Although the operation was active, it remained isolated and confined to a specific area under police control. As such, it did not meet the criteria for a broadcast intrusive emergency alert,' he said. Article content As of Tuesday afternoon, Gray remained 'outstanding,' he said, and the search was continuing. Article content On his Facebook page, last updated in April 2019, Gray described himself as a mechanic at Bracebridge Yamaha, but he hasn't worked there since 2017. 'It was before my time and actually the guys here never worked with him, either. The new owners never met him,' said service advisor Greg Williams. Article content It could take weeks to identify the two bodies found inside the house gutted by fire.
