Bas-Saint-Laurent: une collision avec un orignal fait un blessé

Un homme dans la quarantaine a subi des blessures importantes en raison d'une collision avec un orignal survenue samedi matin alors qu'il circulait sur l'autoroute 20 dans le secteur de Sainte-Flavie, au Bas-Saint-Laurent.
Les services d'urgence ont été appelés à intervenir vers 6h30 pour une collision en direction est.
L'automobiliste qui a happé la bête de plein fouet a été transporté dans un centre hospitalier pour des blessures, mais la Sûreté du Québec a toutefois confirmé qu'il n'y avait pas de danger pour sa vie.
L'orignal, de son côté, n'a malheureusement pas survécu à l'impact.
Un enquêteur spécialisé en collision s'est également rendu sur place samedi matin dans le but de faire la lumière sur les causes et les circonstances exactes entourant l'accident.
