A COUPLE have divided opinions after choosing to take their baby on holiday, but leave their toddler at home.
Georgia and Chris Brown, both 30, booked a four-day trip for three to Morocco.

Four-month-old, Harry, went with his parents while George, two, stayed at home with his gran.
The pair say they wanted 'one-on-one time' with Harry that wouldn't be possible with a toddler in tow.
Business consultant, Georgia, and sales executive, Chris, took George to Sorrento, Italy, when he was a baby.
They said they wanted Harry to have a similar holiday where he could be the centre of attention.
'We wanted to have that one-on-one time with Harry,' Georgia, of southeast London, said.
'George's first holiday was all about him and we wanted that experience with Harry.
'When you have a toddler it's a very different experience because you're always looking out for them.
'He's running wild and his brother sits in the back seat a lot of the time.
'Harry follows George's routine and his life very much revolves around what his brother's doing.
'For example, I may have to wake Harry up from a nap to take George on a play date.'

Chris bought the holiday as a surprise for Georgia's birthday.
Georgia was surprised when she saw that only one child had been booked for the holiday.
Georgia said: 'Dads can struggle to bond at the beginning.
'He's the default parent to George because I'm breastfeeding Harry.
'Chris doesn't get to spend that much time with Harry because he's back at work so it gave him that time as well.
'It was a surprise that George wasn't coming and when he gave me the ticket and I saw one child, I thought 'Where's the other one?'
'But I understood and thought it was quite sweet when he explained.
'George is a very loved baby so I never thought it would hurt him or he wouldn't have a great time with his gran.'

Georgia shared a clip of her on holiday with Chris and Harry on TikTok and was bombarded with comments branding her a 'bad parent'.
She said: 'It's crazy, I didn't expect it to get the reaction it did.
'So many people have said we're bad parents, we shouldn't be parents and shouldn't have had a second child.
'People were saying 'that poor boy' and that he'll grow up and never speak to me again.
'They said he'd tell the story in counselling.
'I was wondering if I was a bad parent but I'm absolutely not and I'm not going to listen to these people who think it's ok to put other people down.
'Other people said we can't handle the toddler but we can because we have a toddler and do handle him.
'A lot of mums were commenting.
'Mums know this is the hardest job in the world so the fact there's so many women putting me down because they don't agree with it is crazy.
'People are saying it'll really impact him and he'll remember.
I genuinely don't care about all the hate I've got because we had an amazing time.

'He's independent and never been a clingy baby.
'We FaceTimed him every day.
'He wasn't crying asking where I was, he was telling us what he'd been doing.
'I can't let it get to me because these people don't know me and are just online bullies'
Trolls also accused the couple of choosing to take one child on holiday because they couldn't afford to take both which Georgia denies.
She said: 'About 100 people said 'Just admit that you couldn't afford to take both'.
'I don't need to justify myself to them but that's not the case.
'Some people said that they would love to do it but they can only afford one holiday a year so they take all the children.'
Georgia says that despite the online abuse, she doesn't regret her decision.
The North African holiday was back in March and the family have been on holiday as a four twice since to Germany and Ireland.
She added: 'I'm so glad we did it. It was lovely.
'I genuinely don't care about all the hate I've got because we had an amazing time.
'People said the baby will never remember but me and Chris will remember.

1. Write a list
Think about all the essentials you need to take with you; suncream, medicine, a few games for the kids, beach towels, and write everything in one list, which you can tick off as you add it to your suitcase.

2. Involve your kids
Jemma said: 'My girls are getting older, they're 11 and nine, and they enjoy helping to pack. So I send them a list, and say 'this is what you need' and they follow the list.
'And then I give them a rucksack each - and say to them 'you can have whatever you want in there as long as it's not liquid', and they can take that on the plane. And that's their 'home away from home' items.'
3. Try a hack or two
She said: "I think they all work, but for different reasons - and you've just got to pick the right one for your trip.
"Rolling your clothes is really good to stop your clothes from getting creases. And if you're trying to get a lot of items into your case, it's a space saver.
'Packing cubes are great - for example, I'm going on holiday with my three kids and we're all using the same suitcase for our clothes.
"These handy compartments let you separate your clothes, toiletries and tech into designated cubes, maximising luggage space by keeping your items compressed and neatly stacked.
"I love taking them abroad with the family and it means my kids can easily take charge of their own items once we've arrived."
4. Decant beauty products
Do you really need to take full-size bottles of shampoo and conditioner with you? The beauty industry has evolved so much, you can now buy shampoo bars or sheets - which are much lighter and smaller.
Or, if you'll be popping to the shops when you're abroad, consider buying some items when you arrive.
5. Get organised before you come home
Jemma said: 'When you repack on holiday [before coming home], the trick is to separate clean from dirty clothes.
'Also pack it in some form of order - so lights, darks, colours for items that need washing, or if you wash your clothes by person in the household, piles for each person.
"Then you can put it straight into the washing machine. Do it straight away, don't leave it."
'My mum and sister took care of George at ours so he wasn't disrupted and he had a great time.
'He went to the zoo, and went to his cousins to make pizza.
'He had an amazing time and it was amazing that my mum was able to spend time with George.'
Cruel trolls have bombarded Georgia and Chris with abuse for not including George.
Others have been more supportive.
One said: 'Forgetting what 'family' means.
'S*** parenting, supposed to be a unit.'
Another added: 'Surely this would make the older sibling feel even more left out no?
'They're adjusting to having a new baby in the house and you leave them at home.'
However, the couple did also receive some supportive comments from followers.
A third viewer said: 'There's nothing wrong with what you've done if you've left them with loving family members.
'I'm sorry people are just hating because they clearly don't understand how hard it is and you are entitled to a holiday.'
Another said: 'Oh no, a mum spending quality time with her other child, call the authorities.
'Her eldest isn't abandoned, he's just secure enough not to fall apart when mum takes a break.
'Some of you could take notes.'

Especially if you remember walking through green woodland packed with ferns, moss and lichen - with a really memorable earthy, damp scent. They once covered more than 20 per cent of the UK - but history devoured them - and now there's less than one per cent. So the Wildlife Trust, sponsored by Aviva, has just launched an epic 100-year restoration project to bring them back. The temperate rainforest restoration programme will restore approximately 1,755 hectares of temperate rainforest across the British Isles. Some of the new sites created through this programme include Bowden Pillars in Devon, Bryn Ifan in North Wales, Creg y Cowin and Glion Darragh on the Isle of Man, Trellwyn Fach in Pembrokeshire, and – most recently - Skiddaw in Cumbria. Garden Designer Zoe Claymore, won a silver gilt medal at RHS Chelsea for her British Rainforest Garden. She told me: 'I didn't know it at the time - but I played in a British rainforest as a child. The end of my grandparents garden in Devon went into Lidford Gorge which is one of the last existing rainforests. 'In the UK they're found in the Goldilocks zone - not too hot, not too cold - and by rivers, gullies and gorges, because you also need the moisture from the river creating that ecosystem.' But there are ways of recreating one in your own garden, she said. 'Even if you don't live in an area suited to creating a rainforest there's other plants that will create the same vibes. Mums are raving about an indoor tropical rainforest attraction in the UK 'Create shade with Hazels - they're a great small tree which gives a real native-feel and perfect for small gardens. Or include hollies, birch or willows. 'Create a water feature - from a little stream with a few rocks or simply as an old-school rock water bowl - to create that sense of humidity. "But even if you just did a pond in a pot surrounded by some fun little logs, that will create habitat, that will bring wildlife, and it will create that kind of feeling of rainforest-y wetness." It's easy to make a home made pond - using old washing up bowls. Tesco's are currently selling one for just £2.75. First choose a spot that's sunny but not in direct sunlight all day - otherwise the water will evaporate. Then all you have to do is put some logs around it, and a few stones, so wildlife can climb in and out easily - almost like a ramp. Ideally fill it with rain water rather than tap. And then put in about three water plants - like mini water lillies or water forget-me-not and sit back waiting for the wildlife. Zoe added: 'Then use British classic woodland plants and really focus on ferns - the unsung beautiful heroes of shade gardening - as well as bluebells, foxgloves, primulars, ivy, bananas and - if you've got a wet area - moss - which is the jewel in the crown - so your garden will be green all year round." Skims face wrap: Have night-time beauty routines become too extreme?

But Skims has rebranded the concept saying the "must-have" wrap can be used "everyday" and that it's intended to "shape and sculpt". On TikTok, beauty influencers are pairing face wraps with other viral skincare trends like gua sha - scraping a tool across the face - and mouth taping, which involves sticking tape over your lips at night. It's all in an attempt to wake up in the morning with the best skin possible. Skincare expert Laura Porter tells the BBC the face wrap is being marketed to Gen Z and younger millennials. Skims' marketing campaigns typically feature models in their 20s, and are often are endorsed by celebrities like Kylie Jenner, who has a young fan base and leverages social media trends."The branding and tone of messaging signal it is directed toward women who follow beauty trends and influencer culture," Porter brand works with beauty influencers to promote its products, and on TikTok some influencers are claiming the new face wrap gives them instant results."The way this face wrap has elevated my morning shed is crazy, my jawline has never been this snatched," one young beauty influencer said in a video. But medical professionals say there is no science behind the snug-fitting Anna Andrienko, an aesthetic doctor specialising in cosmetic procedures, tells the BBC that while these garments "may offer some temporary sculpting or de-puffing effects due to pressure and heat retention," the results are far from permanent."These face wraps do not deliver lasting contouring or skin-tightening results," she explains. "At best, they can reduce fluid retention short term. At worst, overuse may lead to skin irritation, breakouts, or circulation issues if worn too tightly or for prolonged periods."Dr Andrienko also dismisses the product's reference to "being infused with collagen yarns".Collagen is a protein vital to skin elasticity and firmness, but there's little evidence that fabric containing collagen can deliver measurable benefits. 'Chip away at self-esteem' But it's not just the medical efficacy that's raising questions. Critics argue products like these are fuelling harmful beauty ideals, reinforcing insecurities and sending the message that even your sleep needs to be optimised for aesthetic says products like these can impact body image, particularly among younger consumers."When we start targeting areas like the chin or jawline with compression wraps, it sends a message that even natural, structurally normal features need fixing," she says. "Over time, this can chip away at self-esteem, making people feel inadequate unless they're constantly tweaking or reshaping themselves."Former model Chloe Thomas agrees, saying products promising to slim and sculpt the face "turn the clock back on any progress we might have been making with body image acceptance". Body positive activist Michelle Elman likens the wrap to something you would see in the dystopian world of The Handmaid's Tale. She is concerned consumers buying the product believe they will have the same face as Kim Kardashian if they wear the wrap."That's not true because she went to expensive facialists and beauty technicians to get her face and jawline, not because of a piece of material," she product's launch this week has caused a stir - on Skims' Instagram post for the face wrap, one person asked if it was an April Fools' joke, while another said they couldn't tell if the brand was trolling customers. Several people said the product is contributing to "bad self-esteem among young people". The BBC has contacted Skims for comment. Some people also jokingly compared it to Silence of the Lambs' villain Hannibal Lecter's restraint Hopkins, who played Lecter in the 1991 film, resurrected his character, and posted a video mocking the headwrap. "Hello Kim, I'm already feeling 10 years younger," he said in the clip. 'Look beyond buzzwords' Porter says many "morning shedding" rituals online have "tipped into the realm of performative beauty".While it may have started as genuine self-care, it's not become about "aesthetic perfection, rather than realistic or sustainable skincare"."Many trends may look impressive online, but they often prioritise visual trends over evidence-based practices."Mouth taping, another trend that's part of the "morning shed" routine, claims to improve sleep quality, facial symmetry and even jaw while it's framed as a wellness hack, medical professionals have raised concerns as restricting mouth breathing can be dangerous for people with sleep apnoea or undiagnosed respiratory pharmaceuticals, most cosmetic products, including those with sculpting claims can fall into a regulatory grey gives brands leeway to imply benefits through marketing language, user testimonials, and influencer content, rather than make direct claims that would require scientific recommends that people "look beyond buzzwords" and seek out objective perspectives, rather than influencer promotions."Be wary of exaggerated promises such as "instant lift," "snatched," or "face sculpted overnight," which often prioritise marketing over science, she adds.

Family 'lucky to be alive' as bear climbs into car in US holiday horror
The nosey bear rummaged around their luggage and bags inside the car before being scared off. A family has told how they feel "lucky to be alive" after a bear climbed into their car while they were on holiday in the US. The Ferguson family, from Airdrie, had been staying in a rental cabin in Tennessee's Great Smoky Mountains when the shocking incident unfolded on Monday. Grace Sloan, 18, was with her boyfriend Logan Ferguson, his parents and his aunt and uncle when the wild animal made its surprise appearance. The group were packing up their car following a two-week road-trip across the southern states of America when the black bear climbed into the boot. bear on Monday. Glasgow teen Grace told the Record: "I was still in my room packing up my things and I suddenly heard screams of ' Bear!' coming from outside. "Logan's mum was shouting and I could see his dad Paul and his uncle Johnny in the car and a bear was right next to them." In footage of the ordeal, Johnny is seen fleeing the 4x4 as the nosey bear hauls cases out the car before jumping in the open boot and climbing through the vehicle. But as Johnny made his escape, slamming shut the passenger door, the child lock activated, trapping Logan's dad Paul inside. Grace continued: "Paul had to climb over into the front seats to escape. "I've never seen sweat come off someone like that in my life. "We were all panicking not knowing what to do. 'If the bear had hurt anyone, I don't know what we would have done. "I'm still shocked. It could have killed one of us and Paul and Johnny are lucky to be alive in that way.' A video of the family's close encounter has since racked up over one million views on TikTok. In a bid to scare the bear away, the family can be seen triggering the car alarm. The animal eventually scarpered, leaving behind a torn hat and a hole in a suitcase. The family's trip took them through Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans, North Carolina, and Alabama. Black bears are native to the state of Tennessee and can weigh anywhere from 200-600lbs. Grace added: "We were lucky enough to see five bears on the whole trip, but the last one was by far the scariest. It was nerve wracking, but at least we all have a good story to tell."
