Why is Rockstar Games Social Club not working anymore?
Rockstar Games Social Club is a DRM software for games like GTA, Red Dead, and many more. This also worked as a central hub of the online communities and services platform for Rockstar titles.
This software also made sure that players are well aware about their in-game stats, achievements, leaderboards, Crew and multiplayer events, content sharing, and what not! However, it seems that the era of Rockstar Games Social Club comes to an end.
Is Rockstar Games Social Club officially shut down?
Frankly speaking, Rockstar Games Social Club was actually more than a DRM. Not only players could authenticate Rockstar titles with Social Club accounts, but they could also manage profiles, link other platforms, etc.
With this platform, players could join various communities, Crews to play group missions, and multiplayer modes and events. Social Club featured community tools and content sharing options to get solutions to any in-game issues. Even this platform used to grant exclusive bonuses and rewards.
It seems fans won't be able to use these perks anymore as Rockstar Games Social Club is probably defunct. There have been recent reports which suggest that Rockstar Games Social Club now redirects to the standard Rockstar Games homepage.

There's been a clear appetite building among the new generation of audiences for a heartfelt, all-consuming love story, and Mohit Suri's Saiyaara seems to have arrived right on cue. In contrast, Saiyaara offered something refreshing: two new faces who felt real, vulnerable, and entirely relatable. The kind of people you might actually spot at a coffee shop or an open mic night. This relatability struck a powerful emotional chord. A huge part of that impact was also thanks to the unconventional marketing strategy by Yash Raj Films, specifically by director Mohit Suri and producer Aditya Chopra. Grand Theft Auto VI, a.k.a. GTA 6, may finally offer 60 frames per second (fps) gameplay, but only if you are planning to play it on your PlayStation 5 Pro, new leaks suggest. According to recent reports, Sony is reportedly working closely to boost the performance of the upcoming advanced console. However, the first trailers of the game showed that it is working at 30 FPS on the PS5. Rockstar and Sony team up to optimise GTA 6 for PS5 Pro A popular X (formerly called Twitter) user under the name Detective Seeds, popular for his leaks, claims that a PlayStation engineer has confirmed a behind-the-scenes collaboration between Sony and Rockstar Games. Why is Rockstar Games teaming up with Sony? According to GizBot, the main goal of Rockstar Games is to get GTA 6 running at 60 FPS on PS5 Pro, no matter which graphical setting the players choose to play with. Not only this, but unlike many titles that offer a choice between 'performance' and 'quality' modes, GTA 6 on PS5 Pro is believed to feature multiple graphical presets, but all these will target the 60 FPS mode, the leak further suggested.
