In the end, it was Kyle Shilling and his partner Lily Cornish who were crowned this year's Dancing With The Stars champions.
'I'm feeling mixed emotions, as it's come to an end,' he said. 'We built such a strong family here and you can see all the beautiful people behind us. It's amazing to be able to stand here and hold this trophy, knowing all the hard work we put in has paid off.'
This marks Lily's second Dancing With The Stars win after she took home the mirrorball trophy alongside Grant Denyer in 2022.
Kyle's 'exceptional' finale performance
Kyle was one of the most consistent performers this season and received a perfect score of 40 from the judges in his third week.
The actor was also given top marks for his freestyle performance in the grand finale honouring his First Nation's culture, which the judges described as 'exceptional'.
'I really loved the way you honoured your culture, I thought it was just so beautiful,' Helen Richey said. 'I've been on this show from the very, very beginning. [That was] one of the best performances I've ever seen. It touched me like that, so thank you.'

'Absolutely vile': Tesco launches nostalgic birthday cake sandwich - 7 reviews on the viral food moment
This been the summer of viral food trends. First it was Dubai chocolate everything, then M&S released a wave of internet faves including chunky cookies, and a strawberries and cream sandwich, and now Tesco has entered their hat into the ring with their latest invention - a birthday cake sandwich. Yesterday (4th August) the supermarket launched a new limited edition sandwich as part of its meal deal. Except this isn't your standard lunch fare. Inspired by a childhood classic of a birthday cake, the new sandwich features the flavours of classic Victoria sponge and sprinkles. It's £3.00 on it's own or £4.00 with a drink and snack. The new sandwich is available for just four weeks, so if you want to try it, don't delay in heading to your nearest Tesco. But is it actually worth trying? Well already many shoppers have been down to their local Tesco to try it out. The Liverpool Echo reported the sandwich said the "cream cheese icing and jam were overpowering compared to the brioche bread" and added that it in fact "didn't taste much different to your standard birthday cake." We're not sure we'll be replacing our usual birthday cake for this though. Others were less convinced with the new sandwich, with TikTok food creator Angelina PJ criticising the sandwich and saying how it was far too sweet. Speaking to camera in her review yesterday she said: "Oh my gosh it's so sweet, I can't. As you can see I'm a bit speechless". Meanwhile over on this morning's [5 August] edition of Lorraine, host Christine Lampard reviewed the sandwich alongside guests Sarah Hewson and Ayesha Hazarika, who were in agreement over not liking the sandwich. And on X many people were complaining about hte sandwich with one person trying it and saying it "wasn't worth it", and reminded them of B&M's birthday cake candle. Another said it looks "absolutely vile" and another questioned why the sandwich had bread and instead argued they could have used thin slices of cake. Over on Instagram foodie account Newfoodsuk reviewed the viral sandwich and gave their verdict: "Trying the new Birthday Cake Sandwich from @tesco 🎂 Wow, it was very sweet indeed! You do also get a strong cream cheese flavour too! 😅 Very intriguing sandwich for sure!". Will you be trying it? Lydia Venn is Cosmopolitan UK's Senior Entertainment and Lifestyle Writer. Pentagram's Debut Australian Tour Has Been Cancelled
Hardline Media – the touring company behind Pentagram's debut Australian tour in August 2025 – have announced that the American band's maiden voyage will no longer be going ahead at this time. In a statement shared today (July 18th), the promoter said that due to 'the current allegations surrounding the Australia and New Zealand tour', the tour would be 'on hiatus'. 'To be clear, no visas have been granted, as has been stated previously by other media,' the statement read – although it is unclear what 'other media' is being alluded to. 'No venues or any staff hitherto are party to these allegations. With great respect, we appreciate your patience and understanding while we manage this situation. All ticket holders will be contacted directly, as information becomes available.' Hardline Media: 'No visas have been granted.' The tour's cancellation is believed to have been brought on by posts made by social activist Sherele Moody, who runs the account Femicide Watch with over 105,000 Instagram followers. Earlier today, Moody posted about the band's tour and described frontman Bobby Liebling as a 'violent thug', owing to his past conviction and imprisonment in 2017. Liebling, then 64, was charged with first-degree assault and physical abuse/injury of a vulnerable adult – that being his then-87-year-old mother, Diane Liebling. He was sentenced to 18 months in prison, with a three-year probationary period. He returned to touring with Pentagram upon his release from prison in 2019. 'Australian venues and the government are allowing a man who brutalised his elderly mum to perform here – right in the middle of a male violence epidemic,' Moody wrote in her original post. 'Please reach out to the venues to express concern, but be respectful.' A follow-up post confirmed that Hardline Media had reached out to her to confirm the cancellation, with Moody also condemning an 'abusive message' sent to the promoter on her behalf. Pentagram have spent the majority of 2025 playing to the biggest crowds of their 54-year career, thanks to the band's unexpected exposure to a new generation of listeners after footage of Liebling went viral on TikTok. Liebling formed Pentagram in 1971 out of Richmond, Virginia. He has overseen every iteration of the band in the 54 years that followed, although he took an 18-month hiatus from the band circa 2017 for the aforementioned imprisonment. Liebling's struggles with addiction were documented in the 2011 film Last Days Here, which premiered at that year's SXSW. Jamie Lee Curtis tearfully praises Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson
Jamie Lee Curtis has tearfully praised the relationship between Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson. The Naked Gun stars are rumoured to have become romantically involved after meeting on the set of the film, and the Freakier Friday star has called for people to stop speculating about the pair but to just feel happy if they have found love with one another. She told VT in a clip shared to TikTok: 'With all due respect to pop culture, if love has found [its] way into that relationship - God bless them both - leave them the f*** alone. Let them like each other. 'Both of them have had hardship, and they're both beautiful human beings - makes me cry." She grew tearful as she added: "If they actually have found an intimate love with each other, we should all go to bed tonight feeling better.' Jamie thinks her Last Showgirl co-star and Liam - whose wife Natasha Richardson died in a skiing accident in 2009 - both deserve happiness. She said: 'She's a beautiful person. She was fantastic [in the movie], but she's a beautiful human being. 'He also suffered an unimaginable loss so young, and has had a really hard go of it. "So if, in fact, these people have hard launched, then wish them the best and leave them alone.' The Freakier Friday star's comments come after 73-year-old Liam's son Daniel expressed his approval over his dad's new relationship. The 28 year old was in the audience when the pair appeared on Watch What Happens Live over the weekend. Host Andy Cohen told the couple: 'The question that I'm not asking the two of you tonight is what's going on between the two of you, but I do just want to say, as a very old friend of [Liam's], all of your friends are very much stanning this relationship, as the kids say." As Liam put his hand on Pamela's shoulder and she reached to squeeze it, Andy then asked Daniel, who was sitting in the audience: "Right Danny?" Daniel replied: "Yes." On Friday (01.08.25), Pamela shared a series of photos of herself and Liam on Instagram along with the caption: "The Naked Gun is finally in theatres! Bring your friends, family, lovers… whoever… just go and have a laugh… it's good for you! "I'll see you there [white heart and popcorn emojis] (sic)" And Daniel commented with a string of emojis including hands up, fire, and white hearts. Natasha's sister, Joely Richardson, also commented on the post with a string of red heart emojis. Liam - who has Micheal, 30, and Daniel with his late wife - previously confessed to being 'madly in love' with Pamela as he gushed about working with her. He told People magazine: 'With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her. She's just terrific to work with. I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with.'
