Did Sophie Turner and Peregrine Pearson Split? Breakup Clues That Their Romance Could Be Over

Yahoo27-04-2025

Fans are already speculating that Sophie Turner's relationship with boyfriend Peregrine Pearson may already be over. Life & Style breaks down all the clues that the couple may have split after a year and a half of dating.
The Game of Thrones alum no longer follows the British aristocrat on Instagram as of April 24, 2025, which has fans buzzing about a possible breakup. Peregrine's Instagram is set to private.
Sophie also shared a cryptic message to her Instagram Stories in April 2025 that read, 'Tutto passa,' which is Italian for 'everything passes.'
The last time Sophie posted photos of Peregrine was on January 6, 2025, when doing a roundup of her highlights from the year prior. She included a mirror selfie with her legs wrapped around his waist as Peregrine held her close. Sophie also included an adorable video of the duo attempting to do a couple's yoga pose.
"Bye bye 2024. A pic a month," she captioned the set of photos, which also included shots with her girlfriends, vacation pictures and beautiful landscapes. "So beautiful and looks like you have a fabulous man in your life," one fan gushed in the comments about Peregrine's inclusion.
Prior to her end of year roundup, Peregrine last appeared in a birthday tribute Sophie shared in October 2024. "Happy Birthday my angel pie. 30, flirty and thriving," she captioned a set of intimate photos of the couple's loving moments together.
On January 28, 2025, Sophie shared stunning photos from a trip to the Maldives with her girlfriends, but it didn't appear Peregrine was along for the fun.
"Who knew that all it takes to be happy is tea tasting, perfume making, breathwork, sound therapy, spotting dolphins, watsu, cooking classes, turtle snorkeling, massages and getting burnt on the beach with your besties in the Maldives," the Dark Phoenix star wrote in the caption.
Peregrine was also absent from a March 4, 2025, post where Sophie went on a tea-tasting session in England. She appeared solo in several photos, including one hanging out in the back of her car with her dog.
Sophie was once again surrounded by girl power in a March 12, 2025, Instagram post, featuring her trip to Paris, France, for the Louis Vuitton's Fall/Winter 2025/2026 show. She was joined by actress Chloë Grace Moretz and musician Este Haim in the audience. Sophie also included snapshots of trips to museums and other sightseeing adventures with model pal Ella Richards.
The duo was first linked when they were spotted sharing a kiss in Paris in October 2023. It came on the heels of Sophie's ex-husband, Joe Jonas, filing for divorce the month prior on September 5, 2023, claiming their marriage was "irretrievably broken." The former couple share two daughters, welcoming Willa in July 2020, followed by Delphine in July 2022.
Sophie made Peregrine Instagram official in a January 2024 post showing the couple on a skiing vacation.
The following month, the couple made their public debut, attending Stanley Zhu's Year of Dragon Celebration in London.
'They've now been together nearly a year and are very serious,' an insider exclusively told Life & Style in November 2024. 'She's saying she's so much happier dating a Brit, that Peregrine is a better match for her than Joe ever was. It's clear to everyone this is not a rebound romance. It's the real deal — and Joe's burning with jealousy!'
A month after Sophie and Joe's divorce was finalized in September 2024, a source exclusively told Life & Style how the "Cake by the Ocean" singer was bothered by how quickly his ex moved on.
'Joe's trying to act all macho and is saying he totally doesn't care that Sophie's with Peregrine now — but he absolutely cares. It's humiliating she's bounced back so fast and he's still single,' the insider shared in October 2024.
Prior to that, Joe denied rumors that he was ruminating over his breakup. When the hitmaker released his latest album, Music for People Who Believe in Love, some fans believed some of the singles were aimed at his ex. 'I'm not trying to come for anyone on this album,' he told Billboard in response. 'I'm not trying to put stuff on blast.'

29 Popular Things That Were Not Worth The Hype

A while back, we asked the BuzzFeed Community to tell us things that got a TON of hype but turned out to be disappointing. Here are the surprising results: "To me, what is not worth the hype is McDonald's French fries. They are super thin, and you have to eat a handful to get the taste. The 'large' portion isn't even that large. There's much better." "Game of Thrones. It's boring. I can't even make it through the first season. And I don't mean it's boring for a lack of action; I don't mind that if the writing is good. I mean, even the dialogue is bad. It vacillates between obnoxiously pompous and cartoonishly coarse depending on who's talking." "Hot yoga. Downward-dogging in a 350-degree oven with someone else's sweaty crack in my face, and inhaling the scent of BO. Hard pass." "Six years of watching the show Lost. It was all great, but the ending was the worst ending ever! Nobody I knew was happy about the ending of that show. So disappointed! The writers didn't even know how to end that show. Still disappointed after all these years!" "The Apple bandwagon. Hahaha, no. Eff Once I finally begrudgingly made the switch two years ago, I went with Samsung. Could not be happier. Zero regrets." "Y2K. Turn off your computers on NYE 1999, or everything will crash! Nope." "College. People told me it would be the best years of my life; I would discover who I was and learn how to be an adult. I was miserable. I changed majors three times and learned nothing that would help with my career. I was at my lowest point mentally and had breakdowns constantly." "Citizen Kane. Movie snobs say it's one of the best movies of all time. I saw it and was bored. It's one of those movies people say they enjoyed (when they really didn't) simply to be considered intellectual, especially if you're in a movie/art and entertainment field." "Getting a transplant. 'It'll make your life SOOO much better!' Six months after, I went into rejection, and they gave me a buttload of steroids to save it. After that, my body reacted and put on twice my weight, and I couldn't stand or walk for long without agonizing pain. I had to buy an electric wheelchair." "AirPods. Everyone had to have them because of how 'compact' and discreet they were, and now, I think they've mostly been replaced with over-the-ear headphones or corded ones since they don't stay in your ears, and the audio quality goes way down after a couple of months." "Blackberry was 'all the hype' until everyone jumped on the Apple bandwagon." "Family Guy and subsequent Seth MacFarlane shows that followed the same formulaic setup. It was just the same jokes over and over and over again. And just not funny after the first couple of seasons, IMO." "Any music festival or outdoor concert. I'm over them, and I will never go to another one no matter how many of my friends say, 'But this one will be better/more amazing/so fun.' No. They are the worst. Sweaty, smelly masses crushed together. The women's bathroom situation is always a nightmare. Food and drink costs are not just price gouging, but price-eviscerating." "Running barefoot. It was a thing, and I was talked into it by a fellow runner. It was a complete hour of painful humiliation followed by a week of bruised and battered recovery. Never again." "Bridgerton, Season 3. Other than Penelope, it's meh. I'm more just outraged at waiting two years, getting four mediocre episodes with so much going on; I have to have an 'A Beautiful Mind'-style chart next to me each episode. Penelope deserves a season to herself, but I feel like she is still a background character. I get they had to establish Francesca (which they are at fault for giving her one minute of screen time in the first two seasons) — BUT the fact they are taking the spotlight away from Penelope to do it is tragic. I wanted a plus-sized woman in the front of the season, but god forbid they do that. Also, every time Colin is on screen, I'm like, 'Someone come and tell this guy to shut up.'" "Chick-fil-A. The chicken is just meh. Nothing great. And their fries suck." "Disneyland. My first trip to the park was with the USC marching band, and we were there to show off for the upcoming Rose Bowl. I'd spent three years with classmates/bandmates/friends telling me what an 'amazing experience' Disneyland was." "The Tesla Cybertruck. It looks like it lost service while loading and only managed four pixels." "The McRib Sandwich, every single time. I tried it again during the last promotion, thinking I was just not giving it a fair chance. Nope! Now, return the chicken wraps, McDonald's! You owe us for that, and it's the least you could do." "CW did an amazing job with the DC shows. Snyder was a sure thing when his version of Justice League was released. The Flash movie was amped up and advertised a lot, emphasizing Michael Keaton's return as Batman. That movie was a mess, even with Keaton." "Something I ordered because it looked pretty effective on TV — a little drain snake for home use. Appeared to work great in the ad, but what I got was a little piece of Velcro on a wire that was too wobbly to ever go into a drain." "Agatha Christie's work. I read Murder on the Orient Express a few years ago and was enjoying it throughout, trying to pick up on clues and figure out whodunnit before getting to the end. Oh, no! I get to the end with about three suspects out of 14, one being significantly the most suspect, and the detective solves the crime with new information presented at the end. I was not happy with that!" "Cryptocurrency. It was supposed to revolutionize commerce from the ground up, but it made no sense to me initially. The fact that these coins had to be 'mined' using wild amounts of electricity further distanced me from investing." "Schitt's Creek. It just wasn't funny. Felt like you had to laugh at it because people told you it was hilarious." "Turning 50. I thought it was a big deal, but it was really just another day like the day before and the one after." "The original Shake Weight." "Going way back here: the Xbox Kinect. It was Microsoft's answer to the Wii, and everyone got one, used it for three months, and then never touched it again. Gimmick technology has that tendency, but at least it was fascinating to experience it at the time." "Avengers: Endgame was a fantastic movie. The next MCU phase was looking to be good. Spiderman came out and was amazing. Then, every movie from there was such a disappointment." And finally... "Being an adult. I know they tried to warn us when we were kids, but all I wanted to do was grow up. Now, I'm here, and adulting is hard. Definitely did not live up to the hype"." What are some other things that didn't live up to the hype? Tell us your thoughts in the comments, or if you prefer to remain anonymous, you can use the form below.

Sauce Gardner opens up on how LeBron James played role in him meeting Ice Spice

LeBron James, even if unintentionally, helped play the role of matchmaker for Sauce Gardner's rumored relationship with rapper Ice Spice, the Jets cornerback told TMZ. Gardner appeared on an April 2024 episode of 'The Shop' — a podcast featuring James — alongside rapper Travis Scott, former NFL wideout Chad Ochocinco and star Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez, and Gardner told the outlet he believes that's when the couple met in person for the first time. They seemingly became Instagram official just over one year later in a post shared by Ice Spice with her and Gardner posing in front of a bathroom mirror. Advertisement 3 Ice Spice and Sauce Gardner are pictured at the Knicks' game May 16. AP While Gardner told TMZ that he wasn't 'trying to speak too much on it' when approached in Los Angeles, he did acknowledge that he and the rapper are 'cool' — and proceeded to reveal a bit about their relationship. 'We just be having a good time,' Gardner told the outlet. 'Two young individuals, you know. She from New York. I play in New York. She talented, real talented, when it come to what she do. Same thing for me. Two people that get hated on that's really good at what we do, so we got a lot in common. We cool.' Advertisement 3 LeBron James is pictured at Fanatics Fest on June 21. Getty Images Before Ice Spice's post, the duo had been spotted out in public on different occasions, and Gardner appeared to tease the relationship earlier in April by sharing a photo on Instagram that showed them standing next to a car in New York City. When they attended a Knicks playoff game at the Garden in May, they received a loud ovation from fans in attendance as they watched the Knicks close out their second-round series against the Celtics. Gardner, 24, will enter the 2025 campaign off a rough season and is entering the last year of his rookie deal, but he still attended the Jets' mandatory minicamp instead of holding out, getting fined and attempting to make a contract statement. Advertisement 3 Sauce Gardner addresses reporters during a June 12 press conference. Bill Kostroun/New York Post 'I just wanted to show my teammates and the coaches how much I'm bought into this,' Gardner told reporters on June 12. 'I want to win. I want to be a part of changing the organization.' He earned consecutive First-Team All-Pro appearances in his first two NFL seasons — as well as winning Defensive Rookie of the Year and securing a pair of Pro Bowl spots — but failed to even make the Pro Bowl last year.
