
Lamborghini quarterly revenue up 29.6% as hybrid models boost deliveries
Lamborghini, part of Germany's Volkswagen group (VOWG.DE), opens new tab, also made an operating profit (EBIT) of 248.1 million euros, up 32.8% from the same period in 2024.

The carmaker delivered 2,967 cars in the first quarter of 2025, with the Americas showing a 21% increase, and EMEA and APAC regions also seeing growth. EMEA deliveries rose by 7% to 1,368 units, and APAC deliveries increased by 14% to 565 units.
CEO Stephan Winkelmann stated that the first-quarter results underscore the strength of the brand, even amid economic uncertainty.
"2025 opened with a solid performance, confirming the continuity of a path of sustainable financial growth. Our commitment remains focused on creating lasting value for our stakeholders, maintaining our long-term vision based on economic solidity and environmental responsibility," CFO Paolo Poma said in a statement.

Swiss to resume flights to Tel Aviv at end of September
BERLIN, July 23 (Reuters) - Swiss International Airlines, part of the Lufthansa group, will resume flights to Tel Aviv in Israel on September 29, the airline said on Wednesday after deciding in June to suspend the route as regional tensions escalated. "A renewed assessment of the situation has shown that an earlier resumption is possible," it said in a statement, adding flights to Beirut in Lebanon would resume, as planned, from August 3.

Operating profit at Moncler slid 13% in H1 due to marketing spend
MILAN, July 23 (Reuters) - Operating profit at Italy's Moncler ( opens new tab declined 13% in the first half of the year, as marketing expenses were weighted towards that period, while revenues rose slightly, the Italian luxury outerwear group said on Wednesday. Half-year consolidated revenues rose 1% at constant exchange rates to 1.23 billion euros ($1.41 billion), broadly in line with a company-provided consensus, with the key Moncler brand affected by a decline in tourist spending in Europe. The first half operating profit totalled 225 million euros, slightly above analysts expectation of a drop to 222 million euros. ($1 = 0.8529 euros)
