New Balance, while best known for its mixed material, retro-leaning runners, has taken a step in a new direction this year. The American sportswear brand has provided several teasers for its newABZORB 2000sneaker in recent months and is finally set to drop it this June.
The New Balance ABZORB 2000 joins theABZORB 2010as two of the shoe specialist's latest looks, with the 2000 favoring a streamlined, contemporary structure. Its seamless upper appears in a 'Still Water' and 'Blue Agate' color scheme — which we firstpreviewed previously— that pairs various blue hues with hints of white and gray. One of the model's signature components is its sole unit, which utilizes a five-pod ABZORB cushioning system and midfoot plate to deliver premium comfort with each step.
At the time of writing, New Balance has yet to officially announce the debut of the ABZORB 2000. Stay tuned for updates, including the brand's technical specifications for the sneaker, as we currently expect this 'Blue Agate' colorway of the new runner to drop on June 14 via New Balance and select retailers at a starting price of $165 USD.

At Wimbledon, the Best Fashion Is On the Court
Over in London, Wimbledon is well underway, and we—as per usual—are keeping our eyes trained on the stands for the finest celebrity fashions. (Hello, Olivia Rodrigo, Louis Partridge, and Cate Blanchett!) But this year, the court is rivaling the stands in terms of style. Wimbledon has the strictest player dress code of the Grand Slam tournaments. Competitors are required to wear almost entirely white ('White does not include off white or cream,' they clarify on their website). But that isn't stopping the likes of Coco Gauff and Lorenzo Musetti, both of whom made strong fashion statements with their court-appropriate looks. Yesterday, Gauff hit the court in an ultra-feminine New Balance kit—a pleated kilt and a lace tank top embellished with 3D butterflies. No stone went unturned with her outfit, right down to the sweet, lettuce-trimmed socks that peeked out from her white and mint-green tennis shoes. Goff, fresh off her French Open title, lost the match to Ukrainian player Dayana Yastremska, but at least her kit got its moment in the sun.

16 Best Prime Day Sneaker Sales, According to a Running-Obsessed Editor
You might associate Prime Day with major savings on tech or everyday essentials—and you wouldn't necessarily be wrong. But as a running-obsessed editor, I can tell you that sneakers are one of the most underrated categories to shop during Prime Day. A full week ahead of time, Amazon quietly marked down so many shoes—including editor-loved brands like Brooks, New Balance, Adidas, and more. Ahead of your vacation, workout classes, and hot girl walks, you can swap your worn-down kicks for a fresh new pair, sans the hefty price tag. Right now, the best early deals are on running shoes, in particular. (We're talking $40 off the best-selling Brooks Ghost 16, which is perfect for everyday jogs, incline walking, and days when you're on your feet for hours.) Or, score a fresh pair of sneakers like these Nike Gamma Force kicks for 37% off while they're still in stock in all sizes. While you could wait until Prime Day (July 8-11, FYI!) to shop, it may be harder to find your size and fave color in stock once the actual event begins—so shop my personal favorite sneaker finds early, below.
