Hamas Submits Positive Response to Ceasefire Proposal, Signals Readiness for Immediate Negotiations
In a statement, Hamas confirmed it had 'completed its internal consultations with Palestinian factions and forces regarding the mediators' latest proposal to stop the aggression against our people in Gaza,' adding that the official reply had been delivered to mediators and was marked by a spirit of 'positivity.'
The group emphasized its 'serious readiness to enter immediately into a round of negotiations on the mechanism for implementing this framework,' referring to the ceasefire proposal aimed at halting Israeli military operations that have persisted since October 7, 2023.
Media outlets earlier reported that Hamas's response signaled general approval of the proposal's core components while requesting 'minor and formal amendments.' According to those sources, the movement also reaffirmed the need to uphold the humanitarian protocol and voiced concerns about the structure and role of the proposed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, calling for increased involvement by United Nations organizations.
On the Israeli side, a government official told Channel 12 that indirect negotiations between the parties are expected to commence following Hamas's response. 'After Hamas's response, indirect talks will begin between the two sides,' the official said, noting that an Israeli delegation may travel to Doha to participate in negotiations. 'These negotiations may not take more than a day and a half,' the source added.
The Israeli Cabinet is expected to address the prisoner exchange file and the current state of affairs in Gaza on Saturday, according to Israeli media. Reports indicate that a tense meeting took place on Thursday, with heated exchanges between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, currently facing charges at the International Criminal Court, and Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir.
Separately, Yediot Aharonot cited an Israeli source who claimed that if an agreement is reached, the announcement could be made jointly by Netanyahu and former U.S. President Donald Trump during their scheduled meeting in Washington next Monday.

UK Court Rejects Appeal to Stop ‘Palestine Action Ban
DaysofPal—The UK-based activist group Palestine Action has failed in its bid to overturn a government decision banning the organization, as the High Court in London dismissed its appeal to suspend the order. A High Court judge denied the group's request to block the UK government's decision to designate Palestine Action as a banned organization under anti-terror laws. The ban officially took effect at midnight on Friday, following parliamentary approval the previous day. Despite a legal challenge aimed at halting the ban, the court upheld the government's order. Palestine Action now plans to pursue a full legal appeal within the next two weeks. Meanwhile, protesters and human rights activists gathered outside the High Court to voice opposition to the ban. The UK government announced last week its intention to proscribe Palestine Action under anti-terrorism legislation. The move came just days after members of the group sprayed paint on two aircraft at a Royal Air Force base, causing damage estimated at £7 million ($9.55 million). Huda Ammori, the group's co-founder, had appealed to the High Court to temporarily prevent the government from labeling Palestine Action a terrorist organization ahead of a potential judicial review. Several organizations, including Amnesty International, supported the request to suspend the ban. However, in rejecting the appeal, Justice Martin Chamberlain noted that the decision to consider banning the group had already been made in March—before the recent RAF base incident. Four Palestine Action activists were previously remanded into custody after being charged with 'conspiring to enter a prohibited site with intent to harm the UK's safety or interests and conspiracy to cause criminal damage.' The group denounced the government's decision as an assault on free speech, warning that the ban criminalizes membership and could result in a prison sentence of up to 14 years. Hamas Urges UN to Move Beyond Condemnation of Israeli Crimes
DaysofPal- The Hamas Movement has condemned the ongoing daily massacres across the Gaza Strip, where dozens of Palestinians have been killed since dawn today due to Israeli occupation airstrikes targeting residential neighborhoods, displaced persons' tents, shelters, and aid distribution points. In a statement issued Saturday evening, Hamas described the continued massacres as 'a further escalation in the genocide being perpetrated by the war criminal Netanyahu's government.' The Movement called on Arab and Islamic countries, as well as the United Nations and its agencies, 'to move beyond mere condemnation and take effective action to stop the systematic war crimes committed by the terrorist occupation against innocent civilians for the past 21 months—crimes that include massacres, starvation, and the destruction of all means of life.' Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has waged a campaign of genocide in Gaza involving killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international appeals and defying International Court of Justice orders to cease hostilities. The war has resulted in approximately 193,000 Palestinians killed or wounded, more than 10,000 missing, and hundreds of thousands displaced—alongside a famine that has claimed many lives, including those of dozens of children. Worldwide Protests Against Ongoing Israeli Genocide
DaysofPal—Several Western capitals and cities witnessed a wave of mass demonstrations and grassroots actions on Saturday, denouncing the genocide being committed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and calling for an end to military and economic support for the Israeli occupation. In the French capital, Paris, thousands of demonstrators marched in response to calls from pro-Palestinian organizations under the slogan: 'Stop the Genocide in Gaza.' The march started at Place de la République and headed toward Place de la Bastille. Protesters waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans demanding an end to the assault and the lifting of the siege. Participants also voiced their support for Palestinian journalists being targeted in Gaza and called for a boycott of companies and brands complicit with the occupation. Some demonstrators wore accessories and carried bags bearing the watermelon symbol—now widely recognized as a sign of solidarity with the Palestinian cause. Others held symbolic placards such as 'I dream of seeing a free Palestine one day,' and carried dolls wrapped in red shrouds to represent the children killed in Gaza. In the Dutch city of Papendrecht, protesters gathered outside the headquarters of GKN Fokker to denounce the ongoing export of F-35 aircraft parts to the Israeli occupation, despite a previous Dutch court ruling that banned the exports due to violations of international humanitarian law. In a statement read during the protest, participants asserted that the company's continued support for Israel's war machine makes it complicit in crimes against civilians in Gaza. They demanded a complete halt to all forms of military cooperation with the occupation. Major U.S. cities—including New York, Chicago, and San Francisco—also saw protests under the banner 'Pro-Palestine Protests Near You: Stop the Gaza Genocide.' Demonstrators condemned what they described as 'a genocide carried out with American weapons and taxpayer funding.' Signs held by protesters read: 'A child is killed every 40 minutes,' and called for an immediate arms embargo on the Israeli Occupation and an end to military aid used in bombings of hospitals and refugee camps. In Germany, similar protests took place in Berlin, Bremen, and Wuppertal with participation from Palestinian, Arab, and Muslim communities, alongside German and European solidarity activists. Protesters demanded the immediate lifting of the blockade on Gaza and the unconditional entry of humanitarian aid, stressing that the Israeli aggression constitutes a blatant violation of all international laws.
