This Yeti bag is the hottest mom tote of the summer — and Wall Street is paying attention

Business Insider12 hours ago
Behold the bag that has a chokehold on mom TikTok: the Yeti Camino 35 Carryall Tote Bag.
The waterproof tote bag, made by Texas-based outdoor recreation products company Yeti, has been all over MomTok. Parents are taking videos touting it as the sleekest, most durable bag for carrying their things while ferrying children from place to place.
It costs between $150 and $170, per its product listing on Dick's Sporting Goods.
The bag, boxy with heavy-duty handles, is huge — 18.1 inches in length, 9.8 inches in width, and 15.2 inches in height. Yeti's website said the bag's carry handles can manage up to 300 pounds of weight.
A Friday analyst note from Jefferies on July 18 said the tote has gone viral, with search trends for "YETI Camino 35 Carryall Tote Bag" skyrocketing by 1,100% in the past month. Searches for "YETI bag" have increased by 200%, the note said.
Representatives for Yeti did not respond to a request for comment from Business Insider.
Perfect bag for a day of bringing kids around
Melissa Navarette, a California-based content creator and makeup artist, said she spotted the Yeti Camino 35 last year while scrolling on TikTok for the perfect mom bag.
She told Business Insider she needed a bag to bring supplies from her family's house onto their boat for a ride around the lake.
She now has two Yeti Camino 35s — one in bright pink and another in jet black. And she's customized them with bag charms, beaded chains, bows, and even a pink Labubu plushie.
"The bag has collapsible pockets on the inside, perfect for all of us moms carrying our large Stanley cups around," she said. "I absolutely think it's worth the price."
Angelica Torres, a Miami-based content creator and first-grade teacher, said she was already a Yeti fan. The company, founded in 2006 by brothers Roy and Ryan Seiders, is also known for its cooler bags, water bottles, and travel bags.
"I bought it to use as my teacher bag for the upcoming school year. I needed something that could keep up with my daily routine, carry all my materials, and still look sleek," Torres said.
Erin Gunther, a South Carolina-based content creator who heads a video production company, said she bought her Yeti bag in June while browsing Dick's Sporting Goods for an Owala water bottle.
She bought it to carry her family's items to the beach, pool, and boat. She said, "I would seriously buy it 100 times over. It's so versatile, and I think it's going to look brand new for years."
The content creators compared it to the Bogg Bag, another mom bag that's been popular on TikTok.
The Bogg Bag, which retails on Dick's Sporting Goods' website for $90 before discounts, is a large, flexible plastic bag with holes in the sides. It looks like a bag version of Crocs.
"The Yeti bag is much more comfortable to carry versus the Bogg Bag. It's also much cuter in my opinion," said Navarrete.
Gunther, too, said she preferred the Yeti Camino's straps over the Bogg Bag's, saying the latter's straps were uncomfortable to carry.
Torres said she used a mix of canvas totes and nylon bags for work before switching to the Yeti, and they wore out quickly.
"The Camino is a major upgrade; it stands upright, doesn't collapse, and handles wear and tear much better," Torres said.
The bag is on Jefferies analysts' radar
Jefferies analysts said in a Friday note that the bag has gone viral, and it's boosting Yeti's growth.
"Yeti's product innovation is gaining traction, with bags quickly becoming a key growth pillar for the company," Jefferies analysts said in the note, adding that they view the category as a "major contributor to future growth."
Jefferies analysts mentioned the Yeti bag in a Monday note, saying its momentum boosted their confidence in Yeti Holdings' stock.
"We'd be aggressive buyers at current levels," the note said.
The company's stock price is up more than 28% in the past month but is flat compared to a year before.

Zac Efron's shirtless golf groove is the perfect 'Stick' TV theme song: Hear it now

The theme song to the AppleTV+ golf series "Stick" is so infectiously good that the ditty is the soundtrack to Zac Efron's viral shirtless golf outing. The actor and his brother, Dylan Efron, showed off impressive swings — and serious abs — in the golfing video posted to Dylan's TikTok and Instagram Reels accounts on July 22 with the simple comment: "Sticks." The comment referred to the series "Stick," which features the theme song, "And It's Gone." The Efron brothers are feeling the song that plays in the video. "Stick" stars Owen Wilson as one-time golf phenom Pryce Cahill, who overcomes personal trauma to make a comeback as a mentor. Executive producer Jason Keller told USA TODAY that he struggled to find the perfect song to reflect Cahill's "vibe" of optimism, pain, and renewal for the series (which is now streaming its Season 1 finale). Owen Wilson talks 'Stick': Star loved outputting these pros in AppleTV+ series "I was looking for the right feeling, but I just couldn't find it," said Keller, who stumbled across the Ohio-based folk band Caamp during the search. "I knew immediately they were the perfect fit for the show. I've since learned they are a very popular band." Keller asked Caamp lead singer Taylor Meier, who happens to be an avid golfer, to compose the "Stick" theme song. "I had to kind of talk him into it. I think he wanted nothing to do with me," Keller admitted. "But I asked him to read the scripts and kept talking to him about what I was hoping for." Keller was working on the golf set when he received a sound file and a text from Meier. "He wrote, 'Try this. Is this what you're looking for? And it was that song,'" Keller continued. "I played it out loud for everyone while we were shooting the show. It was perfect right out of the gate." What's the theme song from 'Sticks'? Caamp recorded "And It's Gone" while making the band's recently released fifth studio album, "Copper Changes Color." The album debuted on Spotify's Top 10 Albums: Debut USA. The band is on its first headlining tour in three years with back-to-back sold-out shows at New York City's Radio Music Hall (Sept. 12 and 13). You can stream "And It's Gone" here. Note: The song title has nothing to do with whatever happened to Zac Efron's shirt on the golf course. How to watch Owen Wilson in 'Stick' All of Season 1 of "Stick" is now streaming on AppleTV+. On July 23, the day the "Stick" Season 1 finale dropped, AppleTV+ confirmed that Season 2 is in the works. Listen to "Copper Changes Color" here.

Husband praised for admitting he was ‘clueless' about gender roles in marriage: ‘Men can evolve and see the light'

Maybe it's not too little, too late. A husband took to social media to share his realization of things he did wrong in his marriage of 20 years, specifically regarding gender roles — and the internet is praising him for it. Josh Fisher has posted several videos to TikTok under the series name, 'Chronicles of a Clueless Husband,' where he self-reflects in his car on many of his wrongdoings and shortcomings as a husband. In the first video of the series, Fisher specifically spoke on how he would often channel 'main character energy' in his marriage. 'Early in our marriage, my partner and I say, we'd be going on a trip. My partner, at that point in time, would be doing the laundry, vacuuming the house, making sure the dishes were done,' the middle-aged man explained, which is a scenario so many couples can relate to. 'I would think, 'Well, you don't have to do that, that's you wanting to do that.'' He further explained how his wife would always have a long to-do list of things to get done before their trip — while Fisher nonchalantly packed his bag, grabbed the books he wanted to read while on vacation and would show up 'ready to go on the trip.' Talk about a division of labor. 'Looking back, how could I possibly think that was okay?' the now self-aware man in his 40s empathetically said in his video. Of course, once kids came into the picture for Fisher and his wife, this selfish routine didn't stop — it only got worse. 'I saw my own father do this quite a bit, where he would take care of his own needs, so I know I didn't learn it from nowhere. But I also had to unlearn it,' the husband and father continued. Unfortunately, this warped way of thinking regarding gender roles is common in many marriages — and the thousands of comments on this viral video proved that to be true. People on social media were pleasantly surprised at how self-aware this hubby now is. Damir Khabirov – 'I assure you I have NEVER done laundry, vacuumed, or washed dishes because I WANTED to.' 'And then he will get mad when you are stressed, overstimulated, short fused.' 'What's my insane takeaway here is that so many men say shit like women 'want' to do all that. Nobody 'wants' to do housework. It just needs to be done to live a healthy life.' Plenty of commenters also praised Fisher for finally taking accountability. 'You have opened your eyes, wonderful.' 'At least you're aware of it now. It's exhausting being the one carrying the mental load.' 'Wonderful to see that men can evolve and see the light. There's a glimmer of hope!' 'Thank you for your vulnerability. It takes a lot of guts to look at yourself and admit your wrongdoings. You are doing the work. Good on you.' Division of labor in marriages often causes intense conflict. simona – Another way to keep the peace in a marriage is by avoiding giving these two specific compliments to your loved one. 'How are you always so calm?' should never be said because it can alter a person's personality. 'When emotional suppression is praised in adult relationships, it reinforces the message that your worth lies in being agreeable and low-maintenance,' psychologist Dr. Mark Travers explained in Psychology Today. The second one is telling your partner: 'You're the only person I can talk to.' According to Travers, this sounds nice, but in reality, it can signal emotional dependency rather than intimacy. 'This diversity in emotional support leads to greater well-being, because no single relationship is overloaded with the task of holding it all,' Travers explained to the outlet.

‘Big Brother 27' recap: After Jimmy's outburst, was Zae, Amy, or Kelley evicted first?

Heading into the first eviction episode of Big Brother 27, Ashley Hollis had just won the Power of Veto and removed herself from the chopping block. Head of Household Vince Panaro replaced her with his closest ally, Kelley Jorgensen, believing that the "risk" of nominating her would be worth the "reward" of keeping their alliance a secret ... sure, Jan. Zae Frederich and Amy Bingham were also up for eviction, but with a BB Blockbuster comp still to take place, it was anyone's guess as to who would go home on Thursday night. Read on for our recap of Big Brother Season 27, Episode 4, which aired July 17 on CBS. This season's theme is the "Summer of Mystery" and the house has been transformed into the Hotel Mystère, where secrets lurk behind every corner. The 17 players in the running to win the $750,000 grand prize are: More from Gold Derby 'I had no idea who she was': Zae reflects on his clash with Rachel and early eviction in 'Big Brother 27' exit interview 'Big Brother 27' spoilers: Here's who wins the Week 2 Head of Household competition Adrian Rocha (23): Carpenter from San Antonio, Texas Amy Bingham (43): Insurance agent from Stockton, Calif. Will Williams (50): College sports podcaster from Wallace, S.C. Zach Cornell (27): Marketing manager from Cartersville, Ga. Zae Frederich (23): Salesperson from Paducah, Ky. The "previously on" segment caught viewers up on Jimmy's wild outburst at the Veto meeting. After Kelley was announced as the renom, Jimmy stood up and attacked Keanu for calling him a snake. "I am gunning for you, so buckle up, buddy, because this snake has a bite," Jimmy hissed, to which Keanu cooly responded, "How long did it take for you to come up with that?" After the meeting, Keanu and Jimmy sat down to come to an understanding with each other about what was said in the days leading up to it. Jimmy told Keanu that he "has nothing against" him and denied that he was overtly gunning to get him out of the game, but of course that was a bold-faced lie. Elsewhere, and despite basically nominating herself as the replacement, Kelley was in tears ("mostly real") because she wasn't entirely sure at this point that she'd have the votes to stay this week. BURGER BOYS & DUMBBELLS Not to be atypical of any past season, a group of guys got together to create the "Burger Boys" alliance in Vince's HOH room. Vince went along with Zae, Zach, Rylie and Will's new plan because he had already decided he wanted Amy to be evicted so that meant any plan to secure Zae's safety was in his best interest. Self-nominated icon Kelley spent the week digging herself into a deeper hole with an anti-campaign for her own safety where she said everything she shouldn't say to the people she needs votes from. Her campaign included gems like reminding people that Zach won $10,000 in front of Zach, calling the workout bros "The Dumbbells" to their face, and awkwardly cheering on Keanu and Jimmy spending time together after their fight. As paranoia crept in, both Kelley and Vince began to get nervous about their decision to "do something cool" by putting her up in the first place. COMING FOR THE QUEEN With Rachel's number one ally Amy on the block, she knew she had to put in work in order to secure votes against Zae for the dual purpose of protecting Amy and striking a blow at any boys alliance. Luckily Rachel found easy support among some of the women who also had their sights set on getting out a strong player like Zae. Noticing the whispering around the house and knowing how close Rachel and Amy are, Zae figured that he'd need to counter Rachel's efforts to campaign against him, but underestimated her willingness to crash out quickly when threatened. One small comment from Zae made Rachel think that he was threatening her if/when he wins HOH, prompting her to warn him about how dangerous it is "coming for the queen" because he "might get beheaded." Zae remained unphased though, hoping that him standing up a huge threat like Rachel would show the voting houseguests that he's worth working with if they hope to go against her, too. BB BLOCKBUSTER For the first BB Blockbuster competition, Zae, Kelley, and Amy played "Ransom Note," a race to unscramble four words that formed a clue directing them to collect an item in the room. Kelley was the first to retrieve an item in the room, picking up a white and green gem tiara, and pressed her buzzer first to successfully solve the ransom note riddle and earn her safety from eviction! Once the result was announced to the house, they had mere moments to discuss in small groups how they'd be voting between Zae and Amy. Based on some casual eye rolls from Rachel while whispering with people like Adrian, it seemed like she might not have the votes she thought she did to save Amy. LIVE VOTE Prior to the vote, Amy and Zae got to give one last campaign speech to the houseguests. Amy argued that Zae is "more of a competitor physically and mentally" that they should send home and that she's an "honest to a fault" player that they should want to work with. Zae agreed that he's a competitor, but pitched that they're all there to compete. His main case was that Amy is a "second vote for Rachel" and they could "even the playing field" by taking Amy out in order to strike a blow to Rachel. The camerapeople were smart to leave the shot on Rachel during Zae's speech because she was absolutely fuming. In the Diary Room, the houseguests cast their votes: Kelley to evict Amy, Rachel to "happily" evict Zae, Zach to evict Amy, Rylie to evict Zae, Jimmy to evict Zae, Morgan to evict Zae, Adrian to evict Amy, Keanu to evict Amy, Ashley to evict Zae, Mickey to evict Zae, Will to evict Amy, Ava to evict Zae, Katherine to evict Zae, and Lauren to evict Zae. By a vote of 9 to 5, Zae was evicted from the house. ZAE'S CLOSING REMARKS In his closing conversation with Julie, Zae was surprised to find out that his final two ally Rylie actually voted to evict him. He was equally surprised to learn the unremarkable and irrelevant bit of information that Amy was in fact the accomplice. Despite the could-be-embarrassing record of being the first voted out, Zae kept it positive by finding the unique attribute of him being able to call himself 17th place in Big Brother.
