Sandbox Festival Announce 2nd Wave Line-Up May 8th-10th

Egypt's Sandbox Festival, one of the region's longest-running dance music festivals has just announced the second wave of lineup for its 2025 edition, taking place in El Gouna, Red Sea, from May 8th to May 10th.
A roster of regional electronic pioneers and trailblazers was added to the bill including Zuli, Fulltone, Gharam Electric, Hisham Zahran, Zone+, Zeina, Hashem, Baloo, Tito, Misty, Moenes and Jess b2b Aly Goede, just to name a few.
Organized by events giant Nacelle, the three-day annual festival will also feature Megatronic, Ricardo Villalobos, Joëlla Jackson, Nesta, me, Sama' Abdulhadi, Anotr, and many more, who were revealed the in first wave of the lineup.

Built between Cairo and Berlin, ZULI's Care dives deeper into the soundscape of 2024's Lambda, blending R&B mutations, field recordings, and ambient fragments into four dense, layered tracks. Jun 22, 2025 Berlin-based Egyptian producer ZULI releases 'Care', a four-track EP that expands the his 2024's LP 'Lambda'. Developed between Cairo and Berlin, the release includes two original tracks and two reimaginings, offering a study in melancholy, detail, and immersive storytelling. The lead track, 'Care', opens with a field recording of ZULI tapping an unplugged guitar. A sudden street fight in Cairo, accidentally captured in the background, forms part of its atmospheric core. The result is a piece equally rooted in restraint and intensity. 'Elysian Blue' continues the textural approach of 'Lambda', using minimalist melody and drifting ambience to conjure emotional residue. The EP also includes a remix of 'Ast' (feat.
