Angelina Jolie Chooses Quality Time With Kids Over A Big Party On 50th Birthday

Angelina Jolie has changed her view on ageing over the years and feels calm about growing older.
Angelina Jolie opted to celebrate her 50th birthday on June 4 with a small and private gathering instead of a big Hollywood party. Jolie, who was last seen in Maria, decided that a quiet celebration was the best way to ring in her special day. The Eternals star reportedly spent time with her six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne.
A source close to Jolie told People that she 'seems genuinely excited and happy about turning 50. She doesn't want a big party." The insider added that 'So much of her 40s were rough. She's in a much better place now. The kids are amazing and thriving. There is less family drama."
The source further mentioned that Angelina Jolie 'is embracing the idea of turning 50 and feels more grounded than ever. She's not shying away from getting older, in fact, she's leaning into it. Angie sees ageing in a really positive light, especially after losing her mom so young. She feels calm, inspired, and she's excited about what's ahead."
The last ten years have been very difficult for Angelina Jolie due to her acrimonious divorce proceedings with Brad Pitt. After a long relationship, Jolie and Pitt tied the knot in 2014. Two years later, they separated after the actress accused her Mr and Mrs Smith co-star of being abusive to her and their six children during a private plane flight. The former couple were granted a divorce in December 2024 after an eight-year-long legal battle.
During this time, Pitt found support in his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon. According to People, de Ramon has helped him stay calm and feel supported through the long process. As per sources, 'There's no pressure between them. She gives him space when he needs it, but is always there when it counts. Ines has brought a lot of peace into Brad's life. Their relationship has been easy and natural."
Coming back to Angelina Jolie, the star was recently seen at the Cannes Film Festival in France, where she attended the Trophee Chopard dinner. She also showed up at the world premiere of Eddington, starring Emma Stone.

Henry Golding says portraying James Bond is every actors 'nightmare'

Washington DC [US], June 29 (ANI): Actor Henry Golding shared his opinions on being a potential actor to star in the new James Bond movie directed by Denis Villeneuve, reported People. Henry Golding, a British actor who is known for 'The Gentlemen', 'Crazy Rich Asians', A Simple Favor' and others, believes that playing the role of James Bond is a "nightmare" for every actor. "I think that's every actor's kind of nightmare," Golding told People at 'The Old Guard 2' red carpet premiere in Los Angeles. He also expressed his interest in adding new additions to the franchise. He also suggests on bringing out more 'agents" or 'OO's. "At the same time, [you're] also wanting to kind of add something new to a franchise. Why can't they bring out more agents or more OO's? I think that would be so much more fun because there just isn't the restraints and the expectation," said Golding as quoted by People. Despite his initial response, the actor admitted that he may be scared due to the "overhanging cultural pressure" behind the portrayal of the next James Bond. "Maybe I'm just a pu***. I don't know. But I think I would love it so much more if there wasn't that overhanging cultural pressure," said Golding as quoted by People. According to Variety, Golding is one of several candidates to be cast as the martini-sipping superspy in the forthcoming film. Bond was last played by Daniel Craig in the 2021 film, 'No Time to Die.' Other actors who played the role have been George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and, most famously, Sean Connery. Bond was created by British author Ian Fleming in 1953. The film franchise launched in 1962 with Connery as Bond in the film 'Dr. No' that same year, reported Variety. On June 25, Amazon MGM Studios revealed that Denis Villeneuve will direct the next iteration of the spy movie, with Tanya Lapointe joining as an executive producer, reported Variety.

Jennifer Aniston reveals her dream comeback role and its not Rachel Green from FRIENDS

Jennifer Aniston Jennifer Aniston will forever be remembered as Rachel Green from the hit series 'Friends,' but it seems that if she had a choice to come back to any previous work, she'd give up Central Perk for something slightly crazier and funnier. Speaking with People, Aniston shared that her first choice for a comeback would be the raunchy office comedy 'Horrible Bosses,' where she played the completely inappropriate Dr. Julia Harris. "This actually came up the other day," she explained, adding that her co stars Jason Bateman and Charlie Day are equally enthusiastic about the prospect. "Jason and I were just talking, and Charlie's been bringing it up too. It's one of those stories that would be a blast to catch up on again and I mean who wouldn't want to know where those wacky characters are now?" Comedy is a requirement, The actress insists Comedy is not just about having fun for Aniston but it's required. "We need comedy," she said. "It's a necessity these days. That's why returning to 'Horrible Bosses' would be so enjoyable. Those are crazy characters and it'd be great to see how much trouble they're in now."
