Midland detectives have charged a man over an alleged road rage incident that left a man with serious injuries to both his legs after being pinned between cars. Police said the alleged attack unfolded on Saturday morning after an incident between the accused, a 69-year-old man, and a 57-year-old man. The 57-year-old was driving a silver Ford Mustang coupe when he allegedly became involved in a minor crash with the 69-year-old near the intersection of Morrison and Farrell roads in Midvale at 11.15 am. The 69-year-old fled the scene but was later found by police at a nearby fast-food restaurant, where he was taken into custody. He was charged with unlawful damage, common assault and grievous bodily harm. The man was granted bail, and he is next due to appear before Midland Magistrates Court on July 25.
