Woman, man hospitalized after SUV, motorcycle crash in Lochaber, N.S.
An RCMP vehicle is seen in this file photo. (CTV News Regina) A senior man and a woman were hospitalized following a crash between an SUV and a motorcycle in Lochaber, N.S., last week. Police responded to the reported collision on Highway 7 around 2:10 p.m. last Saturday, according to an RCMP news release. Officers learned a Harley Davidson motorcycle and Nissan Rogue collided on the road. The 62-year-old female driver of the motorcycle went to hospital with serious injuries. 1 dead, 1 injured following crash on Hwy. 7 in Central Frontenac, OPP investigating

(Source: OPP Central Region) The Ontario Provincial police (OPP) is investigating a collision that left one dead and another injured on Highway 7 in Central Frontenac Township Saturday afternoon. Police say they received a call at around 4 p.m., reporting a serious collision between a car and a coach bus on the highway between McQuaid Road and Silver Lake Provincial Park. Officers say the person who died was the driver of the car, a 29-year-old from Kitchener, Ont. The driver of the coach bus, which was carrying over 30 passengers, was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries. No other injuries were reported, according to police. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122, or Crime stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 to remain anonymous.

N.S. RCMP continue search for missing Sheet Harbour man
Brian John Matthew Warrington was last seen on May 25 in Sheet Harbour, N.S. (Source: RCMP) The RCMP is continuing to search for 40-year-old Brian John Matthew Warrington, who was last seen on May 25 in Sheet Harbour, N.S. Ground search and rescue (GSAR) teams, RCMP and GSAR remotely piloted aircraft system operators have been searching the Sheet Harbour area, along the East River and on Highway 7 and Highway 224, since Warrington disappeared. Police say Warrington is known to hitchhike. He is described as six-feet-tall and 210 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He walks with a limp. There is currently no clothing description available. Investigators are trying to establish a timeline of Warrington's disappearance. They are asking anyone with camera footage, especially dashcam video of Highway 7 in Sheet Harbour from 4 p.m. on May 24 to 9 p.m. on May 25, to contact police. Remains found near Saskatoon identified as Chad Romanski, death considered a homicide
Police say they have identified human remains found near Saskatoon last week as Chad Romanski of Saskatoon and are now treating the death as a homicide. In a news release, the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) said the remains were found off Highway 7, west of the city, on June 4. Police have not said how far outside of the city or how far off the highway the body was found, or how it was discovered. The release said investigation by SPS and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service confirmed the remains belong to 31-year-old Romanski. Police say they are treating the death as a homicide.

Saskatoon police treating discovery of body off Highway 7 as homicide
WATCH: Police are working to determine if there was foul play involved after human remains were uncovered west of Saskatoon on Wednesday. Saskatoon police are investigating the discovery of human remains west of the city as a homicide. The remains were discovered off Highway 7 west of Saskatoon on Wednesday, with forensic investigators examining the scene alongside a provincial coroner. Now, police say the remains have been identified as 31-year-old Chad Romanski. In a news release Monday, police said after a forensic examination, they're treating his death as a homicide. Anyone with relevant information about Romanski, a Saskatoon man, is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
