The New York Giants believe they finally have a long-term plan at the quarterback position.
Some of their top-skill players are already beginning to see it.

New York signed Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston to free-agent contracts this offseason. The goal was for both signal-callers to mentor a future draft pick. When the team selected Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart with the 25th overall pick in April's draft, the organization believed their quarterback struggles were over.

But for now? Young former fifth-round pick turned lead running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. - the team's top offensive weapon this side of Malik Nabers - has been thrilled with what he has seen from all three signal-callers.
"I think the first thing that you want to pick out is that the leadership in the room will really help out everybody in the locker room and on the team," Tracy said during an appearance on Good Morning Football this week. "Obviously, you've got Russ, Mr. Unlimited. Then, you've got Jameis - he's the one that has the personality...And then you've got Jaxson Dart, Mr. Cool Dude, coming in with the swagger..."

"They bring a lot of different pieces that we need."
Wilson remains the favorite to start for New York going into the 2025 season. Make no mistake, though. The current regime will sink or swim with Dart in the future.
By surrounding him with quality veteran leaders, the Giants believe they are putting Dart in a position to succeed. As a running back, Tracy is happy with what he has seen from his signal-caller teammates
Time will tell if that ends up working out, though, as a looming "competition'' or a looming "controversy.''

BRISTOL, Conn. (AP) — Oklahoma City's 103-91 victory over Indiana in Game 7 was the most-watched NBA Finals game in six years. Sunday night's game averaged 16.53 million on ABC and ESPN+ according to preliminary ratings data from Nielsen. The audience peaked at 19.28 million during the second half (9:45-10 p.m. EDT). Advertisement It is the first time since Toronto wrapped up its title in Game 6 against Golden State in 2019 (18.34 million) that the finals have had an audience over 16 million. The last Game 7, when Cleveland beat Golden State in 2016, averaged 31.02 million. The seven-game series averaged 10.27 million, down from the 11.31 million average for Boston's victory over Dallas in five games last year. The seven games were the most-watched television broadcasts since the first week of May.
