King Charles sells £45 tweed coats for dogs
The 'Happy Hound' coats, made exclusively for the shop at the monarch's Norfolk home, mirrors Charles's penchant for tweed.
The special version for the royals' favourite household pet is listed online costing £44.99, with an accompanying description adding: 'Stylish, machine washable and with a water layer, the Sandringham tweed dog coat is perfect for frosty winter walks.'
The sale of the Sherpa-fleece lined coats, hand-made in the UK, comes after the King and Queen recently adopted a new rescue puppy named Moley.
The puppy, from Battersea Dogs and Cats home, was adopted by Camilla in May after the death of her beloved rescue terrier Beth. She adopted Beth in 2011 along with a second terrier, Bluebell, in 2012, from the same charity, of which she is patron.
The King, also an avid dog lover, was given a Lagotto Romagnolo named Snuff earlier this year. Snuff, whose breed is a specialist truffle-hunting dog from Italy, is Charles's first dog in around two decades. The King is reportedly 'besotted' with him.
The new additions to the Royal household will now be able to sport the new coats, which are made in Sandringham Royal Tweed with a brown collar and belt, and which come in small, medium and large.
A notice in the Sandringham shop reads: 'Sandringham's loyal and trusted doggy visitors to the Royal parkland have been the inspiration for this collection. Pooches in the parkland can now look effortlessly stylish whilst enjoying a walk, wearing an elegant coat made in Sandringham Royal Tweed.'
The monarch has been sporting tweed outerwear for decades, and the style is world-renowned as the epitome of British country chic.
One of Charles's favourite coats is a herringbone tweed in a russet tone that has been a mainstay of his wardrobe since 1986, though it has been mended and updated over time.
His Anderson & Sheppard tweed coat is regularly seen on Christmas morning as he attends church services at Sandringham.

Love Island star Lochan has hit out at his ex-girlfriend Whitney Adebayo's claims he called her skin 'dirty' during their relationship. The former couple announced in April that they had gone their separate ways, with Whitney, 27, hinting at the time that that it was Lochan's decision by writing 'I'm broken'. However, it appears that things have soured between the pair - who fell for each other in the 2023 series of the ITV2 show - as Whitney seemingly made an allegation of racism against her ex. In a post shared to her TikTok last week - which was deleted after going viral before being reposted - Whitney modelled a bright pink bikini, over which she wrote: 'You look happier'. Then in another image of her wowing in the strapless two-piece while chilling on a sun lounger, she added: 'Thanks! I finally fell in love with my skin he used to call dirty.' Amid the furore following Whitney's post, Lochan took to TikTok on Sunday to defend himself against the claim, remarking that he felt 'insulted' by her allegation that he is racist. Speaking to the camera, Lochan told how he and his family are 'devastated and upset' by Whitney's words, noting he had 'no choice' but to address the situation. He then went on to give his version of events, telling how the drama began when the former couple went for a walk and Whitney put her nails 'in my face' while showing off her manicure. He said: 'She annoyingly put her nails in my face and said, "My hands are so clean, yours aren't." And I said, "No they're not".' Lochan continued: 'I was just annoyed her hands were in my face - it was a very off the cuff remark. She looked at me in shock and said, "You're calling me dirty." 'I was taken aback by that. Lochan then told how he contacted Whitney's sister Liz to try and clear up the situation, with him sharing a screenshot of messages between them in which she insists he's not a racist. However, Liz's words are in contrast to a previous post she shared defending her sister against the backlash she received following her allegation, with Liz seemingly showing proof of Lochan's racist comment. A screenshot of an alleged message from Lochan reads: 'Please speak to whit she is fully cone and I feel awful but I never said it thinking her skin is dirty I feel sick I crossed line with joke but she she she can't look at me the same. I don't know what to do Liz.' Over the top of her post, she penned: 'The fact that evidence is needed is absurd to me why can't women speak and be heard?
