Reason latest twist in Beckhams' feud could be devastating for little Harper
Harper Beckham will be "devastated" today if her oldest brother Brooklyn fails to wish her a happy birthday, it is said.
Sir David and Lady Beckham's youngest child - and only daughter - is understood to have idolised Brooklyn since she was a young child. Although she doesn't have Instagram yet, it is believed the "family thing" is to tag Harper in a photograph on posts as #harperseven to acknowledge her big day as she turns 14.
But Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz were no-shows at Sir David's 50th birthday celebrations earlier this year, which has led to a public feud within the family. Fearful of a repeat of this episode, a source said: "Brooklyn and Harper used to be inseparable. He adored her, he hopefully still does, but the problem is that Brooklyn has a track record for ignoring family birthdays now.
"It would be devastating for Harper not to hear from him. She hasn't done anything and she's only 13 years old, she is the innocent party here."
Brooklyn Beckham 'so happy' as he shares major update on in-laws amid family rift
The concern has emerged after Nicola, 30, made a number of eyebrow-raising remarks about family life as her own father's birthday celebrations enter a third week. Showing her followers her Pop Mart dolls lined up in a row, she wrote: "our little family", with a telling second snap, which she captioned: "My mom just gets it." She later posted a snap of herself hugging her father, writing: "I love you so much dad."
This has led to the insider's comments Harper will be disappointed if she doesn't hear from Brooklyn, either privately or publicly today. They told Mail Online:"Harper's birthday has always been such a happy day, she's the adored little daughter so it's always so joyous but this is a tough situation. Brooklyn was 12 when Harper was born, he was so important in her life and it must be terribly sad that she isn't seeing him since the fall out with David and Victoria happened."
At the start of her relationship with Brooklyn, Nicola seemed to forge a strong bond with Harper. The actress soon positioned herself as a "big sister" figure to the little girl, who is said to have "adored" her. Harper has reportedly also always been close to Brooklyn, who is 12 years older than her.
But it is believed now the couple, who married in April 2022 at her family's £76million Florida mansion, no longer speak to Sir David and Lady Beckham. Our source said this week Brooklyn's younger siblings, particularly Harper, have sadly become collateral damage of the feud.
"Harper's been particularly affected by what's going on because she's always been really close to Brooklyn," claimed the source. "They've always had a lovely bond because Brooklyn was that bit older when Harper was born, and the hope when Brooklyn married Nicola was that she'd become like a big sister to Harper in a house full of brothers."

Lindsie Chrisley sparks marriage rumors with Instagram name change and loved-up photos in a white dress
Lindsie Chrisley is sparking rumors she's married. The former star of Chrisley Knows Best, 35, shared a carousel of images to her Instagram account. In them, she wore a white dress from Vestique as she walked the sandy beaches of Ponte Vedra, Florida hand in hand with the mystery man. She captioned the post, 'a little preoccupied,' and added a white heart. Eagle eyed fans also noticed she changed her last name on the social media app from Chrisley to Landsman. Her new boyfriend, David Landsman, also shared pics with Lindsie and her son Carter on his Instagram. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lindsie Landsman (@lindsiechrisley) Landsman also shared a very sappy sentiment to his Instagram Stories. 'The right person makes you fall in love three times: once with them, once with yourself, and once with life.' He added two pink hearts and a man and woman dancing emojis to his post. David's Instagram bio reads, 'Entrepreneur, Father, Christian, Dual License Expert empowering real estate agents to boost their commission with a mortgage license.' His website says, 'I can scale your real estate business and have a world-class team to support your growth goals. 'If you are a mortgage lender, real estate agent, team leader or brokerage owner, I will increase your productivity and maximize your profits.' They both posted about a weekend trip to Clemson, South Carolina where they took in a Savannah Bananas game with Lindsie's son Carter, 11. There's no word on how long Lindsie and David, who is a father himself, have been together or if they really are married. Lindsie's most recent relationship was with a man named Trent for about a year. They ended their relationship in January 2024. While Lindsie is surely happy her parents have been released from prison, earlier this year, she admitted she hadn't gone to see them since they were put behind bars. Speaking about the tense topic on an episode of her podcast, Southern Tea, in March, she revealed that she hadn't seen to her father Todd for over a year. Meanwhile, she also said she never been to visit her step-mom Julie Chrisley in the more than two years that the reality star was in prison. She candidly stated: 'The last time I visited my dad probably was … was it the beginning of last year? I can't even honestly remember. Lindsie continued: '[Nanny Faye and I] used to go together [to see my dad] when they first went [to prison]. 'It was just like, [a] more comfortable situation for both of us to go [and] stay in a hotel together. I have never been to Lexington to visit Julie.' Todd and his wife Julie were found guilty of committing tax evasion and bank fraud totaling $30 million in June 2022. Chrisley's 12-year sentence was reduced to 10 years, while his wife's seven-year sentence was cut to 14 months. She was a prisoner at Federal Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky from January 2023 until her release in June. Lindsie admitted: 'I have not seen my dad in quite some time and I have had no contact. And that's all I'm going to say for that.' Todd welcomed Lindsie and her brother, Kyle, during his first marriage to Teresa Terry and Julie adopted both of them when she and Todd wed.

Rita Ora showcases her toned midriff in a skimpy white top as she travels on the subway while exploring Brooklyn
Rita Ora showcased her toned midriff in a skimpy white top as she travelled on the subway while exploring Brooklyn on Friday. The singer, 34, appeared to enjoy riding on the public transport around the New York City borough. For her outing she stepped out in a white sheer long-sleeved top which she layered over a matching bralette. She paired her top with some casual light blue low cut flared jeans which she paired with black flip flops. Adding a hint of glamour, she toted around her belongings in a large black Hermes bag. To accessorise, the songstress wore a quirky mental ring and a pair of black tinted sunglasses. Alongside her Instagram post, she penned: 'Brooklyn Bridge 9pm.' While traveling around Brooklyn, Rita playfully rummaged through her designer bag for some hand wipes. Rita recently revealed how Beyonce has always been her 'protector' as she discussed being hit by speculation that she was 'Becky with the good hair'. Beyonce's smash hit 2016 album Lemonade featured poignant lyrics about cheating and she sang about the mysterious woman in her track Sorry. Fans widely speculated it referred to alleged infidelity by Beyonce's husband Jay-Z with a woman called 'Becky', and theories began circulating online about her identity. Rita found herself at the centre of the rumours as she was wrongly accused of having an affair with Jay-Z, with the singer forced to hit back and deny the claims. Now, Rita - who was represented by Jay-Z's Roc Nation label at the time - revealed she was so upset by the claims because Beyonce has always been her 'protector'. Speaking on Davina McCall 's Begin Again podcast, Rita explained: 'Behind closed doors, [Beyonce] is literally my fairy godmother, she was my protector - that's what's insane because there was nothing but love. Rita recently revealed how Beyonce has always been her 'protector' as she discussed being hit by speculation that she was 'Becky with the good hair'. 'And, you know, again, being signed to Jay-Z, her husband, she being my biggest inspiration, she came to my first show in New York at The Box and I sang Say My Name in front of Beyonce when I was 21.' Rita admitted she was 'genuinely' upset and 'confused' by the storm because Beyonce is a 'big sister' who has always 'looked after' her in the industry. The For You hitmaker revealed she still sees Beyonce often to this day as she doubled down on her denial that she was 'Becky'. 'It wasn't real,' Rita insisted, before jokingly adding: 'I wish I had good hair!' 'None of that was real. That was the first time I experienced what it means to be in a messy situation, I guess,' she added. Rita - who has been married to Taika Waititi since 2022 - firmly put the rumours to bed by taking a selfie with Beyonce at the 2016 Met Gala. 'Then it was gone,' she added. 'Because there was never anything there in the first place.' It is not the first time that Rita has addressed the 'Becky with the good hair' storm as she shut down the speculation on Louis Theroux's podcast in 2022. Rita became at the centre of the speculation when she posted a photograph of Snapchat in April 2016 of herself wearing a lemon bra while wearing an initial necklace, which fans thought was the letter J. Though fans were convinced it was a response to the controversial song lyric, Rita insisted: 'Oh my God, it literally was a coincidence.' 'I didn't even think about it, I swear,' she told Louis. 'And it wasn't a J, it was an R. They flipped it round and then it looked like a J.' She also addressed another famous image which saw her wearing a semi-sheer bra from her Tenezis collaboration with specially-placed lemons. She said of the lemon-inspired shoot: 'No, it had nothing [to do with it]. No, that was my own design with an underwear company called Tezenis that I was working with. 'This is what I mean, man - a pinch of salt - you've got to take things with a pinch of salt. And that's what's insane.'

Gallagher children watch Oasis homecoming gig with Pep Guardiola
More than 70,000 fans filled Heaton Park for the Britpop band's hotly anticipated first gig in Manchester for nearly 16 years on Friday night. Liam's two sons Lennon, 25, and Gene, 24, and Noel's three children Anais, 25, Donovan, 17 and Sonny, 14, were with Guardiola at the first of five sold-out shows. Gene, whose mum is Liam's ex-wife Nicole Appleton, shared the image to Instagram, with the caption: 'Pic of the century alright now everyone els f*** off.' A post shared by Gene Gallagher (@genegallagher) The 24-year-old has previously spoken of his friendship with his cousin Anais, and said: 'We're a big happy family.' His uncle Noel told crowds at the homecoming concert that he was aware that 'the boss', referring to Guardiola, the manager of the football team he supports, was in attendance. More than an hour before Oasis took to the stage, fans were filmed singing their own rendition of Live Forever. In video footage posted on social media by the band Cast, one of the support acts, crowds belted the hit out as they awaited the Gallaghers' arrival. At about 8.20pm, the brothers walked onto the stage together to deafening cheers from crowds. Liam held his older brother's hand and raised it, while he had his trademark maracas in his other fist. Greater Manchester Police said the event passed 'without incident', although six men were arrested and in custody for a range of reasons including being drunk and disorderly and on suspicion of drug and fraud offences. Five drones were also seized after breaches of air space restrictions. Assistant Chief Constable Matt Boyle said: 'We are really pleased to say that fans attending the concert tonight have been able to do so safely and without incident. 'We have had an extensive, highly visible presence at the venue and across the city today to ensure everyone's safety, and a dispersal notice covering Heaton Park remains in place until 2am tomorrow morning to allow us to deal with any anti-social behaviour robustly.' Bev Craig, the leader of Manchester City Council, said before the concert on Friday that the city was 'all set to welcome music fans from across the globe' for 'a supersonic string of hometown dates from Liam and Noel'. Councillor Craig added: 'The whole city is going all out to celebrate and help everyone have a good time. We've got some fantastic things going on with a real party atmosphere for everyone to enjoy, whether they have tickets for the Oasis gigs or not.' Manchester, T minus 2 minutes! See you down the front x 📸 @Benwalkertv #OasisLive2025 #heatonpark #cast #Manchester — Cast (@castofficial) July 11, 2025 She urged people without tickets not to travel to Heaton Park, warning that there is 'nothing for them to see or do there', instead suggesting they celebrate the reunion in the city centre. Temperatures were in the high 20s in Manchester on Friday evening and Oasis had told fans to prepare for 'extreme sun and heat'. In a post on social media, the band urged concertgoers to 'wear a (bucket) hat', put on sun screen, stay hydrated, seek shade and look after one another at Heaton Park. The five sold-out shows there follow the band's first comeback gigs in Cardiff last week. After Manchester, Oasis will visit London's Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium and Dublin's Croke Park throughout July, August and September. Their reunion announcement came after Noel had quit the band, saying he 'simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer', after a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in 2009. The brothers announced the Oasis Live '25 tour last August. While many fans were thrilled, some were left outraged after a number of standard tickets in the UK and Ireland jumped from £148 to £355. The controversy prompted the Government and the UK's competition watchdog to pledge to look at the use of dynamic pricing.
