90 Day Fiance star Eric Rosenbrook's baby dies after he is arrested for hitting his wife as she held their child

Daily Mail16-07-2025
90 Day Fiance star Eric Rosenbrook and his wife Leida have lost their newborn daughter.
Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook died after being placed on life support for five days.
It comes following his arrest for slapping his wife on the Fourth Of July when she was holding the child.
It is not known if Eric's violent altercation with his wife and baby led to the child being placed on life support and dying.
He wrote on Facebook on July 10: 'It destroys me and shatters my world to announce that over the weekend, tragedy has struck.
'Yesterday at 12.53pm, after five days on life support, my beloved daughter, little Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, slipped the surely bonds to join her grandfather Tom.'
Eric added that he isn't looking for 'well wishes or questions,' but instead, 'just prayers' for Alisa.
He is scheduled to appear in court on July 21 for an injunction hearing, and for his criminal domestic violence, disorderly conduct, and battery case.
He has a pre-trial conference hearing on August 11, DailyMail.com has learned through court documents.
Leida reportedly wrote on July 5: 'Dear God… You can take away my life, but do not take away my daughter's life.
'She just born. God… If this is going to be my lesson to appreciate life since I've been struggling with suicidal thoughts then take away my trauma… Help. Me. Find. Peace. Help. Me. Forgive.'
Soon after she deleted the post, according to UsWeekly.
DailyMail.com has reached out to Leida and Eric for comment and has not yet heard back.
His arrest took place in Adams, Wisconsin, reported TMZ. Eric confirmed the accusations to the site.
The victim - Leida is not named in the document and the victim has gone under LNM but the site believes it's her - reportedly told authorities that Eric had been drinking when he went to pick up food, but did not return in a timely matter.
The victim then noticed that Eric was 'passed out' in his car outside the apartment, which she allegedly videotaped, the site claimed.
When she woke him, he came in the house and slapped her when she was holding their baby girl, it has been claimed.
Eric was arrested and booked around 2am on July 5 and has been charged with misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct.
The victim went into detail about the incident.
She had said that when she woke Eric up in the car, she had their baby with her in her arms and he woke the child up, the site claimed.
He reportedly then wanted to hold the baby but the victim said no because he was too drunk.
That is when the reality TV star allegedly slapped the victim. The victim said she had been abused since they wed in 2018, the site reported.
Eric went back to his car and fell asleep again, police told the site. The authorities said he admitted to hitting the alleged victim.
TMZ spoke with Eric who admitted he did hit her when she was holding their daughter. But he said that he did not strike the child.
However, he then decided to leave the apartment. And he shared that the fight has led to their split.
Eric married Leida after meeting on 90 Day Fiance during season six of the show. She filed for divorce last year, but her petition was withdrawn, it has been claimed.
In 2019 he was linked to another ugly situation when he was accused of hitting Leida.
He explained his side of the altercation during an Instagram Live video for fans but denied he struck her.
In text messages, Leida claimed that Eric 'pulled my hairs really hard and grab it until I can stand up and grabbed my wrist both of them and put me on the corner '.
In his video response, Eric disputed some of the details, but his account hued fairly close to Leida's original allegations.
He said: 'Leida and I had an altercation. She was threatening self-harm, I wrestled a knife from her. But my training took over, it triggered my training...and I went too far.
'Nothing serious was caused, other than emotional trauma, which is severe. I may have scratched her scalp, I did not realize I did that. After I wrestled the knife from her, my training took over and the only thing I could think of was to restrain her.
'It went too far. I attempted to stand her up on her feet so I could look her in her face and restrain her wrists, but I pulled her up by her hair.'
The former Marine continued: 'She did not resist, had she resisted it may have snapped me back to reality and I would not have done it. I like to believe that I would not have continued to do it that way.
'I do not excuse how it happened, I know I should've handled that differently.
'After I stood her up I had to restrain her wrists, I was afraid of her hitting herself or myself. We argued and fought a little bit, not physically after that.
'I kept her against the wall in the kitchen, the corner as she says, it's not really a corner, it's just the end of the kitchen. And I kept her there because she would've had to pass the sink again and the knife, and knives, so I kept her there, I did not let her pass.'
Eric went on to say that he had called the police at Leida's request, and that she had been taken to a hospital for an evaluation.
He said he had offered to stay at a hotel to give her space, though it wasn't clear what their current living situation is.
Neither Eric nor his wife seem to be disputing the most explosive part of the allegations, that Leida had a knife and was threatening to kill or harm herself.

Watch live: Brian Kohberger sentenced for murdering four Idaho students

Watch live as Brian Kohberger is sentenced for murdering four college students in Idaho. University of Idaho students Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, were stabbed to death by the 30-year-old in a frenzied attack at their college home on November 13, 2022. On Wednesday (23 July), Kohberger will be sentenced after admitting to the killings for the first time at a plea-deal hearing to avoid the death penalty. In pleading guilty, Kohberger waived all rights to an appeal. The students had enjoyed a Saturday night out in the small college town of Moscow before returning in the early hours. As most of the roommates in the house slept in the six-bedroom home, Kohberger - dressed in all-black with a balaclava - broke in around 4am and crept through the kitchen sliding door before killing the four students. Prosecutors said there's still no known connection between the victims and Kohberger, who had been planning the murders for months.

Tulsi Gabbard scrambles to appease MAGA by declassifying MORE Obama docs showing he 'ordered' Russia 'hoax'

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has declassified another tranche of documents about the 2016 elections – a day after President Donald Trump accused Barack Obama of 'treason' and said he should be investigated. Gabbard ordered the release of a 2020 report by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on the Intelligence Community's assessment on Russia during the 2016 presidential election. That is an election Trump won, but the president has long railed against what he calls the Russia 'hoax' – and this week has been calling for investigations of top security officials at the time while referring to Obama as the leader of a 'gang.' The report by the Intelligence panel, then chaired by Trump ally Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) found the nation's spies reached 'credible' assessments that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered 'conventional and cyber influence operations' by leaking hacked emails. But it also disputed the Intel assessment, released in 2017, that Putin 'developed a clear preference' for Trump and 'aspired to help his chances of victory.' That conclusion has long infuriated Trump. It said these conclusions did not 'adhere to the tenets' of intelligence tradecraft. The House Intel panel's report put the onus on Obama and dismissed its composition, calling it a 'high-profile product ordered by the President, directed by senior IC agency heads, and created by just five CIA analysts, using one principal drafter.' Gabbard on Friday released a report and accused Obama of overseeing a 'treasonous conspiracy' against Trump. On Tuesday night at a meeting at the White House with House Republicans, Trump called Gabbard the 'hottest' person in the room. That comes despite indications of a split over the attack Trump ordered on Iran's nuclear facilities. 'She's like, hotter than everybody. She's the hottest one in the room right now because she found out. ... I think we knew it before, in all fairness, Tulsi, but now you have certainty. She has all the documents. She has everything that you need. And she found out that Barack Hussein Obama led a group of people, and they cheated in the elections, and they cheated without question,' Trump told his allies. Gabbard, an anti-interventionist, had testified in March that the intelligence community 'continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon' despite its big stockpiled of enriched Uranium. Gabbard appeared on the conservative Newsmax network Tuesday night, and contested a scathing statement by Obama, who had called the resurfaced allegations 'bizarre' and a 'distraction.' 'We will be releasing further documents tomorrow that will refute that statement,' Gabbard said. The backdrop for the throwback drama over the 2016 election – rather than the 2020 race Trump repeatedly calls 'rigged' – are the series of stunning disclosures about the Jeffrey Epstein case that have rocked the White House and divided the MAGA movement.

Trump lashes out at CNN after 'new' Epstein photos with his young kids Ivanka, Eric and ex-wife surface

Donald Trump was enraged when CNN confronted him with newly unearthed decades-old images of him and his young kids with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. After just 30 seconds on a call with Andrew Kaczynski on Tuesday, the president hung up when asked about the resurfaced images showing Epstein at Trump's 1993 wedding to his second wife, Marla Maples. The photographs also show Epstein that same year socializing with Trump and his children Ivanka and Eric at the Harley Davidson Cafe opening in New York. The images are not new, but they have not been widely reported. Kaczynski said that Trump dismissed the resurfacing of the images as his administration faces a slew of criticism from his MAGA base over the Justice Department's botched Epstein files review. 'We were not on the phone very long,' he said on CNN after the article was published on Tuesday. 'I think our call was about 30 seconds or so.' 'When I asked him about the wedding photo… he sort of paused for a second and then said, 'you've got to be kidding me,' before calling CNN 'fake news' and then hanging up on me,' the journalist recalled of Trump shutting down the conversation. White House Communications Director Steven Cheung doubled down on the fake news claims and reiterated how Trump kicked Epstein out of his club for 'being a creep.' 'These are nothing more than out-of-context frame grabs of innocuous videos and pictures of widely attended events to disgustingly infer something nefarious,' he said in a statement on the resurfaced images. It's widely known that Trump socialized with Epstein and his co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell in the 1980s and 1990s. He is listed as one of the many famous and rich people who flew on Epstein's private plane, known as the Lolita Express. Family members of Trump are also listed on the flight log from the same period. This includes his son Eric, his second wife Marla Maples and their daughter Tiffany. Previously revealed images show Trump and his third wife and current First Lady Melania alongside Epstein and Maxwell in 1997 at Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida. No charges have been brought against Trump in relation to Epstein and there is no known wrongdoing by the president during his time associating with Epstein. While CNN branded the latest images as 'never been seen' before, Kaczynski admitted in his article that the photos were available on Google images and content library Shutterstock. The outlet paid to have exclusive rights to a few of the photos for a month. Kaczynski said they 'have not been widely reported and pre-date any of Epstein's known legal issues.' Trump is not pleased with how his base is still obsessing over the Epstein investigation. When Attorney General Pam Bondi released a joint memo with the FBI earlier this month concluding no one else would be charged in relation to his child sex trafficking crimes, it immediately sparked fury among the MAGA base. Many of Trump's biggest fans have stoked conspiracies that Epstein did not kill himself in prison in 2019 and that he was actually murdered to keep quiet about co-conspirators. Additionally, they were clamouring for a so-called 'client list' that would reveal those who worked with Epstein. But Bondi's review found that no such list existed. Trump was forced to give into pressure from his supporters' demanding the administration continue pushing for more answers. He directed Bondi last week to request the grand jury testimony from the court case in the Southern District of New York be unsealed. Additionally, Bondi announced that Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche is looking to speak with Maxwell 'in the coming days' to find out what she knows. Maxwell remains the only living person paying the price for Epstein's crimes. She is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence – though her lawyers tried to get the Supreme Court to take up her case arguing she shouldn't have been charged due to a 2008 plea deal Epstein struck with prosecutors. The DOJ opposed Maxwell's request for appeal earlier this month.
